Golden Curry Bowl
Kathleen W.

I would have to agree with the others that it's a little pricey for the amount of food they give you. That being said, I was surprisingly full after eating half of my golden curry bowl. It could be the nature of the wholesome nutritious ingredients used, but still kinda pricey when there are many alternatives in the area offering healthy to go foods. I do like the fresh ingredients they use and the variety of bowl types on their menu though. I also like the fun side options that came with it. We ordered online and got it delivered, each meal comes with a baguette and chocolate dipped strawberry! Try it for a different type of salad bowl experience/flavors (see menu), skip it if you're starving and want more bang for your buck.

I love the hot honey cottage cheese bowl, I was so excited to get it for lunch. I was a little disappointed that the sweet potatoes were way under cooked and were hard, I had to pick them all out. I ordered at the screen for the drive thru. My total for the bowl was $15.28, but the guy at the window rounded up my change to $15.30 (which I thought was odd) but it wasn't a big deal since it was only 2 cents. My strawberry was only half dipped.

The Golden Curry is thick and creamy. It is warm tasting, not hot. The salads are very fresh tasting and they are very different from each other. So are the soups. I cannot recommend the sandwiches. Condiments, such as mayonnaise are too liberally applied. Atmosphere is a problem. There is nothing to soften the echo. The personnel who wait on you must be very tired of talking over that din. The will not talk unless necessary. They will not speak any louder no matter how many times you ask. Bring a pen& paper to facilitate communication. Also, bring a pair of binoculars. You will need them to read the menu. Parking is scarce. I had to park 300 feet away. They had only one handicapped spot that never was empty. There were three other parking spots for pickup. They never had any one in them. The drive through was used heavily. Bathrooms were available and clean. The food is grate. You pay for it out of your pocket at the register. Before that and after you are done, you pay for it with the din, wait staff that whisper and other general inconveniences. Twice I have been there. Twice it was that way. It could be much better. The food is great. Paying twice is not so - uh good.

This is a restaurant that focuses on rice/vegetable bowls, soups, and salads. The design of the place is aesthetically pleasing to the eye even if some of the floor is quite dirty. Service was quite amiable. I decided to try a Korean Kick bowl which includes rice, shredded brisket, potatoes, cauliflower, edamame, cucumbers, applies, and argula. I also bought a turkey avocado club which comes with a small amount of bacon, mixed greens, tomatoes, avocado and cheese with their special sauce. Unfortunately, the Korean kick wasn't much of a kick and the the club sandwich were all average tasting. The in-store menu does not tell you what's in each item so you would have to browse the website beforehand to see any allergy info. Their nutrional chart is super outdated on their website too. I got a Vitamin water with my order which came out to a total of $25.27. The soup is premade. I wanted to try some but most of them had at least one ingredient that I did not like. Note that all the sandwiches come with a roll of bread and one chocolate dipped strawberry.

Actual lobster in the Lobster Bisque soup. Finally!!!

This has to be the best Zupas location that I have been to so far. The lobster bisque soup is exactly what it is supposed to be. Most locations are watered down and have no substance at all. This location has great flavor, not watery, has actual lobster pieces in the soup. Their salads are up to par and they are friendly. Parking lot is not great. It's pretty small.

All lettuce this is supposed to be a barbecue chicken salad I don't think so

Soup & Sausage Bistro is one of them, serving Ukrainian and Polish cuisine. Parking won't be a problem in the lot they share with several other businesses. Ambiance (3/5): Don't let the simple decor or the non-descript exterior fool you. While it's a casual restaurant, and a small one at that, I'm judging this restaurant mostly on the quality of its food as Eastern European food is generally hard to come by. You order at the counter and then they bring your food to you. There are five or so tables, so tiny as I mentioned. While casual, it is homey. Service (3/5): Pretty average service. They don't check on you. They're not overly friendly. Yet, once again, it's the food I'm primarily concerned about here. Drinks (4/5): Soft drinks and Eastern European beer for the most part. They have a nice selection of Ukrainian beers, which was a first for me. I enjoyed trying something new. Food (4/5): Now for the good stuff. As you would expect, there is a lot of soup and sausage on the menu. Including some famous one like borscht and Polish kielbasa. I've also tried their chicken meatball soup which was solid, but if it's your first time, go with the borscht. Don't let the purple color (from the beets) steer you away. Beyond soup and sausage, they have a lot of other classic dishes including pierogies, chicken Kiev, potato pancakes, and blintzes. And if you're looking for something sweet, their top seller is the honey cake. As good as it sounds. Everything I've had at Soup & Sausage Bistro has been above average to great. They have some nice combos that allow you to try a variety. The prices are affordable. Join their rewards program by entering your phone number at the kiosk and you'll get deals. All in all, great value for the money. And if you've never had Eastern European food before, it's a treat.

I tried the og - which historically is beef, potatoes and root vegetables and it was definitely thick and filling - the red wine gravy is a must on it as it's a little dry otherwise. My wife tried the Guinness stew one and that was the winner in my book - umami rich, ultra savory tender beef stew with good vegetal notes. Walked in to a nearly empty restaurant -- just one other customer -- and wasn't greeted. The AC was off with only a few floor fans running, making the space feel suffocating. After waiting 30 minutes for my spring rolls (in an almost empty restaurant), they arrived with no peanut sauce and zero apology from the staff. By this point I was flushed, short of breath, and feeling faint from the heat and poor air circulation. I politely let the male server know I was overheating and felt like I might faint. His response? He told me the AC was on and to "drink more water" -- in a rude, dismissive tone -- then walked away to greet a new customer. I packed up my spring rolls to go and paid without a word. He didn't seem surprised. It felt like this was a pattern he was used to. After leaving I checked other reviews -- long wait times, poor atmosphere, and rude staff are recurring themes. I'm adding my experience to save others the trip. Don't waste your time or money here.
