Dee's has been a part of the old downtown area for many years, and it has all the charm you would expect from a local hometown restaurant. The building itself is full of character, with a beautiful mural on the wall, handmade quilts, and historic photographs that create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The food was very good. The biscuits were light, fluffy, and absolutely delicious--some of the best I've had in quite a while. The service was equally impressive. My waitress was attentive throughout the meal, making sure my drink stayed full and checking to ensure everything was prepared exactly as expected. I am glad to have gone there. Cute location in downtown. Hours very limited . 5am- 2pm, yet they have a dinner menu that the prices are less than their burgers. Burgers are big but not easy to eat. Prices a bit high at 3.50 for a soda, bacon cheeseburger with FF 14.29. Love the old building, its clean. Not happy witha staff table for 6 by the kichen entrance with staff . We will possibly try breakfast but lunch, I will pass Cashier could be suggestive on added sales because there are desserts there too. Brownies were HARD. read more

We live within walking distance to Dee's Place that is located off the circle in downtown Sebring. We meet a group of friends for breakfast at least three days of the week. The food is very tasty and always comes out quickly and hot. The omelettes are made with 3 eggs. They are stuffed with more than enough ingredients. Coffee is .99 cents. The pastries displayed in the glass case by the front door are house made. The cinnamon rolls are huge and spread with plenty of icing. The staff is pleasant. The restaurant could use a facelift and a few renovations but it is a charming place. We see many familiar faces. Dee, the owner, is very generous. She supports the High School sports teams and employs local students. Every third Sunday of the month, Dee transforms her restaurant to host a dinner with live Christian music. Reservations are highly recommended as the seats fill very quickly. There is not a charge for this event, however; there is a box placed at the front door for your desired donation. I recommend Dee's for a good meal, visit friends, and support local. read more

When you walk into this restaurant you know it's a local favorite and that's always a good sign. We were visiting Sebring and wanted to support the local places. The french toast was delicious with just the right amount of cinnamon and the eggs my friend had were cooked to perfection. The service was quick and the servers were friendly and attentive. If you want a good spot for breakfast, these folks do a nice job! They are within sight of Sebring Circle. Street parking is usually not bad and failing that, there is a small free lot adjacent to them. Atmosphere- This is a big place for a breakfast & lunch joint. My inside pic shows about half of it. It's bright and very clean and decorated with the usual Florida kitsch. The tables were appropriately Covid spaced. Customer Service- Very efficient! They seem to work as a team. My food was out quickly, and my coffee was topped off frequently. I would have appreciated a few more smiles but generally they got the job done. Food- We're talking a standard American menu with no surprises. You'll recognize everything. I ordered a Ham & Cheese Omelet, Hash Browns, and an English Muffin for $6.99. I lot of places charge extra when you substitute an English Muffin but not here. Nice! A bottomless cup of coffee was a buck. Everything I was served was cooked properly. It might not be obvious in my pic, but the omelet was huge! Oddly, when I cut into it, I would call it unbalanced. There was a massive amount of cheese and very little ham. It was tasty as hell but I'm definitely not going to tell my doctor about all that cheese. The hash browns were great, and the muffin was nicely buttered. I was completely stuffed! The sausage patties tasted like something that was left on the counter for several days, the bacon had no flavor at all, the biscuit tasted like flour, the gravy tasted like water, and the home fries which I asked for extra crispy weren't even cooked all the way through. Located a block from the main traffic circle in downtown Sebring, Dee's is quite the large restaurant with a pretty good flow of customers. I was here for about 40 minutes and watched the hustling waitstaff getting the customers seated, the food out and the tables cleared with a minimum of delay. For lunch, the "Meatloaf Melt" jumped off the menu at me and so that's what I decided to have today. It arrived quickly. Still hot from the grill, this was a nice sized sandwich with a good thick slice of meatloaf and plenty of cheese. On the side, the large portion of potato salad was pretty good with enough mayo and some mustard in there for kick. There is street parking if you can find it. The lot to the left of the restaurant has some spaces too, but don't block the utility company's spots! Good food, good service. I'm a fan! read more
