There were three of us and for the salads, two of us only had half a bowl - did they run out of salad??? Mine was Caesar with Romaine lettuce - where's the Romaine???? All I got was half a bowl of the white stalks. Thought Lobster Fest would have good prices, but not any better than anywhere else. Didn't like the Alfredo sauce at all and the noodles weren't fully cooked. I noticed there were very few customers there compared to two years ago. I can certainly understand why. I decided to try ordering through DoorDash. I picked some things I thought would travel well. I ordered the chilled lobster and shrimp rolls. What an incredible rip-off for $18.99. Mostly tasteless shrimp. There was no actual lobster, just what looked like the fake crab you get at a salad bar. Two tiny sides and a tiny piece of key lime pie. My husband and I have dinner here at least once a month. We usually order the lobster pizza or coconut shrimp for an appetizer. Both are very tasty. The various grilled & fried fish, snow crab legs, and shrimp dishes are always seasoned and cooked appropriately and served hot. The cheddar bay biscuits are always fresh from the oven. The broccoli is lightly seasoned- not over cooked or soggy, and the salads are always fresh. One of the reasons we enjoy coming here is because the food & service are always consistent. We've had several servers who have been there for a long time and recognize us when we visit. They are prompt, friendly, and professional. The Mango Mai Tai is out of this world, and the Bay Breeze & Strawberry Passion Colada are also worth a try. We will continue to be regulars! read more

I can't say that I'm surprised at all. It appears they just don't want input known to the public and want to just ignore it in-house. This location clearly doesn't care at all about the customer and I heavily recommend avoiding this location. They just don't care and it is very clear. read more

What a difference a year makes. I went again, a year later, got the same grilled lobster and shrimp. This time the lobster and shrimp tasted like they were cooked on a dirty grill or something...way too smokey/burnt tasting, even though it didn't look burnt. The waiter never once came back to check on us and ask it everything was okay and never refilled the water glasses. I had asked for extra lemon, and they never did bring that. After the meal, I paid with a gift card. The waiter never returned with change or in anyway gave me back the money on the gift card (my order, with tax, came to less than $20...the gift card was for $25). I finally asked him about it...he said he asked if any of us wanted money back (he may have asked one person, but he never asked me). He never should have assumed that the remaining money on the gift card was his tip (that would have been about a 25% tip--I tip 20% if service is good, 15% if it is okay...he wasn't that good, definately didn't deserve 20% much less 25%). I guess he figured that since I was with friends that I wouldn't say anything. I thought of saying something to the manager to let him know this guy was doing this, but let it go...but did get some of my change back. Still left him 15%, even though I felt like he deserved to be stiffed after that. Table service by friendly servers who can explain the menu items made the experience enjoyable. My individual faves are the fried popcorn shrimp, and the clam strips. My fave entrée is the Admiral's Feast. All he lobster items are winners, and all the combos that had lobster in any form were tasty great. Veggie sides were nicely prepared, and potatoes too. Nautical décor is cheerful and pleasing to the eyes. Very clean inside and outside parking lot well lighted and clean. Nice clean rest rooms. Enjoy this good experience. read more

I've been to this red lobster a few times recently and overall I can only say that it is "Ok." The service has been overall average, one server appears nice, the next appears to be rushing. The food tastes good though I wouldn't say it's the best quality, just a bunch of oils, sauces, and spices to cover it up. If their biscuits were sold in the super market I don't know if I'd go into the restaurant. Overall I can just say Red Lobster is "Ok." read more

I typically don't eat seafood from so-called Seafoid Restaurant chains. But, they were having a special and they were on Door Dash. Someone needs to teach their "chefs" how to cook seafood that is out for delivery sitting in a styrofoam/plastic container that holds the heat. Nothing like rubbery lobster tail and shrimp. This store is terrible. Hours listed are until 10:00PM. Parked the car behind the building at 9:00PM staff was out back. Proceeded to the door, and it was locked. An hour early. Even with staff standing out back they didn't even have the nerve to tell us they closed early. Will NOT be coming back to this location. read more

What happened to Red Lobster? I used to go there as a kid and I remember it being a nice restaurant. First, the upsell - I was sitting down for about 2 seconds and my family was parking. The server was like " how about a bahama mama or a mojito while you wait" - no welcome to Red Lobster, just get some overpriced drinks NOW. I ordered water, when she came back she's trying to do the upsell again on appetizers. Didn't really make you feel warm and fuzzy. The biscuits which I remember as being super yummy were super greasy and no one ate them. The food is expensive! I ordered the Seafood sampler with lobster, and grilled shrimp and garlic shrimp. It was pretty good, but the shrimp is literally drowning in butter, it really doesn't look appetizing. The kids got popcorn shrimp and their fruit side was three pieces of an orange. The MIL ordered the salmon which was on their tableside flyer as one of the days specials. The server came back to tell her that it wasn't available, really? Salmon that is listed as today's special? And, you don't know that it's no longer available? The MIL picked the trout and those are really different fish, I really think that the server should have recommended something similiar - also, the entree was spicy and MIL hates anything spicy, so that was it for her. The bill came to $100 for 3 adults and 2 kids and the experience was just kind of cheap feeling. There are much nicer restaurants that are worth the price. read more

I pretty much only came here to try the biscuits, and they were amazing. The rest of the food was pretty alright...I assume it was on par with other Red Lobsters. Came here on 6/26/16 for my birthday lunch/dinner and the service and food were spectacular! I had a berry mango daquiri to start and boyfriend had a beer (of course) and the daquiri was so delicious! very sweet and complemented my meal very well. They had a special going on that had a dish of lobster tail filled with stuffing of some sort, as well as a shrimp pasta dish with bruschetta and crispy fried shrimp and grilled shrimp skewers. very VERY yummy and the biscuits were plentiful as well. had a great waitress to top it off! read more

What a difference a manager can make. We went to Red Lobster for dinner, and the last time we came here they were very accommodating about my girl friend's Gluten intolerance. The manager made a point of coming out and working hard to ensure that she got a delicious meal that did not include gluten. This trip to the same location, there was no consideration at all by the manager on duty. She basically said that they could prepare a (very) few dishes "plain" and possibly add salt and pepper to them. What a disappointment! We ended up requesting a check for our beverages and leaving. I sincerely hope that Red Lobster will become more conscientious of the needs of many of us in regards to wheat allergies and gluten restricted diets. Hopefully this Yelp article will be read by their management and they will begin to make accommodations in this regard. read more

Went to Red Lobster for our anniversary, and we had the ultimate feast! The Maine lobster tail was delicious, and our amazing server Nicole let us substitute the fried shrimp for Sea scallops! Our meal was delicious and timing was perfect. The excellent service really made the difference. We will definitely be going back soon! read more

We had the chance to dine at the Red Lobster in Frederick this past weekend. Having been a patron in the past, we thought we knew what to expect. Instead, we found ourselves very pleasantly surprised by both service and food quality. Our server was thoughtful, warning us that the ordering system was experiencing issues and the wait might be slightly longer. It wasn't! The food itself was expertly prepared, from those heavenly biscuits to the appetizers, entrees and dessert. This is a place that knows what they do well, and they focus on it. The interior is lit in such a way to be understated, not garish like most chains. I strongly recommend Red Lobster on the Golden Mile. They're on top of their game! read more

PROBLEM WITH A CAESAR SALAD The first thing server Tashwana brought to me was dismally limp, too much overaged lettuce In a Caesar salad. The lettuce did not look at all like Romaine, the required lettuce for a Caesar salad. Even the few broken up croutons looked like they came from the bottom of a mashed up bag. Please note two problems here. First the kitchen should have never have let this be picked up by a server. Second the server, Tashwana should have looked at the salad bowl, and then should have asked the kitchen to give her a really fresh salad. I immediately sent this salad back and skipped having a salad. Other items were just barely ok. Shrimp pot-stickers lacked enough dipping sauce. The lobster entrée styled as the "Ultimate Feast" was a good choice. The small entrée, "Fried Lobster and Waffle" was a fun dish. The side dish of asparagus was fresh looking and nicely prepared, with good quality. This restaurant has been much better in the past. The dining area is clean and bright looking. My husband and I came here on a Friday night for dinner, which is a rare treat these days as we have 4 children 16,3.5,2.5 and 7 months old. So anyhow it was very nice to be waited on for a change and our waiter was excellent!! He was very attentive and kept the service consistent throughout our meal. The food was great and it really was a different experience as far as Red Lobster goes, we used to frequent Red Lobsters in Baltimore when we lived there and they always left much to be desired to say the least. It truly was an awesome experience and I'm sure we'll be back as my husband was very pleased and that is not easily done lol. I gave them 4 stars only because the alcoholic beverages were a little weak even for me who doesn't drink much. I would recommend going here if you want a nice meal and great service. read more

Went last night. Tried to eat at the bar, however the bar tender was more interested in her plans after work, than taking care of customers. Complained to the manager, was told " well you know how it is". Uh, no I do not know "how it is". There are a lot of people looking for work. I had a terrible experience here. Jeff was our server and he was extremely passive aggressive and rude. My order was not correct and when I told him he just walked away from the table. We sat for quite a while and after he didn't come back I asked another server to get him. He came back after a lengthy time and when I explained that my order was not right he said he would get the manager and walked away. I spoke to the manager and while my meal was being re-made, Jeff came back and snared at us as he took our dishes without saying anything. I know what you may be thinking. We were not rude to him in any kind of way. It felt like he didn't even treat us like we were human beings. I was so upset at the way he treated us that I didn't even finish my dinner and I didn't want to be around his negative and rude vibes so I just got up and we left after settling the manner with the manager. The food was good and the hostess was super sweet, and the manager was very professional and kind and took care of everything. If it were not for Jeff I'd give this place at least 4-5 stars but one bad apple spoils the bunch. People like to judge you when you walk into a restaurant but every human being deserves to be treated with respect, especially if you are in the business of serving. I think Jeff would be better suited for working at a towing company because his personality would fit right in. read more

Went here for dinner today after my grandaughter's dance recital. I have to say our experience was surprisingly excellent. The service was great (thanks Erica!) The food was outstanding. The mushrooms stuffed with lobster and shrimp were to die for. We each had different entrees and they were all great. When they say something has lobster and shrimp, they aren't kidding. Big chunks of lobster in the mushrooms as well as the pot pie.We didn't have anything we didn't like and that's saying a lot with a 7-year-old. No wonder they most always have a wait. I love this place! Seafood is my absolute favorite!! I hear all these complaints about " not getting fresh lobster from the tank" you have to ask to do that dummy's!! Remember when you where a kid and wanted to pick one out and the waiter took you over, and you picked one out, the scooped it up and took it to the kitchen, then you felt horrible when u saw it cooked on your plate because you picked that ones faith, lol, you have to ASK to pick one from the tank, if not they are just going to bring u one from the freezer or wherever. Love the food, just wish it wasn't so expensive, but hey I'd pay to go there...only on a special occasion or holiday, this isn't a eat out every day kind of place. read more

I have never been to red lobster before but today I went with my very picky family. The wait was very short and all the staff we interacted with was fantastic. My dad was not happy with his food he said it was to watery he got the southern king crabs. My dad is also the most pickiest and is not a fan of seafood. But everything me and the rest of my family got was absolutely fantastic!! I would definitely go back again. Our waiter was great. The manager this evening was having a private conversation so loud that I could not enjoy my dinner. The servers that work this evening to a really good job and work hard the food was okay but this man is your needs to go back to corporate training and be penalized for suspended for a day or two to really reinforce that her private conversations should stay outside of work. read more

Visited on 07/29/2012and ordered one of the advertised 4 course meals.The cup of potato soup[ was half full, that is four tablespoons and 3 chucks of potato full. A skimpy house salad with watered down tasteless ranch dressing arrived next. The garlic chicken and shrimp over mashed potatoes was actually a nice portion and good though.The brownie and icecream dessert was just ok. My 13 yr old son ordered the double order of shrimp scampi and the portions are very skimpy on that dish and he was left still hungry. His french fries were hard and cold. Worse of all though was the dirty silverware with dried on bits of food stuck to it. Won"t go back to this restaurant. read more
