I've been so curious to see why this place had such high reviews so I took some time to go with my wife and see what the food was like Food: I got the margarita pizza and it was fantastic. MOZZ is known for sourdough pizza so I was curious to see how sourdoughs natural acidity would impact the flavor. The sauce was fantastic and it would actually caramelize lightly to create a sweeter and unique taste which compliments the dish heavily. The crust was great, a little thin for me which affected the structure throughout the process of eating the pizza. Towards the end it got pretty floppy but the taste was nearly perfect. I would have preferred a touch more basil to help with the taste even more. The cheese proportions were perfect as well and it felt very intentional to the flavor when you got some cheese in your bite. I rate this pizza a 9.1/10. The cookie was also perfect, 10/10. The only thing that would make this a 5 star review is a bit thicker of crust and a touch more basil on the pizza. Service was good, the place has very unique art and atmosphere. There's so much color and style, atmosphere is a 10/10. Location is very convenient and consistent, parking is also very easy as well. We will be coming back.

Artisan wood fired pizzas .. this could be Pizza Heaven! Our goal was simple: A quick lunch in Provo en route to the National Parks .. the result was a euphoric pizza outing! A high-hanging Mozz street sign punctuates the streetscape of N. University Avenue and is a harbinger of culinary delight. Inside, a crisp white interior with a long community table inspire curiosity. The ordering queue tells their story and invites you to learn about Mozz's story: An amazing sourdough starter along with flour, salt and water yield pizza happiness. Wood fired pizzas, great crust and flavors, meat toppings and plenty of vegetables make for a memorable experience.

An artisan restaurant that doesn't feel snooty or expensive! Lots of cool specialty pie options, I went pretty basic. No regrets though, the pizza was fantastic! The pepperoni and sausage both had a rich and unique flavor. The cheese was nice and stretchy, and the crust was the perfect combination of crispy and fluffy.

Everything is good about this place. The garlic bread is amazing. The pizza is good. Service was extra. Interesting variety of drinks. Quick and efficient service. Cloth napkins are a nice touch.

Artisan pizza craving satisfied!!! Saw the good reviews on Yelp and stopped by for dinner and was not disappointed. Beautiful interior with fancy lights and hardwood floors. Bathroom was even super cute! Ordered a margarita pizza and a mushroom and sausage pizza. Both were delicious! Wife ordered a half mixed salad and really enjoyed it. This location is on a busy street with no parking and the EDGES of the pizza crust were TOO THICK. That was my only complaint. Great spot for quality pizza!

All I had was the cheese bread but it was amazing. Pieces of whole roasted garlic, deliciously salty and balanced cheese, and the dough was perfection- chewy and soft, just enough char. My only criticism is they were stingy on the sauce cup- it was so good but about 1/5 of the cup full. It was very clean in there, vibes were perfect, and my food came out quick. The cashier was super friendly, the drink selection and deserts looked awesome. I'll definitely be back when I can afford a whole pie. Thank you guys for doing it the sourdough way.

So yummy!! All fresh ingredients and excellent customer service. Cutest little Pizza place in Provo.

Pizza was baked perfectly. They do use fresh ingredients you can taste. Highly recommend getting a side if olive oil or balsamic to drip the crust in. Service was okay. Wait time: about 20 min. The house made soda was better than expected.

I had wanted to try this place for a while. The pizza was very good. My husband ordered the meat pizza and I ordered the Margherita pizza. We loved them. We came on a Friday night and it was busy. It's a smaller place with not as many tables. We ended up waiting about 50 minutes for our 2 pizzas. They weren't understaffed or anything. They had a lot of employees. It was frustrating waiting for that long because we had our 2 year old and she is very active and she was running around and had a hard time waiting. I get it was a Friday night and busy but 50 or so minutes is ridiculous for 2 pizzas. They would bring out a pizza to a table and then it would be a good while until they brought out another. It was ridiculous. We enjoyed the food but our first experience wasn't that great because of the wait.

The jalapeño ranch brings just enough heat to keep things interesting without overpowering the brightness of the mango or the creaminess of the avocado. It's a well-composed dish, and easily the best thing I have eaten so far during an entire week in Utah. The sweet potato fries matched it: crispy outside, soft inside, the kind of side you keep reaching for without meaning to. Service was fast, atmosphere rustic and clean. No ceremony, no friction. I am already rearranging my remaining days in Provo to fit in one more visit before leaving the state.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was beyond disappointing…read more My husband picked up dinner for us tonight, and it was one of the biggest wastes of money I've ever spent on takeout. We ordered a large sweet potato fry to share, and the container was only filled about halfway. I also ordered the beet salad with extra red beets, extra gold beets, and extra goat cheese. We were charged an additional $1.50 for each add-on, yet my salad arrived with zero goat cheese, only four tiny slices of red beets, and five tiny slices of gold beets. Cubby's has always been notoriously stingy with the beets, which is exactly why I paid extra for additional toppings. Instead, I ended up with even less than the standard portion. In the end, I paid $18 for what was essentially a bowl of spring mix with two slices of avocado, three orange segments, no goat cheese, and nine paper-thin slices of beets. That's unacceptable. To make matters worse, we tried calling to speak with a manager, but the phones were turned off at 8:15 p.m., even though the restaurant advertises that it's open until 9:00 p.m. This was the last straw with Cubby's. The night shift clearly needs better training and quality control. Charging customers for extras and then not including them is not okay. If you want to waste your money on food that is carelessly prepared and doesn't match what you paid for, this is a great place to go.

However, we did have one drink server where we had some issues with, but our main waitress was lovely. For starters, our table shared the baked ricotta, balsamic glazed brussel sprouts, and bread rolls with honey and butter. The brussel sprouts were good, but the bread rolls were my favorite! They were so incredibly soft and pillowy. They honestly didn't even need the bread and butter! I was most excited for the baked ricotta, but unfortunately it was a disappointment for me. Ricotta is a very mild cheese to begin with, but I tasted absolutely zero flavor from it and it was mostly just adding a textural element to the bread. The fig walnut guanciale jam was overpoweringly sweet and the guanciale was also nonexistent. Overall, what I expected to be a flavorful combination, fell pretty flat and bland for me. Onto the main, I got to try the Block burger and the house made gnocchi. The burger was a standard burger, nothing too crazy. I was surprised the patty was actually moist because it was cooked well done. The same jam from the baked ricotta was used, so wasn't a big fan of it because again the overwhelmingly sweet didn't do much to elevate the burger. I also missed any flavor from the truffle cheese sauce. So it was a pretty average burger. My gnocchi definitely tasted better than it looked. Another friend also got the same dish and it looked like they just split our portions in half and served it on two separate plates. In general, I wasn't a big fan of this dish. The braised short rib was very tender, but the whole plate sat in a pool of salty sauce. I couldn't really make out any other flavors. The scoop of crème fraiche tasted exactly like sour cream and was not the consistency that I expected. The gnocchi's were made well, but I prefer mine a little firmer. However, this is complete personal preference. Overall, service was good, but food fell severely short of what I expected. I was so excited for all of these elevated flavors and ingredients, but, sadly, none of them came through.
