First things first, it was hot in the restaurant, potentially the A/C was not working as well as it should have been or something, but it was not super comfortable. The service was good, I didn't get her name, a younger woman waited on me and she was very kind and did the best she could. The food came out super slow, I ordered empanadas to start, the waitress said they burned the first order (I appreciated that didn't just serve me overdone empanadas lol) once they finally arrived they were just unfortunately bland, and just kind of lacked authenticity. When she finally brought out my main dish, she even apologized for the wait and said "I had to go yell at them". For a main entree I ordered the French dip with onion rings, another reviewer mentioned they were the best they had had. The meat was kind of tough and dry (which is odd for a French Dip, and everything just lacked flavor. Even the au jus really had no kind of salt or much flavor to it. I really hoped after seeing how everyone else rated this place that I had found that little hole in the wall spot putting out killer food that we all long for, sadly this wasn't it.

I have always loved the atmosphere and decor here. We are now regulars here and they have reached…read morethat stage of knowing our names, our habits, and most importantly, how to take care of their regulars. If you establish a presence here, they will take care of you. Consistency is another major selling point. Go here 10 times, and your food is going to be on point about 9.5 of those times. Those are pretty good odds. They have just recently started a soft launch of their fall/winter menu, which means they are experimenting with a few new dishes while bringing back some old favorites. One of those returning favorites is the crispy cauliflower. Last time around, it was fantastic. This time, while still tasty, it had apparently filed a formal complaint against the word "crispy" because there was very little evidence to support the claim. Even the bartender agreed with me that it was somewhat misrepresented. Tip: Get the sauce on the side. It will help preserve what level of crisp that is intended for this dish. Now, let us move on to the star of the evening. The new chicken parmigiana! Holy mother of God. Butter my butt and call me a biscuit. This may genuinely be one of the most beautiful, perfectly textured, and downright delicious chicken parmigianas I have ever had. The chicken was crisped to absolute perfection, and the way they layered the marinara on top was brilliant. Rather than drowning the chicken in a traditional, liquidy sauce, they used more of a bruschetta-style topping, which gave it texture while somehow allowing the breading to remain gloriously crispy. Hands down, one of the best chicken parmigianas I have ever had. Now we just need to pray to whatever culinary deity is responsible for consistency that they can replicate this thing every time, because this one was ridiculously good. One final recommendation: split the dish.Unless you are the kind of person who considers a family-size portion a light snack, there is plenty of food here for two.

But, my wife had fries that I could steal and I appreciate having a salad option. The little side salad had a nice bitterness complemented by the slight sourness of the dressing. The meat was flavorful and sliced perfectly while the bread was toasty enough to stay together long enough to hold in all that juiciness. Our server was attentive and friendly and I'll happily go back to try some menu staples ... unless the next special demands my attention like that Reuben did.

We didn't have to wait long for food, drinks or our check/to go boxes. We got the non alcoholic drink with prickly pear and pineapple- fantastic mocktail recipe! It reminded me of a perfect refreshing drink for end of summer, beginning of fall. Smooth and subtle pineapple. I have to be honest the sea bass was probably the best sea bass I have tried. 100/10 so flavorful and adding a squeeze of lemon was a hit! I would definitely some back here. Even the bread sticks they serve with the table waters are yummy garlicky and soft and warm. I expected a lot more "patriotic style" American restaurant decor but it is tasteful and tasty!

She made sure everything was GF, and I believe she even mentioned that they have a dedicated fryer, which was such a comforting bonus! The only hard part about dining here was the complimentary bread that arrives at your table when you sit down. It looked and smelled absolutely delightful... but sadly, it wasn't gluten-free. The atmosphere and ambiance were excellent, making it a really enjoyable place to sit down and have a meal. We started with the loaded baked potato, and it was delicious. The potato was cooked just right, not too hard and not overly soft, with just the right amount of butter and toppings. We also ordered the ranch salad. The lettuce was fresh and crisp, although I would have liked to see a few more cucumbers. The jalapeño cheddar sausage plate had just the right amount of spice. The flavor was good, but unfortunately, the sausage was a little too rubbery. It seemed like it may have been cooked just a bit too long. Still, it had good flavor and was enjoyable. And if you like sweet tea, theirs definitely lives up to the name! It was sweet. Overall, the food was good, the atmosphere was great, and the prices seemed very reasonable.
