New location-new review. Remember When Ice cream has now reopened at Robinson Towne center and will be open throughout the entire year. They now offer indoor seating if you wish to consume your sweet treat on site. They retained the large portions from their former roadside stand and prices are based accordingly. You can still sample their offerings before purchasing. They make their own ice cream in house. Currently however, they are not making hard ice cream but hope to have that resolved in a couple of weeks. Ice cream sizes range from kiddie then small to large so plan accordingly. They also offer pup size portions for your pet that consists of vanilla soft serve and a dog treat. Also they offer oatmilk based soft served if you are vegan or not consuming dairy. Your standard ice cream choices are here which include banana splits, Sundaes, and parfaits. On this particular visit I was interested in the Dole whip. The Dole whip is a non dairy option that isn't quite as filling as regular ice cream and serves a perfect treat if you don't want too much. I learned from Mike the counter helper that you cannot choose which flavor you want since they rotate them weekly and you must go with that week's flavor. During my visit that flavor happened to be strawberry. After tasting it I decided to go with the strawberry and was asked if I wanted any toppings. You can choose anything from jimmies to nuts or candy, or their Remember when blend which is a mixture of everything. I went with that and when I received it for a kiddie portion it looked generous and the topping was all over it. Indeed it was very good and very filling. They have their rewards program online with every dollar counting towards a reward. Once you reach $50.00 then you receive $5.00 off. As I was registering my account and entering my receipt I noticed that I was charged $.75 for the topping. I don't have a problem with that except the toppings listed on the menu don't state that they are extra. I went back and gave them my suggestion because it is easy to think that they are included when nothing is noted on it. I learned that same thing is true with the Sundae toppings. Only the first Sundae topping comes with your purchase, any others are charged an additional fee. It's great to have an ice cream shop out in the west suburbs where there is a lack of good places to go. Being able to eat indoors is also a plus. Hopefully when I come back they will have their hard ice cream ready. Located in Robinson Towne center there is plenty of parking throughout.

I have so many memories of Remember When - mostly around hanging out with my high school friends, but I won't lie, a decade later I forgot how HUGE their cones are - lucky for me, I just got a scoop of the super yummy Peanut Butter Pretzel Crunch, but my siblings ordered medium soft serves that were longer than their faces. So, be forewarned, small or kiddie is the way to go if you're not starving! Remember When is a staple in the Wind Gap area - it's been there since I can remember and offers a wide variety of ice cream stand options. From Chills (blizzards) to shakes and sundaes, not to mention your standard cones, there is something for everyone. During a recent trip home, and during a holiday weekend, NINE of us ventured to Remember When - three little kids and six big kids (adults) - each of us found something to our liking on the menu and were pleased, not only with the serving sizes, but the taste. On top of that, the staff was patient with our large group and equally large order and super friendly! If you're in the area and looking for a sweet treat, stop on in!

This has always been one of my favorite ice cream places since I was younger. Every summer we would drive out here a few times to get Pittsburgh's largest cone. Now that I live a little closer we have been going even more often. This place seriously has everything you could think of. Sundaes, milkshakes, soft serve, hard ice cream, dole whip, etc. I will say that the service has been a little slower lately but it's all worth it I promise.

    Large sundae

There food is beyond expensive for getting barely any ice cream in a bowl the give 2 small scoops for an outrageous price. I will never eat here again they don't give a good amount of topping or anything it is a very gross place to eat. And after I made this post the owner came out and walked up to my fiancé and I in a very rude manner and asked us to better themselves and we said it was a conversation my fiancé and I were having that they shouldn't have rudely walked up to us and interrupted our conversation without saying excuse me first. I was very shocked with the way this man had approached myself and my fiancé. He should've done it in a nicer manner and should've at least apologized when we said we were having our own conversation and didn't even say excuse me in a good manner it was rude and ignorant.

Birthday ice cream. Chocolate Mint chip for the win. Even kiddies are big!

I love this family friendly and great quality ice cream shop! I have been working my way through their many homemade hard ice creams. The "Peach Cobbler" is like it came right from my grandma's kitchen. The "Death by Chocolate", well no need to explain. Very fresh flavors and no fake tastes. I have had the soft serve as well. It is a creamy soft serve, not ice milk and is so satisfying. The place is bright and clean (I love the hot pink). The mother and son owners support the military and police, since they are veterans of each. They even have a party room so you can get some of your friends together for an ice cream party! So many options, so little time. Mike and Deb are great!

Menu offerings were so vast, it took me a while to read through everything because it all sounded so good! They have a couple of rotating specials and different grades of matcha depending on caffeine levels and a weekly rotation of their soft serve. In addition to matcha lattes, they have shaved ice, soft serve floats, espresso + matcha combos, refreshers, and combos I never thought of but wanted to try. I love a yuzu drink so I tried their yuzu cool, a yuzu blended ice drink topped with their grade 1 matcha. It was amazing. The matcha quality was fantastic and you could really taste the difference. My friend tried one of spring menu offerings, a peach based latte and loved it. There's very limited seating inside so be aware. Street parking outside. I can't wait to return!!

The black sesame flavor was strong and present, but I think the ube flavor was lacking. The earl gray ice cream has a very strong floral aftertaste. Earl gray has that tea taste usually, but it was very overpowering. The jade fog latte was good as a matcha with a lavender cold form but for $8 as a matcha with cold foam is steep. There's only about 5 tables in the store, but sometimes some ppl come here to study. Street parking is free nearby.

Since then, I've seen Leona's ice cream sandwiches at various supermarkets, but it's always been a tad on the pricey side! I would also consider myself an ice-cream aficionado but I can't say the same about the sandwich form! Fast forward a year and somehow I see a menu for Leona's ice cream sandwiches and they are the most luxurious combinations I had ever seen! I was under the impression that everything was dairy-free so I knew I had to finally stop by! We had dinner down the street and we absolutely had to stop by for dessert. Service was friendly from the moment we came in, and in addition to getting some very tasty samples I even learned the wallpaper was designed by the same woman who worked on the team art for the NFL Draft this year! Anyways, ice cream was delicious. There's a rotating list of flavors, and I happened to try the raspberry ripple, ube, and strawberry. They all happened to be dairy free, but I'm not sure that everything on the menu actually is. Everything is clearly labeled though! I wasn't a fan of the cookies that day so I ended up going with a scoop. Scoop size descriptions were also excellent! The mini is a golf ball, and the regular is a tennis ball. The strawberry was DELICIOUS and I would absolutely get it again, I also don't know how I could walk by in the future without stepping in!

With so many creative flavors, desserts, and toppings there is something for everyone here. On warm days, wait time can be up to an hour but I promise it's worth the wait. Luckily, we live relatively close, so we have plenty of chances to drive by and hope for a shorter line. My usual order is the Arctic Swirl with vanilla ice cream and M&M's mixed in, which comes in medium or large. It's simple, nostalgic, and always hits the spot. My husband's go-to is the Nancy B sundae, which is another favorite in our family. Now that my toddler is 2, she loves going to the "ice cream store," which makes Page's feel even more special for us. I love that it's a multi-generational business and hope they continue to have success for many years to come.
