GREAT carne asada tacos, some of the very best I have tried in Utah!! The meat is high quality (none of the fatty/chewy parts) the tortillas are crispy (and greasy but good!). They have a few different salsa options. There wasn't a salsa that I absolutely loved, but they were good. The only other thing we tried was the Al Pastor taco and it is not my favorite AL pastor I have tried (it's very flavorful though). Others were saying they don't have many options, but it looks like they listened and now offer a kids meal and burritos and quesadillas. (I snapped a picture of the menu. These are one dollar, two bite tacos. Unfortunately, much more expensive. Flavor was good, but extremely underwhelming for the price (only reason for 3 stars)... if you don't care about money and want extra small tacos with hardly any meat, this is the place for you. For the price.. it's not worth a second try. Food was good but price is steep. The portions are tiny for what you pay for. There are tons of authentic taco joints around for much cheaper and you get more food. They also messed up my order and did nothing about it. Today was our first time trying this amazing place! The food was amazing 10/10, the meat was lean and not fatty which is a HUGE deal to us, I cannot stand eating tacos with fatty chewy pieces! Presentation of food was 9/10 but a 9/10 because it was just meat and tortilla but then I realized they had there salsas bar and their creamy cilantro sauce was to die for! GO EAT HERE!!!! Now here's for the harsh part, the menu options were small, they have no burritos, no kids menu, and only soda options! They don't have juices for children or any other drinks like horchata or any other choices but soda beverages which was a disappointment (we don't drink soda and don't allow our child to either) They should have some options for a kids menu, taco with rice/beans, quesadilla with rice/bean, bean and cheese burrito with rice/beans We love a good loaded burrito with meat, cheese, sour cream, cilantro, Avocado, tomato's, onions, rice, beans, lettuce, or even make it California style and add some fries etc. (maybe some breakfast burritos in the future) haha! The nachos we got on the combo were insanely plain, cheese and chips -__- I'm hoping the nachos on the combo had no verity or color to it? Meat? White queso? I have been here a handful of times and they DO NOT MISS. This is one of the most underrated taco spots in all of Utah. I am always on the lookout for authentic tacos and Taco Mania does it right. Their meat is so flavorful and I am never disappointed. The service is always extremely friendly and extremely fast. I like the vibe of the place, it resembles the smaller taco stands in TJ (Tijuana) and the flavor is right there as well. 11/10, you should definitely give it a shot! read more

their tacos come with only meat and they do not have any sides like pico de gallo or cabbage or any additional taco toppings. I don't really understand the 5 star reviews. The carne asada didn't taste like carne asada. Maybe it was the marinade or the way it was cooked--but it was more like a shredded beef. Ok. Listen. When it comes tacos, there's no shortage of places in Utah especially on the west side of the valley. But this place is as good as any and better than most. Birria and Al pastor and their specialty but it's all good. Truly good Birria doesn't need the dipping broth, and this Birria is so so good. Holy crap. This place was not like anything I expected. It's amazing. I got 4 tacos to try different flavors. Al pastor, brisket (sudadero), chicken, and birria. Every single one was amazing! I was excited to try this place. I ordered 3 cheesy flour tacos, and tried the al pastor pork, the chipotle chicken, and the beef brisket. There was a good amount of meat on each taco and I have to say that the chicken was my favorite because I felt that the flavor went the best with the orange sauce (which is delicious but also spicy). I thought the brisket was the least flavorful of the three meats that I chose. I know food prices are high right now but I wish the prices per taco were just a little bit lower. The food was tasty but it wasn't the best taco that I have ever had. Then again, I did come hungry and I left feeling satisfied after what I ordered. The staff were friendly and helpful. Don't forget to give a small tip because they bring you your food (at least they did for me).
