I heard this spot was very popular so I had to try one of the handcrafted drinks. When I walked in, I immediately felt the down to earth vibe and sense of community. The staff were super friendly and efficient despite the busyness. My coffee was hottt and fresssh but I was hoping for a lot more flavor or sweetness. I can't wait to go back to try the pastries!

I was excited to try thier cookies , but they were all sold out . I got a bag of shot bread cookies instead . They were decent. I'll wait next time to try other ones.

Toasts: Avo Pickled Onion, Almond Butter Banana Honey (no chia seeds), Cream cheese & Jam + breakfast sandwich (so good)

Really enjoyed this little shop. Breezy patio. Food was great and we sampled a lot! Coffee was beautiful. Will come back.

Wow, what a 5/5 spot! We tried drinks off the Winter menu and opted for the cinnamon roll cold brew foam on top. I found myself slipping back into the mannerisms of a 5 year old and only sipping the cold foam off the top, bc damn it was THAT delicious. Though my love of that cinnamon roll foam may lead you to believe otherwise, I don't love overly sweet coffee. The drinks here let the coffee shine first and are sweetened an appropriate amount. IMO, it rides that perfect blend for a coffee treat out! My husband and I split an avocado tomato toast and were surprised it came with 2 slices! For $13, I expected a single toast, so we felt that given the market norm - the 2 slices of sourdough with avo and tomato felt like a bang for our buck. (I KNOW, but late stage capitalism, ya know?) The sourdough was buttery and crunchy and the tomato and avo plentiful. The space was cute, service welcoming, and the whole vibe was very down to earth and low key. There were quite a few people studying and the other patrons in the space were respectful of the quiet vibe. There's outdoor seating out front for the more lively crowd too. There's playlist also had some great finds! 5/5, we'll be back again!

Flat white

Revo Roasters has really stepped Up their game and become my fav coffee in O'side. They have the best flat-white in the game hands down. Get up, surf the harbor, grab a flat-white at Revolution Roasters, sit in the sun on their patio while I drink it and start my work day at a 10/10 in happiness.

My husband and I came here on a Sunday morning. There was a long line but it moved ar a reasonable pace. There's street parking and outside seating as well as inside. I ordered a small lavender honey latte (w/1/2 the syrup and almond milk) and my husband ordered the seasonal drip coffee. The seasonal coffee was ready by the time payment was made. The latte came out pretty quick so they seemed to have nailed down their process. We placed our order to go. To food looked pretty good but we didn't order any this time. My husband said his seasonal drip didn't have much flavor and is only offered as a small size, so he found this to be limiting. I wasn't fond of the flavor of my latte. We may try this place again but it would be a different coffee from what we had ordered from this trip.

Slayer three-group (!)

I'm testing a new theory...and it's that anyone who is willing to invest in a Slayer espresso machine, they care a lot about their beans. So stop four on my Slayer-theory tour is Revolution Roasters. And so far, my theory is testing mostly true. An add-on to my excellent-coffee-shop-theory as of recent has been if the barista asks me if I'd like soda water with my espresso. Revolution has both- the Slayer and the soda water question. And the result? Probably the best cup of espresso in San Diego. I'd say the only one that really holds a candle to Revolution is Lofty's single-origin Ethiopian roast, but you have to go down to Encinitas to get your hands on that. Bottom line, Revolution is a special place and I would go out of my way for this espresso again.

Super cute!!

Revolution Roasters has modern vibe. They have ample outdoor and indoor seating. Their menu includes a nice selection of coffee, drinks, pastries and food. They do not accept cash. The staff were very nice. I ordered two Iced butterscotch latte with almond milk. It was rich, creamy with perfect sweetness. I didn't have the chance to try their food this time. Definitely, I will come back and try their food and pastries

Love Revolution Roasters. They have a good amount of seating and the staff keeps it pretty clean. Every time I've been there, the baristas have been very friendly. The coffee and matcha are both really solid. I got the cappuccino last time I was in and it was really good. The patio is a nice place to hang out for a bit when the whether is nice.

Vanilla Latte

Delicious vanilla latte. Perfectly balanced and not too sweet. Indoor and outdoor seating, and street parking available. It's also connected to a vintage store! Nice staff and fast service!

wonderful little location in oceanside with a great outdoor patio space. service was quick and they were flexible with our order adjustments. however, my friend and i ordered the same thing back to back and there was an obvious difference in how they made it. we got black sesame lattes and hers had way more black sesame than mine, and mine tasted like a regular unflavored coffee. i'd go back to try something else because they do have a great menu. but maybe a different location next time.

Ask the Community - Revolution Roasters

Is this a good place to study? Or is it a noisy area?

Not really. There's a lot of human traffic (people walking by, not being "trafficked"). Also RR is on the busiest and loudest north-south artery on the coast for vehicles. It might work with a good set of headphones, but I would recommend the beach… Read more

What day of the week is roast day?

Saturdays! They roast at Coffee Coffee in Leucadia

Can you buy their homemade Almond Milk?

At this moment you can't. We asked/tried 😅

Are you Pet friendly?

We have a huge patio with tons of pets outside! Unfortunately do to Health Department regulations we cannot allow pets inside. Service animals are of course more than welcome!

I asked if their bread was vegan and they said no..but on the Prager brothers website there are no animal ingredients. What makes the avocado toast not vegan?

Yes only because we butter the toast! Just ask for no butter :)

The esthetic is really nice and as good as the coffee. It looks like they have seasonal offering that changes with the four seasons of the year. For spring seasonal I had a pistachio latte. My latte was garbage, it tasted like a glass of milk no joke. No flavor, at all. If I wanted a glass of milk for $8 I would've gone to the store and bought a gallon and poured it over ice. Literally just tasted like milk and nothing else. See below how pale and ass my latte looks for $8!!! DO NOT COME HERE YOUR LATTE WILL LITERALLY JUST TASTE LIKE MILK. I watched the barista pour soooo much milk into my drink. And no, I didn't ask for extra milk. The cashier rung it up that way for no reason. Ridiculous mistake, if I ask for light ice why would that mean I want extra milk that makes it a 12oz glass of milk??? Yikes

Entering: Never greeted let alone not acknowledged until it became barely. As someone who has worked all types of jobs, going as far back as when I was a teen myself - this is important. The two youngest ladies, at the register, were deep in their gossip that I doubt they noticed we walked in; only customers. I tried to get their attention but to no avail until I walked over and stood in front on them where their conversation had to be cut short. One of the young girls look a smidgen annoyed while the other was trying to rush to get my order. Quality of goods: I ordered a chocolate chip cookie, to share later with my girls and orders sometime raspberry for my teen son that he could enjoy later on break. The cookie was huge, yes, but nothing that beats the moist and chewy cookies I make myself at home, which I can't currently do since my kitchen is beinf remodeled. I asked my son on his bougie donut, later in the day, and he did the so-so hand and gave it an ok and dry. At end: we will stick to SK for service and quality.
