We originally were walking to the restaurant next door but saw this place and it was very inviting. I walked in to check out the menu and received a warm invitation from our waitress, Valerie. We decided to stay for lunch - the pictures on the menu do not do this place justice. The food looked even BETTER when it came out. The food was hot, delicious, very generous portions and some of the best sauces I've ever had. My only disappointment is that they do not make you aware of the charge for refills. I think $3.00 for an iced tea refill is a little excessive. But it was a small price to pay for the overall experience. read more

Found this place by chance, While hungry hits on our way home from a Miami drive... The service was good- friendly. Loved the llamas everywhere friendly wooden looking floors. Super disappointed with our service we had. We were so looking forward to some amazing ceviche. The ambiance would have been good but they were setting up for their night cap vibes. Their CEVICHE, a signature dish in Peruvian culture, is not up to my standards, speaking as a person who dated Peruvian women and was introduced to all their dishes. My wife and I happened upon Peru Fresh, and the reviews and menu looked very intriguing. We spent the evening at the bar with Victoria as our bartender/server. She was amazing and helped us with recommendations from the menu. We got the Ceviche and the fried rice, plenty for two people and we ended up taking half the fried rice home. This is not Chinese style fried rice and was just delicious, even better the next day. The Ceviche was the star, just so good and amazingly FRESH, as Ceviche has to be. Plenty of other choices on the menu if you're not into Ceviche. They also had great entertainment, and we ended up meeting Shannon, one of the owners...such a welcoming and nice person!!! People smoking outside with doors open. They weren't serving specific appetizers. We may eat by midnight at this rate. It's 5:54 right now and we have 1 out of 3 plates. After over an hour and a half wait, we got food. Unfortunately it was not what we ordered! Mine was a dish with spaghetti with an absolutely delicious sauce that was creamy and yellow. I ordered it with chicken and it arrived with steak. My dinner companions ordered another dish with spaghetti that arrived TOTALLY different! No pasta and had fries! Our appetizer never arrived. So, even though they screwed up 3/4 of our orders it was still delicious! I hope if we go back there it will take much less time and they'll get our order right! Really good food, best and freshest I've had in a while. Different from anything you'll find in highlands county which is great in my book. Would be a great spot for a date. The food was amazing! The big llama is so cool to take a picture with! The service was very good. Even the owner himself helps out with the tables. Such a nice guy!
