I've been here a few times for breakfast and for lunch. Both times have been very pleasant. Today I had the "Scott's Perfect Rueben-Rueben" with pastrami on an onion roll. It comes with fries and a pickle. It was all very good. In fact, this place is now my favorite pastrami place in the valley, surpassing the Miracle Mile "Straw", which is also excellent. The service is always very good and it's never really been very busy any time I've been here. This place is in a strip mall, but it has a very nice diner vibe to it.

This is a nice small spot that sells omelettes, skillets, corned beef hash, pancakes, sandwiches, salads, and more. I tried out their veggies skillet, chicken noodle soup, and cheesecake brownie. The worst part of the skillet was its main ingredient: the potato. I asked for no onions several times and I still found onions in there. The chicken soup was actually good but it had a random piece of bone in it. The cheesecake brownie sounded great on paper but the item itself was simultaneously worse than most cheesecake and most brownies I've ever eaten. I also tried a knish and it didn't sit well with my stomach unfortunately. Overall, a slightly below average experience here.

Kasha Knish

This, one of many times, I ordered a Kasha Knish. What I got was Potato Knish, I think. Please review the accompanying pictures. The lighter one is from Scott's. The other was not. I did get to sample the meat Knish. That has pastrami and potato inside. As any good pastrami-related substance, it was in dire need of mustard, which, for all time and forever, you add yourself. The taste was terrific. All the Kinishes had a thin baked crust. They were delicious as they were. I did not complain to the waitstaff, so I have no excuse, but please be forearmed; you have been forewarned.

We stopped here for breakfast on our way to flagstaff. We were greeted and told to sit anywhere. Our waiter came over right away and took our drink order. We found several things that interested us. We finally settled on our orders (pics provided) and our food was really good. The bagel with the homemade lox cream cheese was fire . Literally the best dish IMO. But everyone loved their food. The only thing I have to say is the home fries were just ok. Needed something but some salt and cholula fixed them right on up. There restaurant was cozy and there is outside eating as well.

Huge Rueben to go.

Stopped in for the first time and ordered the Scott's Perfect Rueben-Rueben to go. This is a great deli! Nice large clean Restaurant and great options in the Deli. The rueben was perfect and huge with more than enough fries. Looking forward to getting back and enjoying something different off the menu.

We've known Zeus since his skateboard years. Proud, caring Dad.

You want authentic New York Kosher Deli, with all the deli delights? This is the place. Our server friend Zeus, we've known him 12+ years works here. We stop by now and again for breakfast. Portions are generous, coffee good, display case contents tempting. Service by Zeus, friendly, inviting setting. All Scott's Generations proudly depicted on the East wall.

We saw all the desserts right when we walked in and let me tell you, sooooo good. We settled for deli sandwiches and some salads. All very good. I plan to try everything on the menu so this will one of many reviews. The value was quite reasonable and we had leftovers, so two meals from one sandwich! So much meat on it that you fill up fast. The best part about being in the deli is the atmosphere. There is a full grocery store of Italian foods, people eating at the dining area and ordering going on at the deli counter. It is a fun place to be. Highly recommend!

I stepped into this joint and transported back in time - Sunday after church, five years old again with my grandparents, standing at the counter of Giannella's in Paterson, NJ. With the exception of the cashier dude, the staff was...uh..."mezza morto," and definitely in need of some Italian or Italian-American inspiration. A little life. A little rhythm. A smile perhaps. I ordered a chicken cutlet sandwich, add wet mozzarella, hot soppressata, roasted red peppers, oil, and balsamic.. The cutlets were too thick and the mozzarella, although fresh, was strangely tasteless. Apparently this sandwich was infused with gold, crypto, or something because it rang in at $24 with the add-ons. My person had the eggplant parm, which unfortunately was over-seasoned with only a slight trace of mozzarella. The marinara on the side was undefinable. We hit the bakery on the way out. The sfogliatella and cannoli were great, and so were the ladies behind the counter, warm, lively, and actually happy to be there. Look, I'm goin' back to Romanelli's. I'll even pay another $24 for a sandwich. There's a reason this place has been there for decades, and they deserve another shot.

One of my favorites to get is their spaghetti and meatballs meals. It comes with salad, garlic bread and the spaghetti and meatballs! Let me tell you the spaghetti and meatballs are so delicious! Some others that are definitely worth mentioning is their pizza buying per slice (great portion size btw), and their pastas! A must when visiting is getting their pistachio Dubai chocolate cannoli! Their cannolis are made fresh and they really are amazing! The espresso tastes amazing! One thing that really stands out to me is that this deli/ grocery has been in business for a long time and the owners/employees are so welcoming and make you feel at home! They welcome you with genuine happiness. They have outdoor seating and they offer to go. They do have 2 spots for accessible parking and a few ramps. The aisles are pretty tight but if you ask the employers they are more than willing to help out! The entrance of the store is accessible and it's easy to move around.

The latke was a bit burnt on the edge as you can see in the pix. It was still good with the innards being soft. It is a hefty latke especially good with applesauce. The first thing that stands out is the massive, beautifully maintained outdoor seating area. It's covered, pet-friendly, and thoughtfully designed with fireplaces and privacy walls that give each table a more intimate feel. There's even an outdoor bar where you can grab a drink while you wait or just enjoy the atmosphere. Inside, the décor is incredibly creative. Butcher knives and custom cutting boards line the walls, and the open kitchen showcases hanging meats so you can see everything in action. The bakery area adds another layer of charm, with rolling pins and whisks hanging from the ceiling, it all feels intentional and immersive without being over the top. The menu is just as fun and different as the space itself. I started with the Sicilian wedge and then had to go for what they're known for, the handcrafted meatballs. You can mix and match meatballs with different pastas, but the real showstopper is the "meatball carousel." It lets you sample multiple meatballs with their recommended sauces, all presented on an elaborate Ferris wheel-style display that turns heads across the restaurant. It's a full experience, not just a meal. Everything we tried was absolutely delicious. What truly made the night, though, was our server, Mia. She struck that perfect balance of fun and professional, engaging, attentive, and genuinely enjoyable to interact with. She guided us through the menu, made great recommendations, and brought a level of energy that elevated the entire experience. You can tell she takes pride in what she does, and it shows. For dessert, we went with the traditional Sicilian cannoli stuffed with Nutella and a lemon tart that was so good I'd honestly consider flying back just to have it again. This place delivers on every level, atmosphere, creativity, food, and service. I'll absolutely be making this a regular stop anytime I'm in Phoenix.
