A wonderful little neighborhood ice cream place. They added a really nice seating area in the back that faces Chartiers Creek. People are really friendly and chat at the tables. I got a medium wet walnut sundae with whipped cream and a cherry. It was five dollars. A couple I was chatting with even gave me a ride home. I was out walking and got over 3000 steps. The last time I reviewed the Dari Delight was back in 2017, and some things have changed in the past nine years. For one, I don't think they offer any hot foods anymore. I am fairly certain they only offer ice cream treats. Secondly, starting this year, Dari Delight's social media has drastically changed as they have adopted the use of generative A.I. for most of their advertising. Also, the cute little retro look of the stand has changed for the worse. Instead of cute little signs showing the varieties of items they offer, all the signs now are A.I. slop, and I think it looks horrible. The ice cream itself is still good, but to me, businesses that just casually use A.I. for their marketing is a big turn-off to me, and I will deliberately avoid them. Yesterday they were offering free ice cream cones for Bridgeville's 125th Anniversary, and we did stop and get a free cone, so I thank them for that, but I really hope they re-consider their use of A.I. and go back to the cute, retro looking signs that they used to have . . . hopefully. read more

It's a little hole in the wall place but they have the best prices and let me tell you they are the friendliest people you could ever meet! I'm going to be dreaming about the peanut butter zinger. This place is great. The staff is very friendly, there is seating available around the back, and the quality/portion size of the ice cream is well worth the price. The peanut butter zinger was loaded with reese's throughout and was topped with hot fudge and peanut butter. I went with twist custard and would definitely recommend it. The parking lot is a decent size and was easy to get in and out of. The trees around the back tables are nice because they hide a little of the parking lot while you're eating. I opted for a large oreo and the wife a regular chocolate (the 4 size options are regular, large, xl, & monster). The serving size was good for the price and had great flavor. The ice cream is good, because how is any ice cream bad. They have outside seating, my boyfriend and I went to grab some ice cream on our way home from puppy classes. Left the 4 month old puppy in the car (windows open), ordered and paid for our ice cream. They even gave us a "pup cup". We then get the puppy to sit on the bench, minding our own business, to enjoy our ice cream, totally not making a scene. My puppy is still in the socialization process so he's cuddling next to me on the bench because he's also minding his own business, not interested in seeing new people.... an older male employee comes up to us and says "keep your dog off the table, maybe at your house he gets on the table but not here". SUPER RUDE and totally uncalled for. He could of politely asked me to put my dog on the gravel, although he was just cuddling on my lap. After his rude, uncalled for, outburst, bystanders came over to pet my puppy and comforted me after the rude employee. They even pointed out the table is outside and dirty to begin with.
