My husband and I came here for our anniversary and we really enjoyed everything! Our server was wonderful and gave us great suggestions, and of course the food was amazing since we followed them. We started with the pork belly platter--spicy but packed with flavor and so good! For entrées, I had the queso birria tacos (delicious) and my husband tried the birria burrito, which he really enjoyed. We finished with the cinnamon churro cheesecake for dessert and wow... seriously incredible. The vibes were so fun! There were dancers performing around the tables, which made the night feel extra special. I've heard their brunch is great too, so we'll definitely be back! read more

Made it back for brunch and was not disappointed! So happy they had brunch available during the week. The pancakes were a legit cake with cream in-between. Great starter for the whole table to try. I was nervous the breakfast burrito wouldn't be enough, but it was a whole meal wrapped in a warm tortilla. Specialty cocktails are always on point. This was the perfect place to bring my wife for her birthday. Service is always top shelf and the restaurant is absolutely gorgeous. read more

Beautiful restaurant, great service, fun ambiance. We went to celebrate a birthday they will play any requested song and bring out a sign with dessert. They also have live dancers for your enjoyment. Food was ok better than I expected (for Mexican food in Utah) ((I am very picky)). A bit pricey. Nice presentation. Not very big servings. read more

First time trying this place and we came for brunch! The food is so fresh and delicious. The plating is so pretty. We enjoyed everything we ordered. My favorite was the Huevos Rancheros. We got churro bites for dessert and they came with 3 different dipping sauces which we all enjoyed. I would love to come back not during brunch and try the other menu and see the entertainment they do. read more

SUCH a fun place. Absolutely delicious. We went two weekends in a row because we loved it that much. To start, I could eat their chips and salsa as a meal and be so happy. The steak tacos and fish tacos are my favorite. The rice and beans??? I could eat everyday for the rest of my life. The calamari and ceviche appetizers were also deliciousss. It kind of feels like you're at a club, so maybe not the best place for children. Definitely a place to go on a date or have fun with friends. They bring out a lit up sign for birthdays, so fun. read more

Great food and atmosphere. I made my reservation one month in advance and although we checked in at our reservation time, we still waited for about 10 minutes. It was very busy on a Saturday night. Lots of celebrations! Our server was great and attentive, she checked on our table frequently. Our favorites were the appetizers: Tuna tartare and Shrimp ceviche. The tuna tartare reminds me of the Hawaiian shoyu tuna poke. The fish tacos were good, and the batter on the fish was light and airy. The quesadillas and enchilada were great as well. Overall, the food was decent, but definitely came here more for the atmosphere and fun music. I agree with most of the other reviews, the food was definitely overpriced but you are paying more for the experience. read more

Looking for a great date night restaurant? Las Botellas is it. The ambiance is romantic and elevated, the food is absolutely delicious, and the entertainment is unique and mesmerizing The menu is a bit pricey. Some of the items are fairly priced, but a lot of them are not. (We got suckered into the $20 table side guacamole...it's fun to watch but the guacamole itself isn't anything special.) However, there wasn't a s single thing I didn't like, so it was still money well spent. The service wasn't bad, but it also wasn't ideal. Our waiter kept trying to upsell higher priced menu items and the other wait staff seemed to be a bit frazzled at times. If you want to treat yourself to a fun night out, Las Botellas is your place. It might not be a regular stop for me, but I'm glad I tried it once. read more

Great ambiance, food and drinks! Loved the fire dancer and the creative cocktails. Came here with a group of 8 women for my birthday. It was so fun. Our waitress was a bit inexperienced. So that was disappointing. She took orders pretty slowly. Also, there is a bday celebration like every 5 mins. It was fun but kind of crazy how many people were there for bdays. If you want them to bring the big Las Vegas sign out you have to buy a bottle of wine or champagne or do a round of shots. They don't have any creative shots though - just straight liquor. Also, they let you pick a song but mine didn't get played when they brought the sign out. Our waitress was a bit disorganized. We did get one dessert on the house though because we ordered it and she forgot to ring it in. So we had to remind her and at that point our group was already leaving and had paid their tabs. My suggestion would be for the waitresses to have more training or experience. read more

Service was good, kind of slow. But it was a Friday night, so that likely played into it. The server was really nice. Did order drinks, but got the wrong beverage twice. All three taco dishes were delicious. Salt was needed (can request salt, but not on table). Enchiladas were tasty. The desserts we couldn't pick. Chocolate cake was bomb hands down the best one they had. The churro sandwich was good a little oily. Tres I would probably stick to costa Vida. The ambiance was amazing. I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned but they have a really cool fire show. That's all I'll say to maybe keep it a surprise. read more

Exotic and enticing for Riverton Utah but not quite worth the price. Las Botellas features a spicy, romantic, modern Spanish mood with classic Mexican dishes including enchiladas and tacos. The appetizers, food and cocktails were all very good but not "wow" for me. Our waitress messed up our drink order and forgot one of our side dishes. She also used top shelf tequila in our drinks without asking, ouch! She was new but it definitely brought down my overall impression of a restaurant that advertises an "experience." read more

Hubby and I absolutely loved it here! Let's start off with the decor though! You walk in and the place is just beautiful. Clean and inviting, whoever designed this place outdid themselves! The food was divine! We had the pork belly appetizer which I 100000% recommend, and the shrimp tacos & birria burger had every flavor you'd imagine and more! The service was bar none! Zee took care of us and was attentive, informative and overall friendly! She made great recommendations and made our night incredible! You have to come here! read more

Service was super attentive and we were seated quickly. We did have reservations on a busy Saturday night. The decor is pretty and very modern The dancers were sporadic and only came out twice during our stay. The "show" quality was lacking but also not why we came here. The food was excellent the cocktails were delicious as well. My only criticism is that the crispy burrito had too much rice and not enough meat for the price. All things considered we would come back for a special occasion. read more

I was so excited to finally try this place! The vibe and ambiance was so great! It feels like a restaurant in Cancun. Loved that!! Food was delicious!!! My salad w salmon was one of the best I've ever had! The churros were delicious, too!!! The guacamole was ok. I love guacamole and honestly was expecting better, especially for how much the guacamole is. The guacamole was not memorable for me like everything else there was. We went at 6:45 on a Wednesday night. I saw one dancer, but would've liked to have seen more. I will definitely go back! read more

Ambiance and experience was amazing. Nothing I can think of similar to this setting in the area. A little Entertainment along w dinner. Service was friendly, attentive without being over bearing. Food was really good. We had the salsa flight, hamachi crudo, filet, sea bass, & tres leche cake. The hamachi was delicious, but portion, especially considering price, doesn't make it worth it. If one or other was better, I would order it again. The filet was perfectly cooked and really good. I will say, it was much better once dipped in some of the leftover salsa verde from our appetizer! My husband got the sea bass, mostly because it was listed as a house fave. Surprisingly, it's the first sea bass we've disliked. Neither of us cared for it and we didn't even finish it. The tres leche was good, satisfied the craving, but I have had better. It was a little too dry on the top for a 3 milk cake. Price is the big part here. We spent a little over $200 for the 2 of us and I should add that we did also get 2 cocktails and 1 non alcohol drink, but still... I will be back to try a couple other things. read more

Ever since Las Botellas opened at MVV, it's been on my must-try list. Me and a group of friends came here for brunch around noon on a Sunday and to our surprise, it wasn't busy at all. I'm glad because we were able to take the time we wanted to enjoy our food and catch up. Some of my party did show up late and the wonderful servers and front desk employee were more than happy to accommodate us since they weren't busy. The interior is gorgeous and they have a patio area to the side that is also really nice! I can imagine it would be beautiful to dine outside in the spring and fall. They also have an area inside where they can seat a large party. It almost looks like a private glass room. Our server Shelby was a doll. She was patient, answered our questions on what she recommended, and was just all-around awesome. She even helped us split our birthday girl's check 4 different ways for us, which I feel like is an above and beyond request sometimes. I ordered the Churro Bites for the table and the girls and I loved it. They were the perfect little appetizer. Another appetizer I was thoroughly surprised by was the House Guacamole! I'm not a huge guac girly, but this was very good. It was creamy and flavored very well. For my entree, I ordered the Carne Asada Steak & Eggs, I'm not that big on sweets for brunch. I asked for the carne asada to be cooked to medium rare, but it looked a little rare. That is nothing I would complain about though because it was still delicious either way. The eggs were cooked perfectly for sunny side up. I think the potatoes could be seasoned a little better, but overall the dish was fine. I enjoyed it! I would love to come back for dinner time to see what the menu looks like and to try out the foods as well. Thank you Las Botellas! We had an amazing birthday brunch here. NOTE: There is plenty of parking in front of the restaurant and if you have a wait, there's so much to do around MVV. read more

It took us about 2 weeks in order to get a reservation, and it was after the performances so we didn't get to see much except one entertainer. We were seated right away at our 9:15PM reservation. First, the inside of the restaurant was definitely beautiful with music all around playing so it made it cool environment. We started off with our drink orders, it actually took about 45 minutes for our drinks to come out and we waited a while. Beautiful drinks, mine came out in a smoky box and the smoky flavor overpowered the taste of my drink. We started with queso and calamari for the appetizer and it came out in less than 5 minutes of ordering, so it made me think it was already pre made. It was interesting the queso came with a side of soft tortilla rather than chips because it made it too heavy to eat and got cold and hard quick. The calamari was okay, honestly it ate more batter than I did the calamari. Our dishes was the wagyu burger, and enchiladas. The wagyu burger came with like a cheese stuffed portabello mushroom so it was pretty heavy, but decent! The enchiladas definitely could of been kicked up a notch. I would say for the price of the food, it was not worth it. It's a fun place for the music, the entertainment. read more

Took my wife here for lunch. We got birria chilaquiles and cocktails. They were pretty good. Not the best we've ever had, but solid enough that we'd order them again. The wife and I like to split, so it was a really good portion size. Left full. Cocktails were pretty good too. They had the classics, but also unique ones I've never had before which was a treat. Great atmosphere. Service was friendly. Prices were outrageous!!! Felt like I should be eating at a Michelin star or celebrity restaurant for the cost, but I guess that's how it is at a lot of restaurants these days. Tl;dr if you want a Vegas-like restaurant experience and aren't too snobby about your food then Las Botellas is your spot. Las Botellas delivers on exactly what i think they wanted to be, nothing like what you typically find in Utah. It's big, loud, dark and flamboyantly decorated. You definitely forget you're in Riverton and feel like you're at a restaurant in a nice Las Vegas Casino. The vibe is definitely the highlight and the type of restaurant your wife or girlfriend would dressed up for to go out with her best Bs. I swear there were no less than five birthdays being celebrated during our dinner. The food was less memorable. Not bad, but not special. The chips and salsa were good enough, and my steak and chimichurri were actually really good but my side of vegetables were luke warm, the bean dip lacked flavor and the esquites were a solid B. There was a very awkward moment when they gave my wife the wrong dish and the waitress proceeded to debate with her that it was indeed the correct dish. Five minutes later the manager resolved the issue and took good care of us. read more

I came here for a cousin's birthday dinner and the vibe and ambiance of this restaurant made it so fun for a girls night out! The chips came out warm and the salsa had great flavor. I was feeling basic (and also on a budget) so I ordered the grilled chicken tacos but they had so many other options that looked great. It came with 3 tacos and a side of rice and beans which was a decent amount of food. The salsa verde was incredible and I poured it over everything. Not impressed. This location looks really really nice. On the inside it is very beautiful. Everything else did not impress me.. I originally decided on this location for a birthday dinner. I had made these plans at least three weeks in advance and even emailed and called the location multiple times. Once the party arrived, they tried to sit us at an incorrect table with only eight chairs, although we had reserved 12. The ladies who worked the front desk seemed so confused about the whole ordeal until I plainly explained it. I confirmed it was for birthday with the ladies at the front desk. If you spend over $50 worth of drinks, I was told that the birthday sign is included for free with a complementary dessert. However, I also offered to pay for that alone so that we can make sure everything was great. We received the check and still not had any request that was made to celebrate the birthday. I told them the name of the guest and they brought out the sign, It was absolutely the incorrect name, not at all what I had put in the reservation or told the waiter. To make light of it we all just left and called the guest the wrong name all night. Terrible for the birthday guest, I apologized all night. When they originally gave me my cocktail, the waiter asked if he could take it back because they had forgot to put the alcohol and the drink. That's why the level was so low. I am not sure if the waiter was overwhelmed or had too many tables at night I'm not writing to bash him in any way. The food was only OK in my opinion. It was hardly any flavor. I think they focus more on the appearance of the location rather than putting the money into everything else that goes on. There was no special show with fire on a Friday night from 7-9:30. So if you're looking for that experience, don't go during that time on Friday. read more

This place is just OK. It looks fancy and all and the atmosphere is nice. They serve rice and beans as sides and rice and beans cost $10-$15 per side Pretty uninspired menu items to be honest especially when those are the sides they provide. Most of the menu is very simple but high quality ingredients. But nothing creative. You can find the same menu at many restaurants across Utah for much less money. The tortillas are store bought. ( I asked the server) For a place claiming to be on the higher end, this is disappointing. The salsa is also lacking in salt/flavor and also tastes store bought. I had the carne asada plate and the meat was quite good tho, well cooked and seasoned/ tender. My wife had the birria tacos and they weren't anything special, you're probably better off going to Red Taco for that and for the fraction of the price. It's a dope place if you wanna impress friends and family but not if your family is Mexican, if you grew up in Utah this place will be fire for you and probably the best Mexican food you will ever have. Fun experience. Went for brunch with some family. We all sampled the French toast, burrito, and birria tacos. So to start, the place is fun we decided to sit outside and enjoyed the scenery and weather. Service is fine nothing amazing. Breakfast burrito was good (got the carne asada) glad there was a lot of meat - that was generous of them but barely any egg, not complaining though I'd personally rather have more carne ;) Also tried the Birria tacos. Birria and consume is better at other taco places but this is good nonetheless. While the French toast on the other hand... AMAZING. I'm not a sweets person but it was so creamy and slightly crisp with a blueberry puree and fresh cream. Insane! Need this everyday. Overall, be prepared to pay a little more for the environment that Utah tries to portray as a "Vegas" type of restaurant. I would be interested in going for dinner one day and trying that out! Such a swanky restaurant with dim lighting, cool music and beautiful decor. They really spared no detail in designing this place. The drinks are fantastic! The table side fire/smoke tricks was a fun experience We started with the queso which id give a 0/10. It was a thick cheese paste goop and came with tortillas instead of chips. The flavor wasnt great either. Dont get the queso Steak ALa Roca was so delicious. It comes out on a hot stone so the peppers and onions caramelized. The steak was so tender and seasoned well. Id come back for this dish alone The sea bass was cooked perfectly. It was so tender and buttery and the jalapeño sauce added a perfect hint of heat. What ever was put on top of the fish was awful. It looked like caviar but tasted rotten and burnt. I scooped it off just in case it was something expired. Tres leches cake was DELICIOUS. read more

This is pretty close to being a great place. The music is fun, the food was okay, but I feel like they don't have an actual identity. Like is it a club or a restaurant? Maybe move some tables and encourage dancing and stay open a little later if you're gonna blast dance music all night? Or up the ante on the food and make it a truly amazing dining experience. Our waiter was very blah, no personality, didn't smile at all, which really took away from the fun. Three of us got the beef tacos which were pretty tasty but not quite enough food. The coconut flan was delicious but a little too sweet. I guess Utah is Utah and it will never be a truly "las Vegas" experience unless you go to Las Vegas. The ladies walking around with the birthday signs is actually kind of annoying and feels tacky. They do that in nightclubs and it's usually fun in that atmosphere. Not here though. They change the music to something louder and more..Pitbull-ish...every time the birthday lady walked out which was jarring. Then the music goes back to whatever it was. read more

I first saw this restaurant on social media-videos of flaming drinks, fire dancers, gorgeous lighting and pretty people. It looked like a fun place to be, and I wanted to be there. It took awhile to get a reservation-lots of other people felt the way I did and wanted to be there too. The evening of our reservation, we arrived and were seated about 15 minutes after our reserved time. We, along with another party, awkwardly stood in the front entrance area waiting for a table. There might have been somewhere else to wait, but we were not pointed to go there. A few things I observed about this place: * Everyone-staff and guests-appear to have been hand selected from a casting call. This isn't the place to wear a t-shirt and jeans. Dress up. * It's LOUD. Don't come expecting to have a conversation with your friends unless you can speak above the music and chatter. * The food is fancy and plated well, although not the tastiest I've ever had. It was made for the pictures first, mouth second. * It's pricey. I don't mind paying a lot for a good meal, but I felt that it might be a little on the high end. Three of us got fish tacos and one got a burger. We also had two sides to share with the group. Everyone drank water. The bill was $145 before tip. * The bill can be paid at the table using Apple Pay. Sadly, mine was not setup properly (my bad) so the server took my card the old fashioned way. So, yeah, it's a vibe in itself. This isn't a place to come to just fill your belly. It's a whole experience-better suited to the hip and happening crowd, not the geriatric or minor crowd for sure. Will I go back? Yes. With different expectations and probably wearing a cocktail dress. read more

We came on a Monday night so the place was not real busy. They do a show but that didn't start until 6:45 so we missed that. We ordered the table side guacamole. It was rather bland but tasty. If you are looking for an unique dining option for date night, this is an experience for you! Everything from the Red Carpet entrance, to the engaging "at table presentations", to the fire breathing dancers..... it really does set itself a part from other high end restaurants. Customer Service is above and beyond, we literally had close to 10 different people check in at us. All roles played a part and you can see the staff has synergy from Server to Manager. Very friendly and welcoming. The food was great, but, with a caveat. Price! The quality is pretty good so it's somewhat understandable, but $20 for 3 street tacos is debatable. Chili Relleno the size of a Spring roll, $25. The 40oz tomahawk $205. My point, you should be prepared for higher end dining. I ordered the Wagyu Burger (I know, it's not traditional for advertised Mexican restaurant) but for price and serving, it was best. Absolutely delicious! Came with a chili relleno stuffed with cheese and a onion jam (pic included). We enjoyed the experience, but not as much in a rush to get back immediately. read more

They need better markings for the main entrance. This place is an experience and they don't recommend this for children under 12 as the entertainment and atmosphere is not conducive to children. Be sure to grab a reservation while you can! When we walked in we were greeted by a couple of risqué dressed dancers. Quite impressive that a restaurant had such a dramatic entrance. They weren't joking about an experience. We had a reservation and walked right in and were seated almost immediately. We were offered their salsa flight which included a cashew salsa, salsa verde, and a pineapple salsa. They all were amazing and tasted great. I also loved their chips, for me that makes or breaks chips and salsa. We tried the horchata and the cafe de olla. Horchata was super tasty and the cafe de olla was incredibly tasty. Mexican coffee, you can't go wrong. The Ensenada fish tacos were really good, a tad awkward to eat as the plate was tiny. Left no room for error. They are tacos, it gets messy okay? Enchiladas were spicy but had so much flavor. Very fresh and light. Not too heavy for Mexican, I'd you get my drift. Portions were not huge but not small. Now to dessert, we got coconut flan, churro ice cream sandwich and the buneulos. The star of these 3 was the churro ice cream sandwich. Now this isn't a Costco normal churro, this is a flaky donut like churro. You must try it. The flan was really good and the texture was perfect and the bunuelos were good. Sort of a hard to eat dessert as they are a bit crunchy and big. The atmosphere is the star here, everything is top notch and beautiful. So many design features, it's quite impressive. The music was a bit loud for my liking, I felt it could be a little quieter so you didn't have to yell across the table. The service was spectacular and the food came quickly. They had an option to can and pay, which i loved. Allowed me to use my Apple Pay and leave when i was ready instead of waiting for the waiter to come get my card and bring it back, all restaurants need this as an option. Overall I will highly recommend everyone come here and experience this awesome new gem to this end of the valley. read more

I was really excited to try this place after all the hype they've put out on social media. Food: The food tasted fine, it wasn't bad, but it wasn't exceptional. The portion sizes were very small when considering the price. We had the enchiladas (3) and the tacos (3) with the chips and salsa. Price: Here's where I get really hung up. The atmosphere is awesome. You walk in and it's like you are no longer in Riverton, Utah. But the price for our meager meal was $85. We paid $85 for 3 enchiladas, 3 tacos and chips. No drinks or anything else. If I'm spending $85 for two people, I shouldn't walk out hungry. I don't think I'll be going back anytime soon.
