Commerce Family Restaurant is hands-down the best version yet. The new owners have completely transformed the experience. The expanded menu is huge now. I personally tried the 8-inch "Garbage Can" pizza and it was absolutely fantastic--perfectly loaded and great flavor. They still have a solid pizza and pasta lineup if you miss the old spot, but they also brought in a massive selection of burgers, specialty subs, and excellent homestyle dinners. They even serve breakfast and feature a full, fresh salad bar. Make sure you check out their display case because their fresh-baked goods are incredible. They have homemade sugar cookies, oatmeal raisin cookies, carrot cake, and more. Their new hours are way more flexible for the neighborhood too, opening early at 7:00 AM most days, which is perfect for downtown daytime foot traffic. Highly recommend stopping in to support these new operators, the food is much better and they are doing a phenomenal job!
