Today we ordered Pizza at the Pizzeria at Dimitri's. The first time was awful but we had a hankering for pizza today so we thought we would try it again but what a mistake. We ordered 1/2 and 1/2 toppings. When we got the pizza basically one piece didn't even have any toppings on it and there was basically no pizza sauce either and the crust tasted like cardboard. I would never recommend this place for pizza ever. read more

My family and I ate here a few months ago and nothing was very good, wings were tough and dry and pizza tasted like the kind you would get from a gas station, service was great though and out door patio is awesome, just think it was an off day, it happens everywhere and we will go back. I do wish they had a menu for drinks though, I was told "just tell me what you want". I'm not a drinker so if I do want something I go by what is in it. Food is fine, Wait staff and Mgr not so much. Waitress with bad language who thinks seniors are stupid and cannot read a menu. Screwed up our order and stated we read the menu wrong. We overheard her telling other patrons that they read the menu wrong also. When confronted with her bad service started screaming at us. Stated she has been at the restaurant for 9 years and she didn't care if we left and never came back. Our server seemed to be dancing to music that only she could hear, I guess this is common in central Florida. The employees here obviously don't receive dental insurance and drug testing is not required. My "rare" fillet was probably microwaved and way over cooked. We worked in Sebring for a couple days and were attracted to the Back Alley bar part of Dimitris. It was raining like crazy and we sat outside. The food menu will let you order from all areas of Dimitris including the pizza place. The biggest thing we noticed was how reasonable the prices were. Man wish we had this where we live, but we live in a tourist Mecca and pay crazy food prices. My husband and I both got wraps and shared them. We had the turkey wrap and Philly steak. That turkey wrap was our fav of the two and the cranberry mayo really sets it off. We had salad instead of soup with our meals and had the coleslaw it came with. Everything was tasty and we left full. We could have probably shared one wrap and been full. We would come back any time we are working in Sebring and the menu is big enough that you won't be out of options anytime soon. read more

I have been here several times, years ago, and did a revisit yesterday. Greatly disappointed! Ordered the blackened grouper, when it arrived it was blackened.. it was baked with a lot of seasoning, the waitress said that's their blackened fish. I have only been to Sebring Fl twice and both times i have eaten at Dimitri's The first time on my own the second with my wife who is often a harsch critic. We both loved it. The Gyros are some of the best we have ever had. The service is quick and friendly and the prices are low compared with what I usually pay for a Gyro. The menu selection is huge with so many choices. I tried something new to me from the Greek menu. It was delicious!! Be adventurous and you won't be disappointed. This resturant is packed and with good reason. It's also a good place for large groups. One nice feature at the entrance is a wheelchair lift. And yes it works great. We just came back from Dimitri's! What a wonderful time we had. Sharing a Gyro that tasted so good I thought I was back in N.Y.C. What made it even better was our server Alley. She was spot on with suggestions, keeping our table cleared of clutter and cups filled with coffee. Did I mention she makes a mean hot cocoa with whipped cream an cinnamon on top! Alley adds the extra flare to an already excellent Dining experience. Check Dinitri's out and don't for get to get dessert! Cannoli's and chocolate fudge cake are my favorites. My dad and his girlfriend was in town for a few weeks and we want to try something new so someone told them about this place and when they told us where it was we were like awesome we always wanted to try it. My husband and dad got chicken fried steak they over cooked that, I got tenders they were like hard rubber and my dad's gf got some kinda fish she said it was a little dry. There was hardly anyone in there. Our waitress had to keep going find out a question for us which is ok maybe she was new but she really seemed like she hated her job. I'm not sure. I had a positive experience at the Palm Diner for a weekday breakfast. The specials menu appealed to me - why pay $9 for something they'll sell you for $6 - and so I went with the bacon and cheese omelet. As you'll see from the picture, the omelet had plenty of bacon in it. The home fries were nicely cooked, not too light and not too dark. The rye toast was perfectly crunchy. Plenty of coffee too. Other than the nurse with her very old patient, I was probably the youngest person in here by a good ten years. read more

I visited my father and he recommended dimitri's for lunch. What a nice, clean, welcoming place. Our waitress was busy with other tables and one of the other waitresses took our drink order. We noticed that the wait staff were all busy and were helping each other, which was nice to see. Our waitress Alee and the others were fantastic. Very helpful, attentive, and funny. We had a great time and highly recommend this place just based on the customer service and personalities; however the food was great too. Two of us had the gyro platter. The gyro meat was fresh, moist and tasty. The pita was fluffy and tender and the other toppings were fresh and flavorful. The fries were perfectly cooked and the cole slaw was a great accompaniment to the gyro and fries. My brother ordered the grouper tacos and before I had a chance to try one, he had already cleaned his plate. My brother let it slip that it was birthday and I chose a piece of chocolate peanut butter cake as my free dessert. It was delicious. Moist, light, rich, and decadent. We had very bad service with Michelle our waitress, we ordered our meal with soup and salad before the meal came; she brought our meal and we ask where our soup and salad was: she said oh I forgot then she went and got our salad and soup; I ask for coffee with my meal she never brought that, she kept hanging out at the bar talking to some girl, I finally went up and ask for my coffee, she not once came back to our table to see if we needed any thing, she was the worst waitress that I've ever had.the food was great. read more

We go here for breakfast a lot. And we go for dinner with another couple frequently. I really love their pizza it's the best I've had in this area...but you can't order it for dinner at the restaurant, I've ordered it from the deck, several times and and called to pick one up. The selection is wonderful. The bar is always packed at night and they have bands, but I've never gone inside the bar part. Although if you order a drink in the restaurant you'll have to wait quite a while to get it because it comes from the bar and the servers in the restaurant don't know much about what's available from the bar. The menu at dinner is huge, pages and pages. Some of the dishes are pretty good, some so so. The place in season is always packed. read more

The waitress was correct in saying the lunch ribs were fall off the bone and good. Problem was for almost 9.00 I'm guessing most of the meat from those 4 small bones feel off in the kitchen. Where's the meat?? 4 small end ribs literally lacking in meat. Ordered a chicken salad no olives, yep, lots of olives. Chicken and dumplings should be called a hearty vegetable soup. Dimitri's restaurant is good, never busy. They have a huge menu. I've had some really good things, like flaming cheese and flatbread ratatouille, and a few things that were meh. Service is good have had some fantastic servers. But here's the part I don't understand and what keeps it empty, on one end you have Demitris then the middle is a pizza place, and the end a bar with live music which is always full. They all serve each other so must be owned by same person. But to get a drink in the restaurant server has to go to the bar, and you can't get a pizza, unless you're sitting out side, and can't get one served in the restaurant although the pizza place makes the flat bread on Demitri's menu!! The restaurant would be full if they offered their really delicious pizza inside!! Maybe they're happy with an empty restaurant because the other business' are always busy. Their pizza is fantastic!! I give the pizza a 5 and the restaurant a 3.5. read more

We ate here while visiting family in Seabring. The service was very good and the iced tea was sweet, but not too syrupy. The menu has a ton of selections and variety (could be overwhelming for some patrons, myself included.) Our party of 4 ordered the following entrees, shrimp tacos, ham steak, hot wings and deep fried pork chops. When our meals arrived, we received the following, 3 shrimp tacos, 2 pork chops, 10 hot wings and probably the biggest slice of ham that I've ever seen served at a restaurant. Overall the meat and tacos were very good, especially the pork chops and ham. The sides were okay, nothing I would order again (the salads were plain with 1 cherry tomato in each and the fries were undercooked and mushy.) A clean restaurant that appears to do a booming business. I would recommend you try this restaurant, especially if your party is looking for a variety of cuisines, such as Greek, American comfort, Paninis, etc. Sorry no photos. read more
