Love the Ambiance and the food in Anaheim Hills! Looking forward to my first visit to this location!

There are a few parking options surrounding this retail center. Across the street is plenty of general parking at no charge. Right next to the restaurant is a combination of general parking (limited) and valet. Saturday night had a lively atmosphere and lightly dimmed ambience. We ordered the hibiscus margarita and substituted tequila for Tito's and a bourbon peach smash. The smash was way too sour for my liking. The hibiscus marg was refreshing. I did not enjoy the short rib sliders. We enjoyed the steak chili and spinach dip but they only serve it with bread. Overly priced mediocre food. read more

FOOD and DRINKS were AMAZING!!! -Crispy Fried Calamari- Thick strips of breaded and fried calamari with slaw on the side. -Loaded Deviled Eggs- Piled high. So satisfying! -Steak and Potato Salad- My go-to order! Steam was cooked to my liking. Soft and tender. Potato salad is so addicting and the green salad has huge chunks of avocado!!! -Tequila Lime Shrimp- Huge, succulent shrimp is a flavorful spicy sauce. We ordered dinner for our family from Reunion Kitchen through Door Dash. We have a newborn and three additional kids so we were trying to give ourselves a break from cooking. The kids' burgers were barely cooked and very pink inside despite me asking for medium rare. When we called Reunion they didn't seem to care and just kept saying that we had ordered them medium rare. These burgers were rare at best. They put me on hold for several stretches and offered no resolution other than to contact Door Dash for a refund. Instead of making our life easier, this experience left our kids hungry and forced us to cook a late dinner when we already had our hands full. Reunion Kitchen couldn't have cared less about the fact that they sent inedible food out of their kitchen. read more

New Reunion Brea location is now open! It's actually a great spot for this area since there's many restaurants and bars alike. Everything is just so new here, and the decor is very modern and classy! Parking can be found around, especially since there are several parking structures around the area as well. Luckily we made a reservation for a Friday night, because it was pretttty busy. We were seated near the corner, which kind of feels like a disadvantage? Service was pretty slow around here, and since it was at the far corner, it was quite difficult to get someone's attention. We ordered some round of drinks first, which I forgot the name of the drink for mines, but it was some vodka blackberry. It was actually pretty tasty! Drinks here are surprisingly strong, so it feels very worth getting alcohol drinks here for me haha. The others got several glasses of beer and others. After ordering drinks, we then ordered our entrees. First we got an appetizer of fried calamari, then I wanted the short rib sliders but they were out of sliders for the night?? So I went with my second option, which was the fried chicken & biscuits. Friends at the table also got burgers and clam chowder. I could mainly review what I had, but overall, I thought the food was pretty good. Starting off with the fried calamari, the pieces were really huge! I really enjoyed how chewy they were and the flavors overall was pretty nice. Next trying the fried chicken and biscuit. Portions were huge, I was already pretty full from eating one of the chickens tbh. I do wish that the skin would be more close to the meat, as in, the skin would fall and crumble apart easily. It definitely was very crunchy, but it fell apart so much that you would have to basically eat is separately from the meat. The whole flavor profile was pretty good though! The mashed potatoes were also quite hefty, a bit too salty, but still pretty nice. The zucchini could have been grilled more, but it was alright. My bf also mentioned that he enjoyed his burger a lot! Burger was extremely huge, and the fries were also a bit salty, but nicely crispy. Overall, service can be a bit lacking here, but the food was pretty nice. I wouldn't say it's super amazing, but it's a nice place for food, drinks, and to hang with your friends. They have a lot on their menu and they do emphasize on big portions, hence, a great place for a "reunion". read more

I was looking for a place somewhere about halfway between West Covina and Anaheim to meet up with my brother and his family while they were in from out of state. In a whim, I chose Reunion in Brea. Location worked and the reviews were good. So I made a reservation for party of 6 and it was seamless. They didn't make me wait until the rest of the party showed up. I hate when establishments do that. Half the party was there and we were greeted by friendly and knowledgeable staff, offered drinks and appetizers. Those were delivered quickly and were great. Once the rest of the party arrived, we all ordered and the food came out in a very appropriate amount of time. I had the OC sourdough burger and it was great. Everyone else seemed to very much enjoy the food. The service was also excellent. I have absolutely no complaints, except one very petty one. At about 6PM in early September, the sun shines right into the restaurant and it's kind of blinding. They do have some sun shades but they really need some blackout shades. Nevertheless, I couldn't recommend this place more. All good. read more

This is a newer restaurant in the Brea downtown area and we're always looking for a new place to try their happy hours. I'm not sure if our expectations were too high since this is a chain restaurant and the other locations also had high Yelp reviews, so I think we thought the food would be better. Also, I'm giving this 4 stars, but I would definitely put this closer to 3.5 stars. First off, let me say that service was good. We arrived around 4:30pm on a Friday evening and there were already quite a few people inside the restaurant. Fortunately, most of the reservations were later that evening so they were able go give us a booth, but I imagine that this restaurant gets pretty busy and you'll need a reservation for Friday nights. Anyway, we ordered primarily from the happy hour menu, while my son got the burger and fries from the kid's menu. We started with the hibiscus margarita, which was just okay. I personally think the happy hour margaritas at Lazy Dog or Yard House are better and actually a bit cheaper. We also got the brussel sprouts, which was the worst of all the items we received since they had absolutely no flavor. We also ordered the Appetizer Sampler and Half Wings. Those two items were pretty decent, but I wouldn't say amazing. Actually, the best item of all was the burger my son got, so maybe ordering off their regular (non-happy hour) menu might be the way to go. Anyway, I wasn't that impressed with the happy hour food overall. I'm not going to give it too low of stars since I didn't try their regular menu items and the service was good, but for the price during happy hour, there are better options nearby. read more

Food and drinks were great and reasonably priced. We were a big party and everyone enjoyed their food. Bacon wrapped jalapeños with jam on the side were the best appetizer. I also had the pulled pork sandwich with fries and that was really good too. The sandwich was pretty big, halfway through I ended up just eating the pulled pork with fries service was great as well, staff was attentive and friendly. After a long day, we arrived at the restaurant hoping for a seamless dining experience. We began with a charcuterie board accompanied by a glass of wine and sparkling water while deciding on our entrées. The board arrived promptly, but silverware did not requiring a wait of several minutes. Shortly thereafter, an unfortunate spill left red wine across the table and my white shirt. Despite the obvious nature of the mishap, no staff member came to assist, leaving me to manage the situation myself. For the main course, we ordered the Tequila Lime Shrimp and the Crispy Pancetta Pasta. Both dishes were exceptional thoughtfully executed, well balanced, and a testament to the kitchen's talent. The culinary team clearly understands flavor and technique, delivering plates that are memorable for all the right reasons. Dessert, however, told a different story. The cake was notably dry and lacked the indulgence one expects at the conclusion of an otherwise strong meal. We sampled only a few bites before leaving it untouched. The restaurant's ambiance is undeniably appealing. The interior is modern and inviting, with televisions positioned for enjoying a game and music kept at a comfortable volume lively without overpowering conversation. Unfortunately, service proved to be the restaurant's weakest link. When attempting to get our server's attention, I was met with a casual "what's up" a greeting that feels jarringly out of place in a professional dining environment. Additional lapses were difficult to ignore: a nearby server visibly struggling to open a bottle of wine, a forgotten side of bread for the charcuterie board, and a salad arriving without its chicken. The explanation offered "there's been a mess in the kitchen" did little to restore confidence. Overall, this establishment shows considerable promise. The food demonstrates real skill and creativity, and the space itself is well-designed. However, service inconsistencies undermine the experience. With stronger training, attentiveness, and a return to hospitality fundamentals, this restaurant could rise to match the quality coming from its kitchen. read more

One of the better food n Drink experiences I've had in a long time. Cocktails were delicious. The peach bourbon smash was very tasty and the Ruby Red Martini was just good very grapefruit forward. Loded Deviled Eggs, Riblets and Coconut Shrimp all highly recommended. I feel really bad I cannot remember my servers name but she was very pleasant and attentive. Breakdown: FOOD: 5 out of 5 stars Rosemary Chicken and Biscuits, Patty Melt on Rye , and a BLT. Giving this a 4.5 because the SERVICE: 5 out of 5 start - our server Megan was fantastic! She was attentive to our table, and made sure everything was to our liking. AMBIANCE: 4 out of 5 - Love the interior, and the vibe walking in. Came here with my adult daughter for a meal after the movies. The menu is so extensive and when you're hungry everything sounds good. We decided on a cup of pozole (rojo) for each of us. It came with all the fixings - cabbage, onion, cilantro, lime, tortilla strips. It was very tasty, a little on the thick side like a birria consomme, but flavorful. She had the wedge salad with a hamburger patty, an interesting add. Daughter was very pleased and they offered to serve it chopped. I had the steak and hot potato salad. Wow! In my head I was thinking it would be a bed of greens with steak and potato salad added on top, nope, this was sliced steak, a salad with a yummy mustard dressing, and a big serving of potato salad. It was so reasonably priced and delicious. Although many more items to choose from on the menu that I want to try, this salad would easily be a repeat meal. They also box up your leftover food for you... no worry about scooping up, splattering, etc. And the service - excellent. Our server Jennifer M. was on it. Friendly, didn't rush us and the in-between time from soup and then entree was good. Hate when you're at a restaurant still eating first course and entree is brought out. She timed our food just right. And the cook on the hamburger patty and steak was perfect. Lastly, hot towels to wipe up your hands when waiting for the check/bill. Daughter and I both said we don't even get hot towels anymore when flying first class, so this extra was very much appreciated. read more

Yay! The brea location is finally open! We've been fans of the Anaheim location for years and have been patiently waiting all summer for the brea location to open. We went on Friday, opening day and it did not disappoint. Great food, great drinks! I wanted to try their weekend prime rib but they already ran out so I defaulted to my usual roasted salmon and it was cooked perfectly. I did try their house side salad for the first time and it was huge and delicious, came with bacon, eggs, and fried onions so I chose a blue cheese dressing to go with it. Ended up tasking like a Cobb! Great value for just a side salad. I ended up bringing it home and it was still good today. Hubby got the French dip and love how they don't skimp on the cup of au jus. Service was great. Entrance is hard/confusing to find. They share the entrance on the street corner with The Improv and Old Brea Chop House. You have to walk up the ramp/atrium thing and go through the big glass doors to all 3 venues and the entrance to reunion kitchen is through the doors on the left inside. read more

I didn't get a chance to post after visiting here for our first time last night, but I definitely wanted to get around to saying we had a wonderful experience here. The drinks were delicious I had a jalapeño margarita and my husband had their blackberry vodka drink. We ordered the charcuterie, grilled romaine salad, bacon wrapped jalapeños, and the meatloaf entree. We were well satisfied with each dish, everything was delicious and the entree portion is massive. We had the sweetest most attentive server named Quincy, y'all she made our night even better, we never had to look around for her to order anything and she had the best smile on her face the whole time she definitely made us feel welcome and we will ask to be seated in her area when we return, which will definitely be soon!
