Wow!! Came here on a Saturday evening and was very impressed. The service was good and the restaurant itself was very clean and felt more upscale compared to the order and sit down (fast casual) concept. The food came out very quickly as well. We started with the Caesar salad which was very fresh. The lettuce was nice and crispy, the dressing tasted homemade, and the seasoning was really good. The Parmesan cheese looked as if it was freshly grated as well. My pasta was delicious and full of so much flavor. It came with a brandy sauce that was rich and smooth. It was delicious and went along great with the chicken, peppers, and onion in my pasta. It didn't feel like a super heavy dish. My husband ordered a pasta with a cream sauce that was more rich and heavy but still had a delicious flavor. It really just depends on what kind of pasta you want. Each dish came with warm bread that was delicious! Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The noodles on both dishes were cooked perfectly as well. They have so many options - not just pasta. Major drop off in service since my last review. We were treated like garbage because we sat in the only table that wasn't in direct view of the sun at 6:30 pm. It happened to for groups of 8 and we only had six. No one ever sat at that table or the other large table. It cost them a loyal customer and a five star review. The atmosphere gives off a fast food joint but the prices don't. My wife ordered the carbonara and specifically asked the young man taking our order if the "cream sauce" was the traditional egg sauce you would normally get with carbonara. The young man went to the back to ask the cook and the cook told him it was. Based on the info my wife ordered it. I ordered the chicken Parmesan. About 10 minutes later our food arrived with a basket of bread. The carbonara was not carbonara. Instead it was a chicken Alfredo served on penne pasta. My wife asked why there was chicken and not prosciutto. The cook said they ran out and they substitute chicken instead. Uuummm, yah that doesn't work. So that cook has no idea what Italian cooking is. My chicken Parmesan was average. The breaded chicken seemed like it was store bought frozen and reconstituted for the meal. By doing this, the chicken dries out and yes mine was dry. It is unfortunate because we really wanted it to be good. I do not write this to bash the restaurant. I write this so they can see that their cost saving methods and overpriced menu is not working. When someone comes to your restaurant that knows what real Italian food is, you should expect to get poor reviews if this is what you are going to serve. I will end this in a good note. The staff in the front was very kind and polite and the dining area was setup nice and clean. If the owner reads this, please look into hiring someone who truly knows what Italian cooking should be like. read more

This was our first time eating here. We were expecting a more "fast food" experience. And it was, sort of. You order at the counter and sit down. Then they bring it out when it's ready. But it felt like a really nice restaurant. It was nice inside. Comfortable seating. Decorated really nice. There were so many choices of food that we had a hard time deciding. We asked the cute girl at the register was she recommended. She had some great recommendations. We ended up with a Panini sandwich, carbonara, and manicotti with a side of grilled chicken. We thought of this place as somewhere to order DoorDash from. It looked good from the outside, so we went in. It was a solid fast casual place. The quality plates and silverware make this a step up. My first visit to Di Napoli was fantastic. The fettuccine alfredo with chicken was full of flavor, the pasta was perfectly al dente, and it felt like a spot I'd want to come back to often. Since then, I've ordered the same dish on two more visits, and while it's still cooked well, the flavor just hasn't been as strong as that first time. It's not bad by any means, just more middle-of-the-road. Service, atmosphere, and vibe have stayed consistently good. The staff is friendly, the space is cozy and modern with great natural light, and it's always clean. Pricing is fair, though a little high for the level of quality I've had on the more recent visits. This casual Italian restaurant is a great place to get authentic dish quickly. You order at the counter and then sit where ever you want. You get your own drinks and silverware. We went on a busy Friday. The line went fast and there are plenty of staff to help distribute the dishes quickly. For those of you that have a gluten sensitivity like me, they have gluten free pasta and I was told that they use European flour for their fresh pasta and bread. Do NOT try to get catering with them. After a full email conversation confirming our catering inquiry for our wedding and a phone call with the Orem location to double-check, they ended up placing the order at the wrong location and left me without food for my wedding. I should have seen the red flags from their lack of responsiveness and very short and curt responses to my initial email thread. It seemed very unprofessional, but I ignored it due to the reasonable price. I even called the Orem location to reconfirm the order (since the emails weren't making me feel confident and the order was for a Sunday), and after some call backs, they confirmed the order with their upper management and assured me they will "definitely have my order made for such a special day." When my family went to pick up the order the day of my wedding, no one was at the Orem location. My family tried calling and no answer. When they sent an email, they got a reply like 30 minutes later saying they accidentally made the order at the wrong location, but that they could still make it and drop it off if needed, even though dinner for my guests was already supposed to be taking place. We didn't even bother with them after that point since they were no longer reliable. They put me in the worst position due to their inattentiveness and lack of care. Now usually, I love this place. But tonight I ordered lasagne from door dash. I've had it in store several times. But what I was sent was not even close to what I've eaten before. Why is it that restaurants decide they don't need to serve their best when having it delivered? My dinner was on the verge of inedible. Almost as if it wasn't even the same restaurant. Super upsetting. I will also say that the bread they serve with their dinners, has taken a pretty big nose dive since I first started coming here about two months ago. No idea what is happening. The owners/managers (son/dad) were great. They were helpful, friendly and very open regarding the food, choices, how things were prepared, etc. In the end, our meals were awesome! Without exaggeration, the two Past Carbonara and the Chicken Parmigiana were both some of the best Italian food I have ever eaten-- outside of Rome, Italy and NY/NJ (where I'm from).
