Hello. First visit I hope my next will be better. The service was excellent but I have some interesting things to say about the food. I ordered tasting plates: Dragon Broccoli, Tuna Poke (on a side salad,) and the shrimp potstickers. 1. The Dragon Broccoli - Golden-fried florets drizzled with a spicy soy-ginger sauce and topped with green onions. Spice seekers, this one's for you. Was overcooked - the broccoli mushy. There was a garnish added not listed on the menu AND not mentioned in the Corporate menu - whole dried chili peppers, about three of them. I was mortified someone thought THAT was an appropriate garnish. If the chef had taken 1/4 of a fresh chili pepper and julienne'd it, that would have been not only appropriate, but added a taste feature. What am I going to do with a dried chili pepper? It's useless on the plate and would be better served as a spice, not a garnish. 2. Tuna Poke - Tuna lovers, take note. We marinate sushi-grade ahi tuna in savory soy-sesame sauce, and top it off with green onions. Served with tortilla chips for extra crunch. Normally does not come on a salad, however, I truly believe Red Lobster test chefs and corporate missed the ball on this one. You have a 'new' menu feature of cold shrimp as an add-on to salad, but missed the fabulous-ness of the spicy tuna on a salad?! I had it on a garden side salad with your champagne vinaigrette and it was unique, flavorful and absolutely delicious. Note: Mind your chips they have that just about to turn stale taste. 3. Potstickers. Three golden-fried dumplings topped with a spicy soy-ginger sauce and green onions. Extra sauce on the side. Over done or extra crispy, either way I had to wrestle the concrete dough and the shrimp inside paid for the extra cooking time and was rubberish. There was no additional sauce on the plate to "dip" the potstickers in, nor was a side soy sauce on the side. Disappointed and fearful to order lobster, shrimp or scallops on my "Second Chance" visit if you can't time your seafood correctly. You also did the unthinkable and put MORE dried chilis on this dish as well. Somebody teach this chef how to recognize spices versus garnish, PLEASE!! Dude or Dudette, use FRESH chilis as thin as the red onions on the side salad - it would have improved the meal tastings. read more

There is no curbside pickup. You have to go in. Waited 15 mins after checking in and 10 mins after it was supposed to be ready. Go inside to see what's up and they haven't even torn the ticket off the printer. It was only Cole slaw and biscuits. It's probably not the employees fault. Have always dined in at Red Lobster and never really dissatisfied with the service. Tonight we were tired and did not feel like going out, so we tried RL delivery on their app. What a cockup that turned out to be. The first try was lost somewhere in never-never land. Cancelled the charge on my CC and tried again, after spending time on the phone, with them, looking for it. The second order went thru and again, received confirmation. 45 minutes later it was delivered by a very nice lady!! Upon opening the package, we were shorted a baked potato with lobster. It was a reward that was used, so we lost that one. I have heard that the only order process was a nightmare and often delivered wrong. We took a chance and found out what we heard was true. Nov 18, 2025. Sebring Florida. Group luncheon. They insult your intelligence by calling their fish and chips "beer battered". By far the worst I've ever eaten and I've eaten hundreds of fish and chips being in my mid 70's and from the Puget Sound. It was not batter, it was breading. If you don't know the difference - it is like asking for sunny side up eggs and getting hard boiled. It's hard to ruin cod but they tried. Almost as good as the bargain frozen fish and chips at Walmart, but more than twice the price before the tip. At least it wasn't as dry as my wife's crunchy flounder. More breading than fish (how thin can you slice fish!) Now I realize why I haven't been in a Red Lobster in 30 years and why I won't be in one for another 30 years. Had a fabulous experience of this location . I hadn't been to this location in years and was happy to see that it has been extremely well maintained . The building looks like new, so you can tell they take care of it. Kathryn at the bar was amazing and friendly and kind and had great suggestions. There were also a few other staff members that engaged with me and made me smile because I was dining alone. They have a new, refreshed menu with many different new cocktails and entrees. They also have daily specials. The daily special on Monday is all you can eat shrimp for $25. The daily special for Tuesday is crab legs for $20. And they have a daily special for each day. I had the create your own ultimate feast and it was really good. The crab legs were bright, red and beautifully fresh. The portions were very large. The shrimp scampi was their classic, famous shrimp scampi, and it tasted absolutely delicious. Drenched in butter. I definitely will return. read more

Eulogy for Red Lobster We went by for lunch but no one was there, The doors were open but nobody cared. There were no hostesses, no bartender, no noise, I looked at my watch, where were the boys? Where was the music, pleasant and piped in, Where was the manager dapper and trim? How long should we wait? We wondered out loud, How did it come to this, a giant humbled, not proud. For 15 long minutes we stood and we waited, but it was quiet as a tomb, and never abated. There is no server to laud and cheer, this is no cook to persevere. There are only a few tired lobsters languishing in the tank and the smell from the carpet is rather quit dank. The food wasn't good but it wasn't half bad, in fact there was no food at all, we left quite sad. Not for the loss of my appetite and not for the loss of this tattered old knight. The flags they still wave but nobody is home, where they all went nobody can know. Please help us Darden why did you sell? The Thai Union Group might as well have been hell. After a long drive from Northern Indiana to Sebring, Florida, we went to the RL on 27th Hwy in Sebring. It was on a Sunday, December 3, 2023. around 3:00 pm. The hostess was nowhere to be found, with several customers waiting to be acknowledged. The waiting area was full of waiting guests. I walked into the dining area and found the hostess bussing tables. She apologized and said she was doing double duty. After a ten-minute wait, we were seated. I ordered an advertised Blue Moon only to learn they were out of it. Our polite waiter said he had been telling the manager for months to take it off the menu as he was tired of having to speak to his customers when it was not available. The biscuits were in the oven and would be ready shortly. We received three biscuits after a short wait and promised more when available. This is a poorly managed Red Lobster. The staff were friendly, but the service was slow and inefficient. Maybe we hit it at a bad time, but we will not return. We are still waiting for our biscuits and food. First off, we came in with a group of six, the first thing you see is a sad looking lobster tank. The lobsters didn't look like they were thriving and it didn't make me want seafood. It didn't seem very busy, the hostess didn't seem very happy to be there, we asked for a table and she tried to put us in a booth, so we had to wait about 5 more minutes. When we got our table, it was very wobbly, we were careful with it. There was also dust and cobwebs on the light over the table. Okay, now for the good part, Rasheed, our server was great! He warned us he is pretty new, but he did a great job, very friendly and personable. Now for the rest, we ordered drinks, everyone else had soda, I went with a classic margarita, again, I couldn't see any other tables, it wasn't very busy. It took at least 20 minutes for the margarita to show up. Everyone else was ready for refills, so I got a water and kept waiting. When it finally showed up, it was very watery. Not worth the wait. Now the food, one person had the flounder topped with lobster, he said it was small but good. I had Walt's favorite shrimp platter. You could tell they were just taken out of a bag in the freezer and fried, something you would expect from a fast food place, not paying $19 for. My wife got the coconut shrimp, they were good, but it was huge, basically just a large plate filled with shrimp and no room even for a side. We should have just split that. We both had the Cole slaw, it was yellow, very strange, it tasted even stranger, we named it pina colada slaw because, well that's what it tasted like, pineapple and coconut, not good. Another person got the chicken pasta, not sure how it was, they found a hair in it, the manager asked if she would like another, she did, it came out just in time to box it up. The manager was nice and took it off the bill. Overall, it was pretty mediocre, except for a couple of items that were good. All of the overhead lights were dusty and had cobwebs. read more

Waited 20 minutes at Red Lobster, no drinks, no biscuits, and no sign of the waiter anywhere. We left and went to the Outback, which was the right decision, Outback has lobster and filet mignon, and we had bread and drinks with'n 3 minutes after being seated. Before going to Red Lobster, I read the many negative reviews - but friends wanted to go there. We have excellent, prompt service. Food was plentiful and good. I would definitely recommend this restaurant with the hope that today's visit is an indication that they have cleared up past service. Our server was very attentive to tell us the progress on our meal, to get a couple of changes we made to our meal (different from what the menu said) served as we ordered, and to check several times to ask if we needed anything else. I'm not a seafood guy so these folks re very low on my list but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do! I have relatives that like it so there was no socially acceptable way to refuse. My party of three showed up at 6:00 pm on a Tuesday and it was packed with a 15 minute wait. The young ladies at the hostess stand were delightful. Once we were seated our waitress was exceptional. Overall CUSTOMER SERVICE was very very good. The ATMOSPHERE was completely expected standard chain décor. Everything was spotless so no complaints. So how about the FOOD? The legendary biscuits were, well, legendary. Warm and tasty nuggets of happiness. My meal came with a house salad and it was 2-star forgettable. It was fresh but it had very few ingredients and was quite frankly boring. My entree was Spicy Cajun Chicken Alfredo. It was hot and filling but the operative word was boring as well. The plating was boring, the color was boring, and the sauce was boring and not at all spicy. The amount of chicken just barely approached adequate. By the end of the meal I was stuffed but bored. My adult libation was bottles of Shock Top and they were icy cold and just fine. This is the perfect example of how two star food can turn into a three star experience with the addition of excellent customer service! read more

Let me just start by saying I know it's Veteran's Day and they're busy with people coming in for the free meal. I was one of them. I got there at 1:45 and the very nice hostess up front told us there was going to be a wait to get seated. I was finally seated after waiting about 20 minutes (I didn't time it). I waited about 30 minutes before the waiter even got to me. He asked me for my order and left. Approximately 20-25 minutes later he comes by with someone's order, looks at me and says "Oh yeah". In the meantime, across the aisle a couple comes in, sits down and are waited on by another waiter. They got their drinks, roles and salad all before I even got my drink. They even got their meal quickly. When the waiter finally does come with my meal, it's the wrong meal. I told him that's not my meal, told him I'm leaving, got up and asked for the manager. By this time I was there 2 hours. The manager tried to make it up to me, but by this time I was starving, upset and honestly I didn't want to wait any longer than I already had. I told the manager I don't want you to make it up to me and told him I was leaving and won't be coming back. I just needed to get out of there before I made myself look like a Karen (Which I probably did anyway). I ended up going to Sonny's and got a meal in 10-15 minutes. read more

We usually have great service at Red Lobster but not this time. My husband and I went for lunch there last Tuesday January 11, 2022. We waited at least 20 minutes, maybe more and were never even acknowledged. If someone had just said sorry about the wait, we will be with you soon I would have been ok but nobody said one word to us. They would look at us but never came to take an order, say boo or anything. Normally I would say it is because of COVID but there were only 4 tables with diners at them so it was not that. We observed one of the strangest experiences with a restaurant 'Manager' ever sitting at the bar in the Sebring Red Lobster enjoying a few drinks while considering our dinner options. Over the hour we sat, 3 different people who had by their estimation been waiting far too long for their to-go order asked to speak with someone in charge. The same young man came out behind the wall behind the bar in all 3 instances, and each time he asked the same introductory question: "How can I help you, BOSS-MAN?" Unbelievable use of a demeaning and negative dog-whistle term with a very specific derogatory meaning, directed at a paying customer. So wrong on so many levels: The 'Manager' was an African-American. Each of the 3 customers who wanted to speak with someone in charge were white. Using 'BOSS-MAN' is a not-so-thinly-veiled contemptuous epithet directed at each customer for reasons known only to the 'Manager', without this 'Manager' knowing anything about why each wanted to speak with him. Each had an honest & reasonable request - simply asking to speak with someone about how long their orders were taking - both innocuous and well within their rights. None of the 3 customers exhibited any anger, nor were they the least bit negative - they just wanted their food. Wow. Red Lobster - you clearly have a huge problem in Sebring. This young man - your 'Manager' - needs to get his inherent prejudices out of all of his conversations with your customers. Immediately. Such an ass. Wonder if the shoe were to be on the other foot, and a white 'Manager' were to ask this idiot "How can I help you, boy?" What a d*ck. We'll never go back. read more

The bread was exquisite, although the rest of the dining experience was quit the train wreck. Food was bland and boring, the bread is the thin thread that is holding this restaurant together. Had a taste for steak and shrimp. Lesson learned don't ever get a steak in a seafood place. Sirloin steak very thin. Prob worst steak I've ever had. Not tender. We thought we'd enjoy Lobster Fest after being bombarded by commercials on TV. This has usually been a very nice Red Lobster, but there's been some sort of corporate restructuring and the restaurant has suffered from it. We both ordered the Maine Lobster Bake. This dish also included some small potatoes and corn on the cob. We asked if we could switch out the corn for another vegetable and were able to get green beans and rice pilaf. With our dinners came salads. The salads contain little more than lettuce, croutons, and a few cherry tomatoes. The lettuce was fresh but the salad was otherwise boring. Also, our waiter practically flung them at us. When our entrees arrived, the lobster tails were small but appeared to be perfectly cooked. The problem we ran into was the buttery garlic sauce that had been poured over everything. It was too salty. We really should have returned the meals to the kitchen but I'm always afraid to do that because I've known people who've worked in food service and I know what can happen to your returned meal. We brought most of it home in an attempt to possibly remove the saltiness from the lobster meat. Yup! We're a couple of dopes for paying that kind of money for inedible food, but we learned something: we will not be going back to Red Lobster. And perhaps I can spare someone from making the same mistake. After one year we visited, with much trepidation, this Red Lobster. We were shocked to find the difference in food quality and service. Unlike our previous visit, the waiter was extremely attentive and efficient. Our drinks and biscuits arrived almost immediately. We both ordered the lobster bisque. It was very good but lacked any actual pieces of lobster. My Caesar salad was huge and had shaved Parmesan on the top. It was a fresh and delicious salad and so unlike the tiny salad in our previous visit. As my entree I had coconut shrimp with French fries. The shrimp were cooked perfectly and the mango sauce that accompanied them had a slight bite to it. The fries were crispy and quite good. So, this experience was very different from the prior one and I'm wondering if the restaurant has a new manager since last year. If so, he/she has made tremendous changes in a positive direction. If you've tried this Red Lobster in the past and found it wanting, you might want to give them another chance. read more

Food was good. However, something was seriously wrong with the kitchen and some of the wait staff. Came in just before 5, not busy from the look of the parking lot. Hostess said it would be a few minutes as only 2 staff on but more would be there shortly. Was seated and waitress came in a timely manner to take drink order. Brought back drinks and we ordered. I order Fish&Chips from their Duo specials which came with an appetizer. Husband order Walt's shrimp special. Appetizers came timely and was very good. Biscuits came with drinks. After that it was downhill from there. Dinner came in a timely manner but was missing all the side dishes! The runner tried to give the food to the booth in front of us first then came to put table. He asked who had the Fish & Chips and sat down a plate with an upside down piece of fish and nothing else! My husband dish had just the shrimp and nothing else! Had to ask where the fries and coleslaw were! He said sorry and went back to kitchen. It took over 5 minutes for our waitress to bring the fries and coleslaw. Food was good thought. Heard a big crash in kitchen and a bunch of yelling for several minutes. Order desert. Chocolate Wave cake and ice came out. It was on a long rectangle plate with the slice framed to the extreme right side with the scoop of ice cream nearly falling off the plate! Other side was bare. Weird! We were camping at the state park so we left today. This place needs a better manager! read more

We used to love going to Red Lobster and still do but things have drastically changed from the menu to the prices. The clam chowder and biscuits are still the best but some of the other things are not. The fried shrimp was soggy, the broiled flounder was under cooked and had no taste to it. They really need to get back to the basics including their pricing. read more

We are new to the area and our first meal here was a bit of a disappointment. (the service was poor- food was good) Every place has its off days so we recently tried again and I'm glad we did. The service was terrific and the food was really good. The server was attentive & personable and it was a very nice meal. Horrible. Since the pandemic they have scaled down their menu but continue to offer high prices to mediocre food. Before the virus they were actually pretty good. Need to stay focused on the detail. Had to ask for everything. No salt or pepper. Steak was lousy excuse for a sirloin. I can get bigger steaks at Winn Dixie down the street. 24.99 for hamburger steak and a small lobster tail. The service has gotten sloppy as well. Some guests get taken care of but observed ignored guests get up and leave. Atmosphere sucks. Social distancing is well observed. I had not been to Red Lobster in years and definitely not to the one in Sebring. It was a pleasant surprise. The girls in the front were very friendly and sat me immediately. The wait staff came right along and took my drink order. I ordered the multiple course shrimp meal which was great. I believe it was like $15 and it came with bread, salad, soup, entree and dessert... can't beat that. To be honest, I had to take my dessert to go. Each course came so timely. The waiter was so attentive that he knew when I was ready for the next. My only complaints would be it was a little too dark and the restroom was dirty. read more

They don't take reservations, but they do take call aheads, and it was the Friday before Valentine's Day so we did the call ahead about 2:30 pm. We got there at 8 pm and were seated almost immediately. The girls at the front were very nice. Our waitress was named Elizabeth, and was very attentive, friendly, nice, and knew the menu - you just couldn't ask for a better waitress. The food was delicious, it was lobster-fest, and I had the lobster bisque, and lobster lover's dream. My husband had the ultimate feast with a split lobster tail, crab legs and several different shrimp, with a salad that looked great. Of course the garlic/cheese biscuits were great, they always are. Neither one of us could finish our food, we took a lot of food home. We also ordered the chocolate chip lava cookie dessert, but only ate the ice cream there and took the cookie home. The only thing that was slightly overcooked was the rock lobster tail. The split Maine lobster tail was cooked perfectly. I had half of the lobster and shrimp linguini and the asparagus today for lunch and it was delicious. We had some special drinks, called lobster mango something-or-another, and they were good, and you get to keep the glass. We each had one and split the third, as it was a lot stronger than the first two. Dinner came out a little slow, but I think that had a lot to do with the fact that it was the Friday before Valentine's and also because there was a large party group of 20 people right beside us. I decided to keep it simple and get lobster and naked potato...,I received zero condiments. No butter. No sour cream. Guess how good my food was.?? Go head... Guess. Really disappointed.
