They are a wonderful married couple and hands-on owners. Atmosphere- It's dark and like most dive bars they do allow smoking. However, they do have several high-tech smoke-eaters installed in the ceiling that mitigate the damage. There are multiple pool tables, electronic games, and dart boards. Plenty of TVs. A Touch Tunes juke box of course. A relatively small l-shaped bar. The entire space is very clean and in much better shape than many dive bars. In true dive bar fashion, they are open from 9 am to 2 am every day of the week. There's nothing like a shot and a beer for breakfast to get your day started! Customer Service- Some of the bartenders have been there, done that for decades. You'll have no problem with service. Expect your drinks to be cheap and don't look for anything fancy. On a hot Florida day, dark and cool and cheap drinks is much appreciated my many. If you are in the area, stop by for a pop or two or three!

My friend, Randy, said to her the sign says 9pm she told him she wasn't doing this with him right now cause she had a hard day. I asked if Randy and I could finish our pool game, and she said no cause they already said they were having a meeting at 8 pm. Which they didn't tell us until after we had already bought our drinks. I said that's BS, and she told me to get my ass out of her bar and that I could keep my ass and drugs oit of her bar. I told her I don't do drugs and she could test my ass. I then said half her staff does cococaine and called her a bitch as I was walking out. She threatened to kick my ass and the 6'5 bar back chic stood up acting like she was going to hit me. This was all while I was walking out to leave. Then after I left she called my boss, Penny, trying to get me fired. Thank God I have an awesome boss. Anyone can ask my boyfriend, Randy, Doug or Bill. They were all there when it happened. She then barred my friend Joie who used to bartend at Charlotte's cause she commented on my Facebook post which is identical to this post.

I'm a non-smoker but I tolerated it because I enjoyed the people and the other aspects of the atmosphere. After 15 years, as of January 1st, the Tap Room is now NON-SMOKING! My lungs are very happy! Management is taking steps to remove as much of the odor as they can. Other than this big news, this is your typical dive bar- * Cheap drinks * TouchTunes Jukebox * Pool tables and dart boards * Occasional live entertainment * No food other than packaged snacks Pro Tip- They have a back entrance with easy parking. It's not fancy but it's used more than the front door! Note that the parking lot is a disaster and needs to be repaved. Drive in slowly! Atmosphere- Like many dive bars, the crowd varies from day to night. The crowd is older and more sedate during the day and younger and a bit rowdier at night. The TouchTunes jukebox is extremely popular here with many folks using the app on their phones. Genres played are mostly Classic Rock and Country with a little Pop occasionally thrown in. The bar is very large and is a bit unusual as there are both low and high chairs in different sections. Note that many of the low chairs desperately need to be replaced so choose carefully where you sit your thirsty ass down! Adult Libations- The big joke is the Tap Room has no taps! That's right, no drafts here but plenty of mostly domestic bottles and a full liquor bar. Bartenders- This place has 5 bartenders plus an excellent manager that often tends bar. The bartender's range in age from 30s to 70s. They are generally decent with some more conversational than others. Now that's NON-SMOKING, I'd love to give it 5 stars but the parking lot and the collection of crappy chairs hold me at 4!

First, the fried shrimp (with a side of house made chips) and second, the Burgers, love their burgers. The staff is always helpful and remembers guest names after a few visits. The ambience is old Florida, but since I grew up in old Florida, that works just fine for me. If you haven't been there, give them a try, if you have been there and old Florida is not for you then don't go back. Lots of us like it the way it has always been.
