The owner called me. He made things right and we will be back. Our over done pizza issues stemmed from new employees and since the review they have had extensive retraining on the making and baking. My family really liked this place before and we will again. As many times as family members have eaten here we will not let one experience taint future visits, especially since they made the adjustments to get things back up to where they were previously. Give this place a visit. It is good pizza. read more

I've been so curious to see why this place had such high reviews so I took some time to go with my wife and see what the food was like Food: I got the margarita pizza and it was fantastic. MOZZ is known for sourdough pizza so I was curious to see how sourdoughs natural acidity would impact the flavor. The sauce was fantastic and it would actually caramelize lightly to create a sweeter and unique taste which compliments the dish heavily. The crust was great, a little thin for me which affected the structure throughout the process of eating the pizza. Towards the end it got pretty floppy but the taste was nearly perfect. I would have preferred a touch more basil to help with the taste even more. The cheese proportions were perfect as well and it felt very intentional to the flavor when you got some cheese in your bite. I rate this pizza a 9.1/10. The cookie was also perfect, 10/10. The only thing that would make this a 5 star review is a bit thicker of crust and a touch more basil on the pizza. Service was good, the place has very unique art and atmosphere. There's so much color and style, atmosphere is a 10/10. Location is very convenient and consistent, parking is also very easy as well. We will be coming back. read more

Good pizza! Very fresh & homemade flavors. Wish the margarita pizza had significantly more cheese. Mild sourdough flavor on the crust which i appreciated. Very strong blackened brick oven taste on the crust- too much in my opinion. Almost tasted burnt. Was it worth $16-17 per pizza? Not in my opinion. It wasn't anything to write home about. Probably the closest you'll get to a European pizza in Utah county though. My husband got the meat pizza and wasn't a fan. He hated the crust and said the flavors were bland. It was a cute restaurant & ambiance. Kind service too! I felt a little ripped off though as Mod or Blaze pizza give you more bang for your buck with toppings and flavors for a brick oven pizza. read more

Been meaning to try this place and I'm so glad we finally got to! Ordered a Margherita and a pepperoni pizza. They were both great, and I really liked the flavor of the sauce in my Margherita one. Pepperoni was slightly stronger tasting in a way I didn't love so I would probably avoid ordering that one again for me, but overall they were both great. My biggest complaints are that they pizzas are too expensive for how big they are, they only carry weird organic soda drinks (though the orange one I tried was pretty good!) and I cannot comprehend charging $4 for cookie dough you can't even eat raw. The profit margins on that are probably through the roof. I recommend to at least try once. read more

Artisan wood fired pizzas .. this could be Pizza Heaven! Our goal was simple: A quick lunch in Provo en route to the National Parks .. the result was a euphoric pizza outing! A high-hanging Mozz street sign punctuates the streetscape of N. University Avenue and is a harbinger of culinary delight. Inside, a crisp white interior with a long community table inspire curiosity. The ordering queue tells their story and invites you to learn about Mozz's story: An amazing sourdough starter along with flour, salt and water yield pizza happiness. Wood fired pizzas, great crust and flavors, meat toppings and plenty of vegetables make for a memorable experience. read more

An artisan restaurant that doesn't feel snooty or expensive! Lots of cool specialty pie options, I went pretty basic. No regrets though, the pizza was fantastic! The pepperoni and sausage both had a rich and unique flavor. The cheese was nice and stretchy, and the crust was the perfect combination of crispy and fluffy. read more

I think I'm in love... Ordered a margarita, mushroom, and peach pizzas. The pizzas were freshly made onsite and it was incredible watching the staff tossing the dough in the air. It didn't only look good, but the pizzas tasted incredible and the restaurant was comfortable. Mozz was truly worth the visit! read more

Artisan pizza craving satisfied!!! Saw the good reviews on Yelp and stopped by for dinner and was not disappointed. Beautiful interior with fancy lights and hardwood floors. Bathroom was even super cute! Ordered a margarita pizza and a mushroom and sausage pizza. Both were delicious! Wife ordered a half mixed salad and really enjoyed it. This location is on a busy street with no parking and the EDGES of the pizza crust were TOO THICK. That was my only complaint. Great spot for quality pizza! read more

All I had was the cheese bread but it was amazing. Pieces of whole roasted garlic, deliciously salty and balanced cheese, and the dough was perfection- chewy and soft, just enough char. My only criticism is they were stingy on the sauce cup- it was so good but about 1/5 of the cup full. It was very clean in there, vibes were perfect, and my food came out quick. The cashier was super friendly, the drink selection and deserts looked awesome. I'll definitely be back when I can afford a whole pie. Thank you guys for doing it the sourdough way. read more

The cutest and best pizza in Utah County! They are all about local ingredients and whole food when possible. We popped into the restaurant at an odd hour and it was completely empty, service was polite and fast. The chicken pizza on the sourdough crust was phenomenal! Toppings ratio could use some work because a couple slices didn't have as much veggies and chicken but minor critique. Worth checking out! read more

Thursday. June 5, 2025. Dinner. I was in Provo, Utah, for a work conference. Decided on MOZZ since I viewed a lot of favorable Yelp reviews for them. Ordered the bacon pizza online, which came with bacon, tomato sauce, calabrese salame, mozzarella, and pepperoncini for $17. I added mushrooms and Italian sausage to this ($3.50 upcharge). I walked to their establishment since my hotel was nearby. They have a great selection of organic soft drinks. The restaurant had lots of customers and I waited about 5 minutes for my pizza since I was early. I really enjoyed the sourdough crust with the charring. However, they really skimped on toppings. I barely had any bacon or Italian sausage. The 12" pizza left me wanting more since I was still hungry. Wish they had a larger size. For me, overall, just an average pie that I wish had more toppings! read more

MOZZ Artisan Pizza in Provo offers a warm, inviting atmosphere with distinctive decor. Their pizza crust is quite chewy, which isn't my preference, but the toppings were flavorful. I found the Tractor Sodas to have unusual tastes, and after sampling several flavors, I didn't find one I enjoyed. The real highlight for me was their sea salt chocolate chip cookies - which were tasty! Service was friendly, and the wait for our pizzas was reasonable. read more

I had wanted to try this place for a while. The pizza was very good. My husband ordered the meat pizza and I ordered the Margherita pizza. We loved them. We came on a Friday night and it was busy. It's a smaller place with not as many tables. We ended up waiting about 50 minutes for our 2 pizzas. They weren't understaffed or anything. They had a lot of employees. It was frustrating waiting for that long because we had our 2 year old and she is very active and she was running around and had a hard time waiting. I get it was a Friday night and busy but 50 or so minutes is ridiculous for 2 pizzas. They would bring out a pizza to a table and then it would be a good while until they brought out another. It was ridiculous. We enjoyed the food but our first experience wasn't that great because of the wait. read more

I loved this pizza! It does taste more high-end than a normal pizza place. You walk up to the cash register, order what you want, and choose your seat. They have a fun selection of drinks and the pizzas come out quickly. The service was excellent! Although this is not a traditional restaurant where they take your order at the table, the server still checked up on us and made sure we had everything we needed. The ambience is definitely more casual, targeting a college age group. While families can come here, I anticipate at this place will get crowded in the evening. Can also accommodate multiple sized parties because you can push tables together. read more

It's unfortunate that I had to rate this place so low. The Margherita pizza was delicious, however when eating a pizza that is comforting, warm, and delicious you must always drink it with a coke. There is no better duo. To my surprise when I walked in I didn't see any coca-cola. There was Diet Coke which doesn't do the trick. Then I saw there were these organic nasty drinks Available. A knock off healthy version of coke. It was the nastiest thing I have ever tasted. How could a drink this offensive pair up with such a wonderful pizza. It made no sense. I'm not surprised if people skip out on this pizza place due to the fact that there is no coke available. I won't be back until coke is available for purchase there. One of the biggest mistakes I've seen a business do. Please update me when there is REAL COKE. read more

MOZZ is delicious! First time here tonight and now we know what we have been missing out on! The restaurant is clean, welcoming, and the service is great. The Caesar salad was light and refreshing. The garlic cheese bread was absolutely delicious and a must try. It had so much flavor and the marinara dipping sauce was perfect. The quality of the dough is some of the best I've had in Utah. The Sopressa pizza was light and flavorful. The flavors complemented each other perfectly! The quality is something you can taste in every single bite. I look forward to my next visit. I was very impressed. read more

My family and I will 100% return. We walked in and it was fairly busy, but in a good way. The vibe was awesome and vintage, and there were plenty of seating options, even when its busy. Its good serving sizes to share, and super flavorful. I will definitely be recommending and returning! read more

Legitimately one of the best pizza spots in Utah. Back in 2020, it made the "top 100 places to try" list. For a reason! I got the Serrano pizza. Excellent mixture of cheese, garlic, sause, and salami. It was so freaking incredible I wanted another one for a midnight snack. I took my dad here and he couldn't believe how tasty it was. He's one of those dudes who just sticks to your basic papa johns/murphys/dominos, etc. haha. He was floored. I will DEFINITELY be coming back more. And I will continue to recommend this place to everyone who comes to Utah. It's right up there with Settebellos! read more

Mozz is so yummy but overpriced for pizza in my opinion. If you're okay spending the extra it is well worth a try.

Mozz pizza is top of the line gourmet thin crust pizza. We loved everything we tried. They have seasonal options + dairy free options which tells me that they're keeping up with the times. The drink options are delicious and unique - we tried every flavor of the specialty soda they offer and we enjoyed them all! The ambiance is eclectic, warm, and fun. This is a great spot for a date night or a meal with friends. The wait on the food was reasonable with the place being packed and the cashier was kind and informative. I almost drove away when I couldn't find parking but then finally found something around the block and I'm glad I didn't give up! The restaurant was warm and inviting and clean. I even took a pic of the bathroom bc it was so cute. I ordered a gluten free white pizza. I was bummed when I saw it ring up as cauliflower crust but it was actually amazing. I was so impressed with the softness and it even had bubbles in it! And who knew ricotta and lemon zest went together in a savory dish so well. Also shout out to the blonde order taker. I'd just dropped my kids with their grandparents and was feeling lonely and she not only talked to me at the register but asked a follow up question later when I was sitting alone in the corner with my book. It was touching! Thank you! read more

We stumbled in here by accident. We tried to get into a few restaurants close by but they were full, but we were SO glad we came here because this pizza is so good!! We ordered, Serrano and honey pizza - this was our favorite, such a yummy balance of the spicy and sweet combo, get it! Meat pizza - very good, the boys especially loved this one! Sweet corn pizza - to all of our surprise we loved this one, the sweet corn with the goat cheese, so delicious! Suprema pizza - another great one with that house made sausage!! Cauliflower- probably our least favorite, but still good, it just needed a little more depth of flavor, a little bland. You should absolutely try this pizza, and I will absolutely be back for more! read more
