Had a fabulous experience of this location . I hadn't been to this location in years and was happy to see that it has been extremely well maintained . The building looks like new, so you can tell they take care of it. Kathryn at the bar was amazing and friendly and kind and had great suggestions. There were also a few other staff members that engaged with me and made me smile because I was dining alone. They have a new, refreshed menu with many different new cocktails and entrees. They also have daily specials. The daily special on Monday is all you can eat shrimp for $25. The daily special for Tuesday is crab legs for $20. And they have a daily special for each day. I had the create your own ultimate feast and it was really good. The crab legs were bright, red and beautifully fresh. The portions were very large. The shrimp scampi was their classic, famous shrimp scampi, and it tasted absolutely delicious. Drenched in butter. I definitely will return.

Abandoned Red Lobster Restaurant. Ours was open for lunch but apparently the help didn't show up that day.

Eulogy for Red Lobster We went by for lunch but no one was there, The doors were open but nobody cared. There were no hostesses, no bartender, no noise, I looked at my watch, where were the boys? Where was the music, pleasant and piped in, Where was the manager dapper and trim? How long should we wait? We wondered out loud, How did it come to this, a giant humbled, not proud. For 15 long minutes we stood and we waited, but it was quiet as a tomb, and never abated. There is no server to laud and cheer, this is no cook to persevere. There are only a few tired lobsters languishing in the tank and the smell from the carpet is rather quit dank. The food wasn't good but it wasn't half bad, in fact there was no food at all, we left quite sad. Not for the loss of my appetite and not for the loss of this tattered old knight. The flags they still wave but nobody is home, where they all went nobody can know. Please help us Darden why did you sell? The Thai Union Group might as well have been hell. So farewell my friend, you were always the best, and so it is with heavy heart we lay you to rest.

First off, we came in with a group of six, the first thing you see is a sad looking lobster tank. The lobsters didn't look like they were thriving and it didn't make me want seafood. It didn't seem very busy, the hostess didn't seem very happy to be there, we asked for a table and she tried to put us in a booth, so we had to wait about 5 more minutes. When we got our table, it was very wobbly, we were careful with it. There was also dust and cobwebs on the light over the table. Okay, now for the good part, Rasheed, our server was great! He warned us he is pretty new, but he did a great job, very friendly and personable. Now for the rest, we ordered drinks, everyone else had soda, I went with a classic margarita, again, I couldn't see any other tables, it wasn't very busy. It took at least 20 minutes for the margarita to show up. Everyone else was ready for refills, so I got a water and kept waiting. When it finally showed up, it was very watery. Not worth the wait. Now the food, one person had the flounder topped with lobster, he said it was small but good. I had Walt's favorite shrimp platter. You could tell they were just taken out of a bag in the freezer and fried, something you would expect from a fast food place, not paying $19 for. My wife got the coconut shrimp, they were good, but it was huge, basically just a large plate filled with shrimp and no room even for a side. We should have just split that. We both had the Cole slaw, it was yellow, very strange, it tasted even stranger, we named it pina colada slaw because, well that's what it tasted like, pineapple and coconut, not good. Another person got the chicken pasta, not sure how it was, they found a hair in it, the manager asked if she would like another, she did, it came out just in time to box it up. The manager was nice and took it off the bill. Overall, it was pretty mediocre, except for a couple of items that were good. All of the overhead lights were dusty and had cobwebs.

If you are not in the mood for seafood, this half order of Spicy Cajun Chicken Alfredo might hit the spot.

I'm not a seafood guy so these folks re very low on my list but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do! I have relatives that like it so there was no socially acceptable way to refuse. My party of three showed up at 6:00 pm on a Tuesday and it was packed with a 15 minute wait. The young ladies at the hostess stand were delightful. Once we were seated our waitress was exceptional. Overall CUSTOMER SERVICE was very very good. The ATMOSPHERE was completely expected standard chain décor. Everything was spotless so no complaints. So how about the FOOD? The legendary biscuits were, well, legendary. Warm and tasty nuggets of happiness. My meal came with a house salad and it was 2-star forgettable. It was fresh but it had very few ingredients and was quite frankly boring. My entree was Spicy Cajun Chicken Alfredo. It was hot and filling but the operative word was boring as well. The plating was boring, the color was boring, and the sauce was boring and not at all spicy. The amount of chicken just barely approached adequate. By the end of the meal I was stuffed but bored. My adult libation was bottles of Shock Top and they were icy cold and just fine. This is the perfect example of how two star food can turn into a three star experience with the addition of excellent customer service!

Please do not offer specialty drinks. Mai tai mix should not be an option. Hire bartenders and make drinks fresh. Very disappointed.

Eat here fairly often. Waited 10 minutes tonight for water--it never came. If you see our waiter tell him we've gone. :/

Came out here while in the area to get some burgers and enjoy the view. My husband and I both got…read morethe cheddar burger, medium well. Staff was friendly, and the wait wasn't too long. I am a sports fan so it was nice to have something to watch while waiting for our food and while we ate, but I was a little disappointed the sound was muted and they had no subtitles. I had to use the restroom while we waited and I found it to be clean. Our food came in a timely manner and we got to enjoying our burgers, which we both loved. Our burgers were $14 each, which isn't bad and for how good they were it was worth the price. I can definitely see myself coming back in the future.

-Family run, comfort food, at its best!-…read more These fine folks have been causing quite a stir in the county! Let's see how they are doing roughly 5 months after opening. Arriving- They are in the old Sonny's BBQ directly on US Route 27 South so getting there is a snap. The parking lot is adequate but tough when it gets busy. Note that they are open 7 days for lunch and dinner. Pro Tip- The Handicapped parking spots are unusually far away from the entrance. If you can, consider dropping off an impaired dining partner at the door prior to parking. Ambience- The inside has been completely remodeled with calming grey & black tones. There are high-tops, 2 and 4 tops, and booths. Even after five months it is immaculate. Wi-Fi- The system is there but there is NO customer Wi-Fi! Shame on them! Adult Libations- Beer and wine. I asked about red wine choices and was told Merlot or Cabernet. I chose Merlot and received a completely acceptable wine and a very large pour @$6 See my picture. Customer Service- The staff looks very comfortable in a uniform of jeans and black logo T-shirts. My service was 5-star with no complaints. A pleasant surprise is that many of the other servers smiled at me when they walked past! Food- American comfort food. Some folks call them a bbq joint as they offer ribs and pulled pork, but they have a broader menu then the typical "Q" joint. I ordered the Grilled Chicken Sandwich @$12. I chose Blackened but Lemon Pepper or plain were also available. It comes with one side from a huge list of 15 and I went with fries. Next time I'm trying Roasted Corn Salad @$3 as it looks amazing! It came out quickly and was plated nicely as you can see from my picture. Portion size was more than enough for lunch. It was a delicious meal! Most importantly the Blackened Chicken was nicely seasoned and still moist. The veges were perfectly fresh. The fries were drool worthy. A nice crunch on the outside, soft in the middle and not greasy. Someone in the kitchen knows how to run a fryer! Pro Tip- Although I did not sample it, folks are saying that if you chose beef as your protein, it was not what they expected. Maybe check out some pics before you order. Conclusion- I had a great experience even without Wi-Fi. I'm going 4.5 stars and rounding up to 5!

Finding my way in the more rural areas of our fine state for work - and literally driving there and…read moremy meetings on an empty stomach - I found Cody's on the recommendation of a Yelp bro & stopped for a late lunch / early dinner before heading back to the 305. The decor is classic 50s roadside diner with old license plates on the wall, an old pickup truck outside and a TV on ESPN by my table. The menu is classic Americana / diner fare with a southern touch. I'd been on an empty stomach through my 3 hour drive and meetings, so by the time I sat down to eat, I almost would have even eaten the paper the menu was written on :) Since it was a little bit on the chilly side, I started with their hearty cup of baked potato soup, deliciously loaded with cheese & bacon bits in a stew. Their warm, buttery and fluffy rolls topped with cinnamon butter were worth every single gram of carbs and almost functioned as a dessert themselves. Then came my yummy main dish, a roasted half chicken with just the right amount of skin and garnished with a smoky barbecue sauce. It was a sizable bird, taking up a nice bit of plate real estate, though leaving just enough room for a warm and topped with butter sweet potato. Needless to say, I still had room for dessert, and enjoyed their Keylime pie. Mal, my waitress, was very pleasant and I didn't have to wait for soda refills. Plating was also on time. I noticed they also had a Valentine's Day local special. It seems like this is a happening place in Sebring and I'd stop by next time I'm in the area.
