I grew up eating at Jason's Deli in TX so I am very familiar with their food. The Texas BBQ potato was always a family favorite. This store is a good representation of the chain. It was clean and lots of seating. I like the chill music and it wasn't too loud. I could actually have a conversation. Overall the main dish was are good. This trip, we had the Muffaletta sandwich and the dill pickle wrap. Both were delicious. The sides leave a bit to be desired. Their Mac and cheese tastes like cafeteria Mac and cheese. Chips are chips. Nothing special. They still have their salad bar, which was always a big hit. And don't forget to get your free ice cream. Overall a solid three stars. read more

Looking up online told me this deli has a few locations. The one here is at Metro Center, with limited parking in the lot, the adjacent mall parking is relatively close, if you don't mind navigating the population of homeless camped out back. JD is huge cafeteria style deli. Order at the front left and get your tray to grab a salad and remember to leave your number visible to receive your sandwiches. The one-trip salad bar is big enough. We all had a combo of sandwich and salad bar. The bar was sufficiently stocked with veggie items and cold salads, toppings etc. they have an ice cream station too that is complimentary. Grab a seat and wait for your sandwich to arrive. Staff visit to see if you have what you need. Very nice and quick. The bathroom code is at the top of the receipt if you need it. I was really disappointed in my sandwich. After they messed it up twice, I just didn't even bother taking it back again. On their menu, there's a list of breads that come toasted and a list of those that don't. Rye is on the list of those that are not toasted. Wonderful! I don't want my sandwich toasted. Fantastic assortment of leaves, dressings, vegetables. Check out the picture I took and you will not regret it. As for the sandwich, the meats, vegetables and croissant were good but itt was a bit dry and could have used some more honey mustard. Still, a good stop for quality food. I know Metrocenter is not what it used to be. The young lady on the phone took our order and the manager, Michael, personally brought us our food, which was fresh, tasty, and with the usual generous portions. I had a view of the salad bar, which was indeed popular. Our orders came out quickly. I had the turkey wrap, which tasted incredibly fresh and good. Along with that I ordered steamed vegetables. Now, steamed vegetables are a simple thing that many restaurants cook to mush. These veggies were PERFECTION, soft and crisp all at once. Also, there was a good amount of them! I felt like I had a good-sized meal to carry me through the afternoon. I'm obsessed with the steak po'boy. That spicy relish just makes it, it's so delicious! The muffulettas are delicious as well though definitely on the salty side. Their soups are also delicious, I love the chicken pot pie soup, but I'm not a fan of the puff pastry they serve with it only because it's always a bit underdone. I love Jason's Deli! Perfect place where there is multiple items everyone in the family can get. Tons of menu options! The restaurant is huge and kept clean! You walk up to order, get a number and then they will bring you your food. They have an awesome huge salad bar. You can purchase a 1 time trip to Salad bar or all you can eat. The salad bar has all the normal fixings and more...tons of dressing choices, pasta salad, corn, pudding, corn bread, you name it! My husband got "The Rachel" sandwich and loved it. Nice size sandwich and a ton of meat. I got the plain Jane baked potato and the thing was MASSIVE!!! size of a regular size plate! Easily be an entire meal or split with someone. It was delicious though. They even have complimentary soft serve ice cream to finish off your meal. We come here all the time and It never disappoints.
