I've been super happy with this Rick's Cleaners location. I took all of my winter sweaters in one at a time for an end of season cleaning. I was very happy with the results. The lady who is always there is so pleasant and helpful. Little hint: check in on YELP when you arrive and sometimes you get a coupon! My neighborhood go to!

They lost my shirt. When I said that there is a shirt missing, the lady was rude. Said that those are all the shirts you dropped off. Luckily I had the receipt. So I showed her. She then said that she miscalculated when I dropped off the shirts. I complained using their website. Emailed all the receipts. They got back after 3 days and said the employee miscalculated. Oh well, what can you do except taking your business somewhere else.

Back, inside lining of my pants post Rick's Cleaners.

This place is the only cleaners that I've experienced who won't press and starch uniforms of any kind. Lame and two thumbs down.

I had a dress dry cleaned which cost me a total of $50.06 after tax. My first time experience was the same as my second. This woman had a very mean mug on her face ... she asked me questions I didn't know the answer too as I'm not familiar with clothing products & how they're supposed to be washed and became frustrated with me. I decided that it would be best to leave the dress there as I needed it for an event the following weekend. Upon pickup I was greeted by a different woman who was much more bubbly, kind, and made me feel like a welcome customer. I paid, analyzed the dress and was super happy. I decided to leave the bad taste of the woman behind as I understand people have their days.. I went in again as I needed two shirts dry cleaned.. I was again greeted by the woman with the mug on her face, I kindly asked how much it would cost me to have the shirts dry cleaned and she told me $28 a piece, I was fine with that but she was demanding that I now pay upfront... (I was in a different car so I didn't have my wallet - fully aware that's my fault.) I began to mention how I had just recently gotten dress dry cleaned and that I could pay upon pickup and she because super aggressive stating that if "I can't afford to pay now there will be no service." I kindly grabbed my shirts and left. I had no problem running home grabbing my wallet and returning but after being spoken too like that I decided I didn't wanna spend my money here again. It saddens me that all it takes is one bad apple to ruin the whole experience.

After the service, the linen face fabric had shrunk significantly (approximately 5" in length and 3" in width per panel). The shrinkage was severe enough that the blackout liner now extends below and beyond the face fabric across multiple panels, making the drapes unusable as intended. After I raised the issue, I was told by the manager via voicemail that the drapes were "washed," despite them being submitted for dry cleaning. EcoClean offered only a refund of the cleaning fee and maintained that their employee followed proper procedure. I was also told that if the drapes meant so much to me, I should not have brought them in and agreed to the waiver. The representative additionally shared a personal story about shrinking their own drapes during the conversation, which felt dismissive given the extent of the damage. I understand textile cleaning carries some risk, and I expected that going in. However, this level of shrinkage on blackout-lined linen drapes--combined with the mismatch between requested dry cleaning and what was communicated afterward--is something I would want other customers with specialty window treatments to be aware of before using this service.

Even their own in store employees agreed it was shrunk and looked awful. Management gave me the run around for 3 weeks having me drop off, then pick up then drop off again the items swearing they'd make it right, only for their "in house tailor" to say the items didn't seem shrunk. Been coming here 3+ years and then this happens. Do not use this dry cleaner as they're dishonest, will ruin your expensive items and then promise you customer service and give you the run around before finally admitting they won't help you. Look at the other reviews for locations and you'll see similar stories. Unfortunately this dry cleaning chain is dishonest, will ruin expensive items you trusted them with and then tell you they can't help. If you at all value your high end items, don't take anything here unless you're okay being jerked around and potentially having your items be shrunk, damaged beyond repair.

It's seriously a major operation and they take their business and the processing of your clothes very seriously. When you can drop off after 4pm and pick up the next day at 4pm that's huge. These guys dry clean University of Texas uniforms that says a lot. You can tell right when you walk in you're doing business with a heavy hitter, and the best part is they're not a chain, they're a local business. My office recently relocated from downtown to north Austin, I could careless about the move, however, I had been using a dry cleaner for years right by my office. I started going there because it was very convenient, not because it was great but they did a decent job. I lost some buttons along the way and had cracked shirt buttons, also double pant presses which were annoying. But I scarified quality for convenience, bad move on my part I will admit. Everyone who regularly uses a dry cleaners knows that having a specific one that they use all the time is personal, at least for me it is. You develop a relationship with them, I mean you're there 2-3 days a week, you're dropping off hundreds of dollars in dress clothes you want to know that they're in good hands. I know that when I drop off at Tower they are. Top notch quality and care and it shows when they bring them out to you.

Hey Tower Cleaners, offer a living wage and you'll probably have staff! Anyway, thanks for posting the giant red flag on your door. I didn't even get out of my car. I was searching online for a fluff and fold laundry service for a short term rental…read moreproperty that I help my daughter manage, ideally one that did pick up and delivery. When I went on The Laundry Spot's website I saw that they offered this service so figured I'd give them a try. I had a few questions so I called the number listed on the home page of the website, and the woman who answered referred me to another number for the pick up and delivery service which turned out is also listed if you click on the "delivery" link. I got an answering service and left my contact info and within minutes, James the owner called back and answered my questions and walked me through the process of setting up an account so that I could do the online scheduling myself. There were 3 convenient windows of times to select from for both pick up and delivery so I scheduled pick up between 8am-11am on Tuesday and delivery during that same timeframe the next day. I got a text a minute or so prior to them arriving both times and they were both within the scheduled timeframes. Since the home was unoccupied those days, I was able to text them the temporary door code I set up remotely and allow them to pick up and drop off inside in the entry way. The laundry consisted of two full sets of bedding, several towels dish towels, etc. All came back perfectly clean and nicely folded. Online I was able to select the type of soap (or even provide my own if desired), optional softeners, and add any specific instructions such as cold water, gentle cycle etc. I am so thrilled to have found this service! Since I'm a big fan of USEFUL technology, I'm very happy that I can do all of the scheduling from my smart phone, including paying the invoice. I was initially apprehensive about providing my credit card info and wanted to be sure the info was encrypted and secure. The owner, James, patiently explained to me that he's partnered with a few different technology platforms in order to make it possible to do all of this online, so it's all very secure and tested. One thing to note: because of the way the various platforms are linked, you see different URLs when you schedule versus looking at your account versus payment, but after it's set up it's a piece of cake. And best of all, the laundry comes back beautifully clean and nicely folded without me having to do a thing (I have back problems) so this is a wonderful solution for me. And the pricing is incredibly reasonable. I highly recommend trying this laundry service and supporting a great local Austin business!
