Steak queso dip is a MUST ORDER get it with extra pita right from the start
Stef A.

Engine room was a pleasant surprise. We liked it way more than I was anticipating The good - Great location with a good amount of parking - Plenty of TVs so great for game days - the steak queso dip was PHENOMENAL. Seriously so freaking good. The meat was perfectly tender and the cheese wasnt too heavy - Prime rib was cooked perfectly and was seasoned really well. Really enjoyed the sides. - bison burger was super tasty. The meat was not dry at all and the fries were the right amount of crispy. The bad - service was super slow despite it not being busy at all - not enough pita bread for the dip, we asked our server if it was extra to get more and he said hed ask but kept forgetting - the portion sizes with the prime rib were tiny, particularly with the potatoes - we came in during the Oscars show and asked if they could put on subtitles and the manager said theyre not allowed to? Strange but okay - the decor doesnt really much the vibe of the restaurant if that makes sense. It seems like.its lacking an identity or trying to be too many things. From the outside I thought it was going to be a sports bar with good food but the inside appears more upscale? Were definitely coming back, everything on the menu looked delicious and im excited to come back and try new things

Steak Fundito - get it - trust us. Make sure you use whatever you have to soak up every last bit of that cheese mixture.

Engine Room is an absolute standout and easily one of the best bar/restaurant experiences I've had. From the moment you walk in, the industrial yet modern décor sets the tone--warm, stylish, and effortlessly cool. It's the kind of place that feels both elevated and welcoming at the same time. The food was phenomenal--thoughtfully prepared, packed with flavor, and clearly crafted with intention. Every bite felt dialed in. The drinks were just as impressive: spectacular cocktails made with true knowledge, balance, and passion. You can tell this isn't just pouring drinks--it's a craft. Ignacio behind the bar deserves special recognition. His skill, attention to detail, and genuine love for what he does elevate the entire experience. The manager was attentive, professional, and clearly takes pride in maintaining an exceptional standard, while the owners have created something truly special--a place where quality, atmosphere, and hospitality all come together seamlessly. The service here is unmatched. Even for being freshly opened. Everyone was friendly, confident, and on point without it ever feeling forced. Engine Room isn't just a place to eat or drink--it's an experience. Highly recommend and we will ABSOLUTELY be back.

House salad. Candied walnuts and thinly sliced apples on a spring mix. Light and tasty

This is a very sleek gastropub. They are brand new so we decided to try them out! We had the steak fundido small plate which was delicious. Enjoyed a raspberry Italian ice. It had real fruit it in and very little sugar. The house salad was delicious and crisp. Hubby had the salmon which he said was perfectly cooked and he is very picky about his salmon. The salmon was crusted with shredded potato and it worked! The side of vegetables was very generous and had a good seasoning on it not just salt and pepper. The focaccia bread was a real standout topped with chopped fresh herbs and freshly baked. It was freshly baked with pillowy texture. The service was extremely attentive and the owner even stopped by our table to enquire after our experience. My water cup was never less than half full. The ambiance is steam punk industrial vibe and you must visit the restrooms too.

Great place to go with friends. Food was amazing the drinks were great and the staff was wonderful. We will definitely go again.

Recalled parts cocktail

I had their gin cocktail "recalled parts" and it was incredible. Like beyond delicious. The staff is really friendly. I so badly want this place to succeed. It's our second time here. We'll be back!

I get their food almost everyday, you get great value for your money, you can tell that the cook has a passion for cooking this food. Every bite is better than the last. I work next door and they walk the food over to me everyday since I can't leave during my shift. The fast and friendly service at this place is outstanding.

Meaning there is literally no parking lot at all. You just have to get lucky and find something on the street. As far as the food goes, my family and I were not disappointed. All the burgers we got were excellent, and each had something that made them very different from traditional burgers. One weird thing was that their fries have been different each time we have gone. The first time they were just your basic fries. The next time we went, I ordered the same meal and got more "wedge like" fries. Both were good, but the second kind were far better. All the employees have been very friendly each time we have come, and the restaurant has always been clean. Something to be careful of are the prices. The burgers themselves aren't too bad, at $10-15 each, but just getting fries and drinks quickly balloons the cost Only reason I give 4 stars is that sometimes the food takes waaaay longer that it seems it should. Last time I went, there was only one group ahead of us, and we waited like 20 mins for our food to finally be ready.

The fresh beef flavor definitely was there. It wasn't overly greasy and the bun held up to the last bite. Top 5 burgers in the valley for me. The fries were sadly a miss for me though, I was really looking forward to the extra flavor tallow would have added. I'm a crunchy fry type of guy. I don't know if it was the 5 minute steam in the bag but the fries showed no evidence they were crispy. In the end, I wouldn't order again as the extra flavor isn't enough to get me past the limpy fries. Not a truck thing and It's a bit tougher in the winter but I wish ComCom would bring back the tables for onsite dining. I would have enjoyed it more if I could have ate it right there.

Super friendly, welcoming, and you can tell it's a true mom-and-pop spot that actually cares about what they're serving. Food was amazing across the board. If you're thinking about it just go. The staff member at the counter was very friendly and helpful. I split a double-double animal style with the squeeze. Due to all the fixings on the burger, maybe cutting one of these guys in half was probably not a good choice. That's okay, the burger was excellent and they way I remembered it. I had high hopes for locally brewed beer and Asian cuisine, but nothing really hit the mark. Beer was okay. Lukewarm, and decidedly not crispy nor refreshing. Our group was three and we tried a lot of the food on the menu and nothing really hit. The pickled cucumbers were good. The dumplings (which we were told by our server are handmade) were genuinely flavorless and the wrapper was way too thick and chewy. We tried the pork buns as well, same issue, a serious lack of flavor and seasoning. Pork belly entree was middling, just a flavor profile that didn't work. I had the fried chicken sandwich and it was fried crispy but the sauce and toppings were unmemorable and lacked any kind of punch or umami to speak of. It came with a side of food service fries, which were crispy but served with plain old ketchup. Oh by the way everything is expensive. Starters were $15+ and most entrees, including noodle soups were $20+ which is crazy. Cocktails were $18 and no wine pour less than $16. The only thing cheap is the beer which makes sense because it was mediocre at best. Server brought the check, said "no rush" and then we waited while he sat three tables, brought drinks for three tables and took two food orders. After 15 minutes I took the bill to the till and had him run it in front of me. I still tipped because I'm not that person. Not going back, there's better beer and Asian food elsewhere.

Going in, I was impressed by the story being told, with burgers that seemed to be top quality, made with a combination of Snake River Farms and ground chuck. The fries were lightly fried once in beef tallow, and then fried again when you order them, similar to Belgian style. Everything sounded like they were super thoughtful so I was looking forward to greatness. What I ended up with was, well, "good". This is of course, a bit subjective I guess but while the burger was decent and had a nice bit of pink inside, (also, shout out for the bun they used which was absolutely perfect to be honest), it tasted a bit dense and preformed, so biting into it gave you a bit of a "quarter pounder" taste instead of being super juicy and loose consistency, if that makes sense? The fries were fresh and tasty but perhaps a bit more limp and oily than I would have preferred, as if the oil temp was a bit low? Still, I'm nitpicking because it was still really good but if you're reading between the lines of my review, I think I was expecting something exceptional that you would want to drive out of your way for given the obvious attention to quality that they strive for, and ultimately realized that Just Burgers was, ummm, Just Fine.
