By all standards, this is the best Pizza you're going to get in Sebring by four! No if Ann or butts about it. Traditional Italian feel about the restaurant ambience. The lady at the front desk will never forget your name. And the quality remains the same every single time I go. Whatever happened in the transition between old owners and new owners has passed, and the quality has remained the same now sure they had a little hiccup for the first six months to a year after the sale was complete, but it's back to the old status quo now and by far those who have gone since are most pleased. Our family lives in Fort Lauderdale, FL, but we've been spending a lot of time in Sebring recently. This pizza, by far, surpasses much of the pizza in larger metropolitan areas where you might think could be better. Have you heard of Frank Pepe's pizza? It's suppose to be good, and we've given it four tries. Galati's Pizza, imo, is superior. The sauce is sweet and the crust is perfectly crisp and delicious. We tried their cheese and pepperoni. Galati's has been sold, and the family should have taken their name with them! The new owners have completely ruined what was a great restaurant. Had dinner from there last night and IT WAS TERRIBLE! Pizza was almost not eatable. Really tasted bad, crust and sauce. Personal pizzas are much smaller, fewer toppings and more expensive. Mozzarella sticks are smaller and really inferior quality - to be truthful we almost threw the food away. A waste of $42. Never going back. read more

Galati's Family Restaurant has always been my favorite restaurant for years. But now that the restaurant has sold, the food quality has left with the Galati family. They ruined their famous pizza by using cheap ingredients. The dough was horrible, the sauce tasted bitter, the size of the personal size pizza was way smaller and yet more expensive, and they were extremely frugal with the toppings. Overall, it was the most disappointing experience, and we wanted to throw the whole meal out. It's a shame the new owners ruined the best little Italian restaurant in Sebring. A super casual family-run joint slightly off the beaten track in Sebring. If you are looking for a straightforward Italian meal, you could do much worse. PRO TIP- This place is sensitive to the Snowbird population. So much so that they close for July & August. ATMOSPHERE- Dark wood all around with comfortable chairs and booths. They are divided into two small rooms. There is lots of local kitsch on the walls. Overall it is a very comfortable space. ADULT LIBATIONS- This is a beer & wine place with six or eight basic choices of each. That's important because a lot of folks like a brew with their pizza. CUSTOMER SERVICE- Absolutely fine. Our waitress had just the right amount of chattiness and checked on us perfectly. THE MENU- This is Italian Menu Design 101. You have your pizza and your pasta, your salads and your basic fried foods. I've seen it a thousand times and that's not necessarily a bad thing. BTW- They have a salad bar but it seems like an afterthought and has a sign that says "One Trip Only." THE PIZZA- Pick your pie size and pay a little extra for each topping. How many times have you seen that? We choose a small with homemade Italian sausage, meatballs, onions and black olives. It went for about $13. It arrived in a reasonable time and was cooked perfectly. I would call it a medium crust boarding on thin. It was not greasy which is important to me. The toppings were adequate but definitely not generous. I found the entire pizza tasty but under seasoned. That included not only the sauce but the homemade sausage and meatballs. I found myself staring at the salt & pepper shakers and that's not a good thing. If you are looking for a mild pie, you've found it! The atmosphere and the service definitely turned me on. I plan on returning to see if the lack of seasoning was and exception or the rule. read more

I'm not sure their hours because they were closed the first time I stopped by to pick up a pizza for dinner but when I returned for lunch, they were absolutely open. Nearly every table was taken, which is surely a sign of a successful restaurant. I chose the spaghetti and asked for one extra meatball. This came with a visit to the salad bar and I'd have to say that the salad bar is an afterthought. A bowl of salad, some chopped tomatoes, sliced beets, five different salad dressings and four different types of pasta or potato salad. I do like beets, so that was nice. The spaghetti was very tasty and cooked just a touch past al dente. Already mixed with the sauce with more sauce on top and served with two small bread disks that could possibly have been hamburger buns. Garlic bread. Ah. Well, it was good for picking up the last of the sauce, that's for sure. The meatball was about a two inches in diameter and was tasty. We really loved this place. We stopped in for lunch after a doctor appointment after looking for some place to eat on Yelp. It's a cute little eclectic family owned pizza place with the best employees in the world. Seriously, they need to give these girls a huge raise because they really make the place! The pizza is great too--very tasty--and made exactly to order. We ordered a half and half pizza (half all meats and half all veggies) and they even cut it perfectly so my husband wouldn't have to eat even one bite of my veggie pizza. The wait staff is seriously the best I've ever seen. Attentive, funny, always smiling, totally entertaining .... you just couldn't ask for anything more from an employee, they couldn't have been better if they owned the place! Even the girl bussing the tables was smart and funny and eager to help us. We got to chatting with another couple who were regulars and they said it was always this good. Galati's is a mediocre pizza parlor, and I'm surprised it's still open. The pizza is subpar "just barely a step above hungry howies". Pasta entrees taste like something thrown into a microwave with cheap canned sauce dumped on it. Now, normally if I go to a place and have a bad meal I just cross it off my list of options for eating out in this town. The reason for my negative review is the owner is a self righteous old crank who talks down to his employees and all around just treats them like garbage. We have been getting pizza from here ever since they opened. Last night we order a family style pie with A LITTLE EXTRA SAUCE.. We get the pie home, and it was drowning in sauce! Sauce ontop of the cheese! Under cooked! Cold in the middle! We order pep on one side and pep and mushrooms on the other.. The pep side had about 8 pepperoni's on it.. So my 67 year old mother calls to complain, and he starts YELLING AT HER! Saying it was her fault! And that the pie was not level.. IT WAS LEVEL! In the back of her SUV! No angles back there! Galati's serves up pretty good pizza. We went here while visiting my parents in Sebring, FL and they took us here for the "family size" pizza and it was GINORMOUS! Due to it's size, the round pizza was cut into more square type shapes. The crust was crispy throughout and the toppings were all evenly cooked, which was quite a feat due to the size of the pizza. If I could rate this slum zero stars I would. The wait staff is extremely rude and the owner is one of the scummiest human beings I've had the displeasure of interacting with. I ordered a pizza for carry out, got the pizza home and was appalled by what I gazed upon. I asked for a light sauce pie well done. What I got was something I would barely call a pizza it was covered in way to much sauce to even be palatable, it was limp and mushy and a galaxy away from every being considered well done. Now for the cherry on top, I called back in and asked if I could bring the pizza back and was told yes to come speak to the owner. When I drove all the way back and actually spoke to the owner he said he'd​ made the pizza himself and wouldn't take it back for a refund nor would he remake the pizza. So if anyone is looking for a crappy pizza with horrible customer service this is the place for you. Hungry Howie's has way better pizza for half the cost and they make it to order!
