We ate at DIMITRI's Restaurant and had a great experience. My wife ordered the Caribbean tacos and they were excellent. I had a bowl of French onion soup, which was very tasty, along with the patty melt and a side of sweet potato fries. Everything was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. Amber was our waitress and she was very attentive, polite, and genuinely nice. My wife asked for tiger sauce for the sweet potato fries--Amber hadn't heard of it before, but she graciously checked with the kitchen and had the cook mix some up for her. That extra effort really stood out. The food was excellent, the service was excellent, and the prices were very reasonable. We'll definitely be back.

Great food, great staff and great atmosphere. Every time we eat here it is delicious. They have formal dining, a pizza place and a bar all in one building. We usually choose the dining area because it is quieter but the Back Alley Bar is a fun atmosphere with great music. Not a huge fan of their pizza but it is pretty good still.

The best open face Turkey sandwich I have ever eaten!

It was a hot South Florida day when I walked into a very famous local eatery. Although specializing in Greek food it also has many Southern small town favorites. I chose the open face Turkey sandwich with a Spinach artichoke dip with homemade tortilla chips and a slice of Banana cream Pie! My tastebuds were on high alert. It was a little after lunch, so not so busy and I was greeted by a waiter almost immediately and shown to the lunch counter. I noticed the entire place was spotlessly clean (even the bathroom was immaculate and seemed freshly cleaned). My waitress Kayla was keeping pretty busy but greeted me and took my drink order a minute later, gladly giving me all her attention while she explained my choices. She brought my drink immediately and asked if I needed time to look at the menu, which I did (hoping she would disappear like happens so often at some restaurants). To my surprise as soon as I set down my menu she stopped what she was doing and gave me her full attention ( I wore sweat pants, needed a shave and certainly did not look like I had money or might be a good tipper) and treated my like a regular. She happily spent extra time with me as I asked many questions about the food. The Spinach artichoke dip was amazing and homemade, creamy and baked in a pizza oven until golden brown on top. The tortilla chips were fresh, crispy, with just the right amount of salt. I was in heaven! The open face Turkey sandwich consisted of 4 half's slices of regular store bought white bread but was surprisingly tasty. The Turkey was hand carved, the wonderful made from scratch gravy generously slathered over everything including the creamy just made tasting mashed potatoes. By far the best I had ever eaten! Last but certainly not least was the homemade Banana pie ( it was a hard choice as they had a glass case with at least 15 different homemade pies , cakes, muffins and others that I couldn't identify but looked amazing!). They looked good in the case and tasted better! Creaming Banana filling, flaky delicious crust and fresh whip cream. Easily in the top 5 of the I have ever eaten ( and I know my pies!). Completely satisfied and happy with the barely $30 tab, I proceed to put poor Kayla to test, first asking her for another cap, extra ice, a to go cup with a lid and many questions about the management, owners and wine and spirit choices. By then the restaurant has busy but she gladly gave me her full, undistracted attention. The service had been excellent, with the waitress's and waiters working together like a well oiled machine. This was my first visit but from now on I will happily drive the 14 miles from sleepy little retirement town to Sebring (home of the famous "7 Hours of Sebring" raceway and the jewel of Highlands County Florida! If I could give them 10 stars I would! Hands down one of most balanced restaurants I have ever dined in! Do yourself a favor and do not pass this wonderful establishment up if you're ever in Highlands County Florida.!

A perfectly fine Meatlovers Omelet for the carnivore in me!

Oscar is a real person and he's still there and an all-around great guy! So today I blew in for breakfast. Note this is a breakfast & lunch place that generally closes at 2pm. Arriving- They are on US Route 27 South in Village Fountain Plaza. It's hidden way in the back as deep into the plaza as you can get. Parking is plentiful. Ambience- Pretty typical for Central Florida. A nicely finished room that is light on the décor. Booths along the walls and tables in the middle. A small side room for the lunch Taco Buffet. Pro Tip- They do not have their own Wi-Fi, but a Xfinity Hot Spot is close by. Customer Service- My server today was adequate. She seated me immediately and I had coffee and a menu within a minute or two and said coffee was refilled when needed. Her personality was neutral. Adult Libations- If you come here for lunch, beer and wine are available! Food- This is a Mexican American joint, so you'll see both on the standard fare menu. I ordered the Chorizo Omelet with Home Fries and of course coffee. I paid a little extra for a side of Pico de Gallo. My tab pre-tip was $15. My omelet had a little kick and was truly exceptional! The home fries were just OK. A couple of pieces were undercooked, and a couple were burnt. The Pico de Gallo was crazy fresh and delicious! The coffee was excellent. I'm a sucker for Chorizo so you can take me here any time. Don't forget there is a Mon-Sat ACE Taco lunch buffet @ $10! Four stars!

The chips were hot and crispy while the salsa was thinner than typical, it had a great flavor. My wife had the chicken fajitas and I had the chicken burrito. At first, I wasn't even sure where the restaurant was because we had to walk past a beautiful building with rental rooms. But once we turned the corner and saw the restaurant, it literally took my breath away. There's outdoor seating that leads right to the beach, which looked incredible, but we chose to sit in another outdoor area surrounded by lush greenery and trees....and it was still such a beautiful experience. My friend ordered the caviar martini, and I had a taste & the caviar was absolutely divine. The service was quick, attentive, and kind, which made the experience even better. We both ordered our steaks medium, and they came out perfectly cooked. No notes needed. I also got lobster, macaroni and cheese and broccoli. The lobster macaroni and cheese was extremely creamy m, cheesy just enough and the noodles were shells which is always a plus for me. The broccoli is just plain steamed broccoli. The beach outside atmosphere is perfection and doesn't get any better. The indoors is nice, but a little stuffy so I recommend sitting outdoors here and pretty much everywhere in Grand Canyon. I ate 2 meals here and I thought the food was ok. The first was dinner with my daughter and I think the bread may have been the best part - the coconut they served with the butter was soooo good. We shared coconut shrimp (good), tuna tartare (so so) and a Cesar salad which we asked them to chop (pretty good). We finished with a sundae for dessert, which was good but didn't hold a candle to the other desserts i enjoyed in grand cayman all week. We went back for brunch our last day and were bummed that they didn't have the brunch menu on a Saturday. We weren't really feeling the menu so considered leaving, but we're short on time with a flight to catch so sucked it up. My son and I had the smoked snapper toast which was actually pretty good. My husband thought his club sandwich was just ok. My daughter enjoyed the kids mac and cheese and my other son the kids pizza. The pizza comes from a nearby restaurant so arrived an extra 20 min after the rest of our food. All our kids did say the pina colada's were perfection. I'd definitely recommend for the atmosphere, but preferred the food elsewhere (ms pipers and cracked conch to name a few favorites)
