Not all Red Lobster chains are alike!! I love this one in particular because of the staff. The manager and servers/bartenders are amazing. The food is always too notch! There are closer Red Lobsters to my home.... but it's worth the drive to sit in Roosevelt's section! This visit we decided to pick 2 appetizers. ( because your visits can collect points) so ours was free. Yay! Then the Thursday special was a seafood feast for $20! I mean you can beat this! I was full from appetizers and bread so I got the salmon Caesar salad. Delightful! Oh and did I mention that Happy Hour is M-F 11-6. Omg the menu is great! $3 $4 $5 Drinks wine food. And it's not just in the bar area... it's the whole place. I know it's a chain... but if you want seafood and you don't want to break the bank.... Red Lobster is a must! Ask for Roosevelt! I've been at this location on several occasions. Most of the times during the beginning of the week. It's been ok however I have noticed very limited staff working. I went in last Tuesday with my wife at 530, and no staff was seen anywhere. After waiting a few minutes we left. No staff seen at the podium, bar or serving. There were a few tables so I'm guessing the staff were in the kitchen. Bottom line I didn't want to experience poor service due to limited staff. I think this is where management needs to step it up and ensure quality guest attention. read more

Lunch is definitely a lot more affordable than dinner prices. Our waiter Rashawn was fabulous! We came here to celebrate my birthday. The Caesar Salads were fresh and tasty with shaved Parmesan. My son enjoyed his endless shrimp dinner. He didn't care for the Mediterranean grilled shrimp, but he enjoyed six servings of Shrimp Scampi. I had the create 2 combination. They used large scallops. I prefer the small bay scallops they used to have. Moreover, there was an addition charge of $2.79 each serving (2). The garlic mash was alright. If I could give it a zero I would. Right from the beginning we were not welcomed nor acknowledged by the 2-3 staff that made eye contact with us. We were sat down after waiting 15 minutes and it was not busy at all. Mind you, I understand there is short staff now a days due to covid but it shouldn't be this slow when there are more than enough team members working on the floor including the manager. As soon as the host decided to sit us down, it took the server (can't remember her name) another 15 mins to attend us. At this point we already knew what we wanted to order due to how long we were looking at the menu. Surprisingly the food actually came out at a decent time, but my fiancé had burnt scallops and I had cold Mac and cheese. After our meal we decided that the only GREAT thing on the table was the Caesar salad and my sunset passion colada. Our server did check up on us one time after she dropped off the food, after that we did not see her again. Closer to the end of our meal, we were looking to get refills on our drinks but due to her lack of service we ended up not wanting to because we didn't want to wait another 15 mins! Note this, she was checking up on the surrounding tables, ignoring us. After we were done eating we were sitting there for 20 mins or so waiting for our check. My fiancé was trying to make eye contact with her and he said she was looking right at him while she was rolling up utensils in napkins. We decided we did not want to continue waiting so we got up from our table and talked to the manager near the bar area. The manager was very unprofessional and seemed to not care as we brought up the issue to his attention. He said he was unable to give us our check so he walked to where the server was and mentioned something to her. When the server came up to us she acted as if everything was ok and told us, "you can pay on this tablet" (WE DID NOT HAVE ONE ON OUR TABLE OR ELSE WE WOULD HAVE PAID). The manager did not seem to be doing his titled position, he did not apologize for the inconvenience nor did he want to be apart of the whole situation. That manager disappeared faster than Batman in his smoke bombs . Now that we finished paying we are ready to leave, as we are walking to the main front doors we were expecting to get a valediction but did not receive one. This has been by far one of the worst experiences we have ever gone through after a 6 hour drive back home from our vacation! This was a very traumatizing and unforgettable experience as my fiancé spoke about this the whole way home. Ordered 2 hours ahead knowing Valentine day would be busy. Showed up about 5 minutes later than scheduled and text here. After a second text 5 minutes later saying my food was on its way. Fast forward 35 minutes later and they are telling me that my food was given to someone else and they seemed to not believe that I did not get my food. After showing my paid receipt and texts showing I was there the manager finally refunded my money as I was not waiting another 10 minutes and just wanted to go. Had dinner with my wife here tonight. We requested a booth table in the bar so we could watch the tv. Our server from the bar Tyler was great. Took the family to Red Lobster everyone wanted seafood got lucky and got seated right away. It is Lobsterfest right now so there are a lot seasonal choices. My wide and I both ordered Bar Harbor Bake's served over linguine in a light tomato broth with lobster, scallops, mussels and shrimp delicious but a little undercooked several of the shrimps and mussels we still closed.They are served with choice of salad. My daughter chose Salmon New Orleans topped with shrimp in a creamy creole sauce also good if some of our shellfish had not been undercooked they may have gotten 4 stars. read more

I had a perfect experience at the Metro Center Red Lobster recently. The service was great as was the food. I was able to get the Endless Shrimp promotion that was going on and tried all of the different kinds of shrimp. All fantastic and I left very full. The shrimp languini is being served with the tails on. very awkward to eat. Was told they once pulled tails off, but no longer.

I ordered surf and turf, with the filet mignon and Maine lobster tail. However, the lobster tail was tiny. It looked like it would have come from a lobster that was not a legal size, barely a bite. I didn't want to make a complaint, as I was entertaining a friend and didn't want to put a damper on things. Also, I was visiting from out of town for the weekend. CRABFEST SCORE!!! Went in tonight with my hubby for my birthday dinner. Our server was a sweet young blonde lady. I wish I remembered her name because she was amazing! (I'm so horrible with names..grrrr) Started with a peach tea! So refreshing and tasty. Of course we got those amazing cheddar biscuits. Light crisp on the outside and steamy soft goodness in the center. Those biscuits will beat any diet will power, I don't care who you are! We both got the ultimate feast with a lobster tail, king crab legs, shrimp scampi, and sub the breaded shrimp for coconut shrimp. Everything was cooked to perfection and HUGE portions. I'm at the point now where I hate myself for eating so much but in the moment... it just felt so right! It was my birthday so they brought out a scoop of ice cream that said happy birthday which was tasty. Perfect to share since we were both so full already. Overall everything was great from the food to the service. Not one thing I would of changed. I feel like the prices are very fair medium range for a huge crab/lobster dish. Nice lunch with bosses! This was our Thanksgiving gathering. We had a great time together ! Not very crowded! Great service, fresh hot food, custom service was great! The waitress was extremely attentive to our needs. We had great appetizers Coconut Shrimp everyone favorite! Great lunch specials good conversation and the restaurant was very clean. The manager was extremely nice we didn't have to wait for a table! Hats off to the staff who waited on us! I'm sure we will definitely return to this location! DO NOT GO THERE!! I literally just ate there at 7PM tonight since it was their "Crab Fest" and I just threw up all the food b/c I'm pretty sure the lobster or crab fettuccine meat or the crab legs I had were bad. My best fiend took a bite of his same pasta and sent it back. I should've done the same other than he's super picky about how seafood can taste fishy sometimes so I ignored it. I feel a little better after throwing up, but the thought of the food makes my stomach churn. I went there to celebrate with friends and closing on a new place tomorrow at 8AM, but now I'm not sure how I'll feel. Thanks for making my first day in my new house a shitty one Red Lobster!!!!!! I have to give a shout out To my local Red lobster. During this last year they have consistently had such good food. I've taken my Grandchildren and they ordered off of the kids menu, the fish, the shrimp and of course macaroni and cheese. Often we have gone on Fridays and I've gotten the Friday fish special which is cod and the new hush puppies are delicious. Our family of six has also done the car side pick up with lobster, crab, shrimp and all the wonderful sides. Today is Friday and they have requested Red Lobster. Thank you RL for keeping your restaurant open and not changing how good your food is. This is our little slice of heaven. We have our favorites it includes our waitress. A few friends and I decided we wanted to grab a late bite. This location closes at 10, and we were those guys that cruised in at 9:50. We all have worked in the industry at some point so we know how disheartening it can be, but we were planning on just being in and out. Our server, Jeremy, did a great job. He was on point with refills, cheese bread refills, and pre-bussing. He was courteous and attentive, especially for it being that late at night. We ran a $90 tab and left 20%, so I'm sure he ended up being cool with it. I ordered the Lobster, Scallops, and grilled shrimp combo platter and it was delicious. I got rice and broccoli with it, and added a Caesar salad, and a lobster bruschetta to start. Everything but the broccoli was good. The grilled lobster tail was tasty, and while the texture of the scallops seemed overcooked, I was still delighted with the flavor. It was a good dining experience all around. In at 9:50 and out by 10:30 with no rush on the restaurants part. Appetizer, salad, entree, and then time to eat. So, my neighbor invited me out to dinner at the last minute and suggested we go here. I haven't been to a Red Lobster in ages, and wasn't sure what to expect. Yes, I've seen the commercials, but the last time I think I actually set foot in one was around the summer of 1997. Anyways, we came here and I have to say, I actually had a really good time. The place was pretty busy, with lots of families and couples dining here having a good time. We started out with the hot spinach, artichoke dip that had some seafood in it. That was pretty good, but was super duper hot! Dam near burned my mouth! lol. For dinner I went with a trio plate, that came with a lobster tail, some barbequed shrimp on a stick and some shrimp in a lemon butter sauce. Surprisingly it was all really tasty!! the rice was a little under cooked for me, but it was okay and I only took a few bites. The salad was good and they also had some great biscuits before we had our meal that I liked as well. I also treated myself to a margarita and I liked it. It didn't seem to have a lot of booze in it, and kind of tasted a bit weak in my opinion. more booze in the drinks please!!! What really made my night was the service we got. I loved our server! She was awesome! I can't remember her name, but she was so good, that she would make me want to come back because she really paid attention to us. Personally, I am not an advocate for most large chain restaurants, so this will be one of the few reviews you will see of mine for a chain. With that being said, what can I say about Red Lobster (RL) that hasn't already been said. You get what you expect to get at Red Lobster. The food is good, not particularly great, and is slightly overpriced for the quality. I had the skewered garlic shrimp, while most individuals in my party ordered the snow crab. The shrimp was well cooked and season but ordinary. Personally, I thought that the side dish of rice was the highlight of my meal. It was well seasoned and textured. The snow crab, which I had bites of, was good! Dip it with a little bit of butter, close your eyes, chew and voilà, you're at a 5-star seafood restaurant. The service was good, we dearly promptly and proudly. One of the seafood specialists seemed mildly condescending, but our waitress was well spoken and kind. This particular location had great artwork, interior design and lighting, all of which I was pleased to dwell in. All in all, RL is what is, and they know that. You can expect good food that is slightly overpriced. RL bats 5th in the batting order. By that I mean, they don't hit many homeruns, but they consistently get on base. read more
