I normally really love this location and come here with my brother, since he's just down the street in Grandview. Normally everyone is super nice, but today there were three associates. One male and two female and I felt so uncomfortable. No one acknowledged me, so I said, I guess you want me here?" Then they said, "she'll get you there." So, I moved back to the register, I look over and they exchange a look like eye rolls and a grin. The male saw me look over and made some namaste gesture to the other person mocking me. So I asked if they were ok. They said they were, then looked at each other again. Same look. I started to order (I'd been craving this sandwich) then I just said I didn't want to order here and I'll just go to the other location in Provo. I read so many great reviews about this place, so decided to check it out. The place looked little old fashioned and not very clean. However, the place was packed! We went during the lunch hour, they had a long line. So that means their food must be good, otherwise so many people won't line up and wait, right?? The staff were super nice and efficient as the line actually moved pretty fast! I ordered the Succulent Seafood Delight which is supposed to come with "Crab and assorted seafood with your choice of cheese." I also asked for all the condiments/garnishes (like pickles, onion, lettuce, tomato, etc.) in my sandwich. When the sandwich came, I was very disappointed! First of all, as soon as I unwrapped my sandwich I noticed the bread was absolutely falling apart....it was no longer a sandwich, more like bread pieces in salad pool! When I started eating it, 1/3 of the way I realized there were only 2 small size crab sticks (that tasted and look like imitation crab) underneath all the lettuce, tomatoes, etc. and nothing else! From their name, the Seafood Delight, I was at least expecting shrimp and crab...but there were only 2 tiny pieces of crab sticks. So, unfortunately for me it felt like this place is all hyped and overpriced. Don't think I'll go back. Sorry! read more

What a fun find. This is what I count on Yelp for. Honest reviews. We had the 8" pastrami and Stimulator sandwiches. Super soft hoagie buns that we were told are baked daily. Delicious sandwiches. Friendly staff. When we paid I asked where I tip them and they said no need they are well taken care of. Okay, I would come here again and again just knowing that. They have a wall of fame where if you can eat a 24"(!) sandwich in 30 minutes you get a free TShirt and when you come back if you have it with you, you get a free medium drink. I ordered all the veggies and they were very fresh. The ham and roast beef were your standard run of the mill quality. However, I found the turkey to be off in texture and flavor. It seems like a lot of the people there are die-hard fans who have been going there often and have their go-to orders. The inside kind of reminds me of like a mom and pop type of setting and they have a lot of comics you can read on every table. You could come here many times and sit at a different table each time and always have different ones to read. The sandwich I got tasted great and was full of decent flavors. The bread is great also but it was falling apart or almost non-existent towards the end. I like to feel like it's still a sandwich with the last bite and this bread didn't quite hold up to that. Not a bad spot if you're close to the convention center and looking for a sandwich. They tend to come out rather "wet" and kinda fall apart, so I would recommend asking for them to go a little light on the liquid? Overall, not a bad sandwich, and the veggies are crisp and fresh, and the meat portion is quote a bit better than say a Subway or other comparable place. Where they miss for me is on the bread. They only have the single option, which seems to be a rather cheap white bread bun, and really no options for try ing anything else. It would be nice if they expanded this, as well as had some pictures or something to help with the decision making on which sandwich to try. read more

I can't understand how this place has good ratings or is popular. The bread is way too soft, seems underdone and falls apart. The deli meats were wet and slimy making the sandwich soggy and producing a very unpleasant bite of sandwich. The staff were friendly and prompt to take and prepare my order. So kudos to them. But the food being put out for consumption from here is plain awful. Stick with Jimmy John's or jersey mikes for deli sandwiches. This place is gross. read more

This place has been in Provo for years and when a couple of friends wanted a straight forward sandwich, we headed here for a quick meal. A very friendly staff, who unfortunately got our order wrong and had to remake one of the sandwiches...it happens. But it was dark with quickly. The bread kinda of falls apart and was the weakest part of the sandwich ensemble. Everything else was fairly straight forward, no nonsense goodness . Kinda matched the decor, kind of old school. Sensuous Sandwich, I've missed you. I used to work in Orem, with a Sensuous Sandwich just down the street. Then we moved the office to Lehi, a destination filled with chains. We've got 3 different, mediocre sandwich chains at point of the mountain now. I'd gladly trade all 3 of them for a Sensuous Sandwich. We came in with a hunger around 3PM. I went with my go to, The Tantalizer. Roast Beef, Pastrami, Turkey and Jack cheese. I put some lettuce, pickles, olives, banana peppers and a few sauces on it. Paid, picked up my small (baby small) drink, and took a booth. The booths are great, each one has different comics under the glass to read. It gives the place a unique charm. The food came out quick and I took a bite. Every ingredient here feels so good...it just makes you wonder what the other guys are using. Every bite is juicy, fresh, and just pure happiness. On top of that, it's so much more filling than the other guys. They LOAD your sandwich with everything you ordered. An 8 inch here fills me up much more than the footlong sizes at other restaurants. The prices are reasonable too. Overall it's just a great sandwich. I would go as far to say it's the best sandwich. Ever. I can't think of a better sandwich. However, my family and I LOVE this place and eat here every single time we are in the area. They sell sandwiches by the inch and load on the meat-- so yummy!
