    Big Cheesy Taco Combo
    Carrie O.

My son brought his construction crew to Taco Mania every day for a week. That was a good enough recommendation for us. So we headed there for date night. I was expecting good tacos. Maybe they could just put taco fillings on a salad base for me? Since going keto in March, I've discovered that my foodie loving heart just struggles to find good food that will work for my needs. It was hard enough when my daughter was diagnosed with celiac disease and we tried to find gluten free food. keto was much harder. But then I saw the words KETO PLATTER on the menu. They actually made tacos out of crispy cheese folded around the taco fillings. And it was incredibly delicious. My husband laughed when he saw tears in my eyes. This taco was a Very Big Deal. I took an extra picture to show the composition of the taco they made me cry. Check it out. I chose Birria and Carne Asada for my taco fillings. Hubs chose Al Pastor and Carne Asada. Both were great. The staff welcomed us as newbies and explained the menu. The establishment was very clean (not even one table was messy). There was a fridge full of Coke bottles (assuming that was the real deal Mexican Coke). There was a soda fountain and a salsa bar. We will be back to try every taco combo. Taco Mania won over two more fans.

This is a nice little taco shop with good personality and great taco choices. I tried multiple taco meats and by far, the carne asada is the way to go. Everyone has been friendly and I like that I can grab all the salsa and onions that I want. I would come back.

Taco mania is fun, laidback, and simply a great lunch spot. I ordered the cheesy tacos with birria, chicken, and carne asada. All three were fantastic but the carne asada was my favorite. The cilantro sauce is fantastic and completes the tacos. I will definitely come back.

Great tacos and friendly service. The cheesy birria tacos are delicious. Their creamy cilantro dressing at the salsa bar competes with Café Rio and might actually be better. I recommend getting around 3-4 tacos, but you will want more. Everything at the salsa bar is tasty. Last recommendation: get there early, because the place isn't that big and it gets busy real fast.

We ordered taco mania for meeting today. Super tasty and was made fresh upon ordering. The cashier was lovely. She wasn't sure how to do tax exemptions but went above and beyond to get it done properly. It's a really cute spot, with great food options. The self serve counter can get messy quickly but not a bid deal.

Carne Asada street taco... so good!

What I saw was Tacoma which is where I'm from in Washington so I checked closer and found a new taco spot. Walked in Friday at 7pm and the place is packed. Good sign. I ordered 2 carne asada on flour and 2 al pastor on corn tortilla ... they are out of the birra so will need to come back another time for that... First bite... carne asada on flour tortillas... so moist and fresh! The carne was tender. Wow so surprised. I was expecting dry tough chewy beef and I got lots of flavor and easy to chew and appreciate the quality. I added onion and cilantro from the salsa bar with a creamy orange colored sauce that was supposed to be really hot. It was fantastic. Spicy but not debilitating. Next was al Pastor on the corn tortilla... I used the tomatillo salsa... perfectly spicy... the Al pastor was so flavorful, Smokey and super tender...This is my new spot. I had to go back for more! Two Chipotle Chick on corn tortilla with melted cheese... called the cheesy taco. Second set is braised brisket on flour tortilla ... added the spicy salsa with onion and cilantro.... F bomb these are both amazing! So tender and the flavors and delicious. Please support this small business. This needs to survive. It's such a challenge to find good food and this is that spot. Come check it out!

The tacos were pretty good BUT very small portions. Tried the birria cheesy taco, Al pastor cheesy taco, chorizo, carne asada and brisket tacos. The meats were all juicy but pretty bland. They have a self serve cart with salsas, onions, cilantro and lime. Even after all that and $30 I would expect to be leaving full but I left still hungry. We also had a birria burrito which thankfully was pretty large came with 5 chips lol but still bland. Lots of sour cream.

Amazing spot for Tacos! I love all the topping bars, and the sauces are tasty. We arrived Al pastor, carne asada, chorizo and cheesy Birria Tacos they were both so yummy. For Birria we ordered the cosine on the side, which is a must! The service is quick, you order and sit down and your tacos will come to the table. I suggest you wait until you get the lil tray to head to the sauce and topping bar. Can't wait to come back for more.

    Awesome interior decorations!

I dream about their birria cheesy street tacos. Tender and juicy without being greasy. Worth the drive.

Their…read morechips come out warm, perfectly salty, and totally addictive -- and most of the time we can't get enough of the salsa. It's basically our default when we want sit-down Mexican. The salsa can vary a little from batch to batch (sometimes mild, sometimes surprisingly fiery), but that's part of the experience. Just know they bring a bowl per entrée and then charge for extras -- which feels a little lame, not gonna lie... but we still order it anyway because it's still good. It's clean, lively, and always buzzing. Weekend evenings? Absolute chaos. If you don't like a packed house and a wait, plan accordingly. We've learned our lesson there. Food-wise, it's the classic comfort lineup and it never disappoints. Cheese enchiladas are a staple for us. The flautas? So good. Fajitas? Solid every time. And let's just say if you're not adding cheese on top of your beans... you're missing out on the full experience. That melty layer makes everything better. We ordered off the kids menu this time too, and honestly I was impressed. $7 for a kids meal where you pick the entrée feels fair these days, and everything came out hot and tasty. Now... tonight's service was rough. Our server, Noemi, took about 15 minutes to bring water after we sat down -- even after we asked three separate times. We had chips and salsa immediately (and this batch of salsa was way hotter than usual), so when our toddler started coughing from the spice and needed water, we let her know. Somehow she still came back to take our order before bringing drinks. We literally had to say, "Can we please get water before we order?" It was strange and honestly frustrating. BUT. The food was still great. The atmosphere is still one we enjoy. And the chips and salsa will absolutely pull us back in again. La Hacienda is still our go-to when the salsa craving hits -- we'll just be hoping for smoother service next time.

The food was the same delicious meal we've experienced in Draper but service was less than impressive. It took a long time to be created by our server and we were checked on very infrequently even as beverage cups sat empty. If you are okay with exchanging waiting to be seated with subpar service it's the same food. I however am thinking the service at the other location will pull me back there.
