I've had way too many mediocre Mac and cheese experiences to get my hopes up. Right off the bat I was impressed with the cheese options. Then I picked toppings and I was salivating. Don't even get me started on the drizzle. DELISH. The atmosphere is super cool. My only complaint would be that there was minimal seating so we got our food to go. The food itself was SO YUMMY. We tried each of the sauce options (Alfredo, Cheddar, and Pepper Jack) so we could try them all! Then the food disappeared - I literally have no idea what happened. Saw this place on tiktok and it looked very good. Turns out it was not. My date got the plain mac and cheese with cheddar and I got the cheddar Mac with ham and barbecue. It was expensive especially with the for how mediocre the food was. Everything was extremely dirty too. They lacked adequate seating. I cannot say anything about the service since everything is done electronically with zero staff interaction. Ive been excited to go here for awhile but I will never be returning or recommending to anyone read more

Food was great! Tasted amazing. We had a pretty big order and the only "mess up" was the sauces on our 2 grilled cheeses, they accidentally swapped the sauce. We explained that and they very quickly remade the sandwiches. We're not from Provo we're out of Wyoming and the drive was definitely worth it. Only down side I had that is a me problem is my truck is too big for the parking spaces and all the lots around the store is BYU only. Customer service was not the best. They did not acknowledge us at all until we left and we were the only people inside at the time. Our orders got messed up and one of the employees were on the phone the whole time and that's where our orders got messed up. The other two just ignored us. We drove a long way just to get the wrong orders- one of us is a type one diabetic and they measured and took the insulin they needed but they had to use two more units of insulin to balance out this mess up it's not a big deal now but it can be in the future. I am a huge fan favorite of Roni's, and I love the idea and dream the CEO Frank has for the company, I don't however see that being portrayed properly through the customer service delivered here at the Provo location. I personally love the food and the idea behind a MAC bar, but it needs to be more welcoming and inviting. I sat in the location for over an hour while doing some work and saw several people come in, some individuals some larger parties, and not one of them was greeted with a simple, "welcome in!" The only contact I, and everyone else that came in while i was there, from the workers was calling their name when their order was up. No words other than thier name. One of the reasons, if not THE reason, Roni's was such a big hit was because of the viral tiktok of those guys from Provo saying how much this town would 'eat' up the idea over here. WHICH WE DO! But the staff do not give off a warm welcome, or any welcome at all. And it can get super awkward when you're standing at the kiosks typing in your order and the employees are just on the other side of the clear glass too engulfed in their own conversation amongst themselves to acknowledge or engage with the customers. A simple "hello, welcome in!" goes a LONG way, i hope to be greeted and maybe have a quick conversation the next time I come in. It'll help GREATLY with the current public image of Roni's. read more
