Haven't been to Fridays in years, so decided to stop in recently. It hasn't changed much. We were seated right away, but service was pretty slow from the start. It took a while for anyone to come over, and when our waitress did, she asked if anyone had already taken care of us and then said she'd be our server -- which felt a little unorganized. Drinks (even water) took longer than expected, and throughout the meal it was hard to track down our server when we needed something. At one point we had to ask another staff member for help and still waited a while before getting assistance. Food was hit or miss. My daughter didn't like her sliders, but they were able to switch them out. The sundaes ended up being a miss for the kids -- lots of toppings that weren't expected, and most of it went uneaten. Best part was the dragon fruit margarita -- that was actually really good. Overall, the staff was polite, but service was slow and a bit disorganized. 3 stars...barely. The good news? The burgers and salads were delicious. Two Truffle burgers with swiss cheese, and 3 Chicken, bacon ranch salads. There were 5 of us. Bad news? The burgers were delivered 20 minutes before the salads. The waiter came back after the burgers had been served to double check that we wanted the chicken for our salads grilled, not fried. We knew we were in trouble at that point. There was no avocado on the salads, although the menu said there should be. The manager, Tom, told us they didn't have any avocados (they're cheap at Aldis) but also marked all our orders half price. I'm not planning on retiurning. read more

The grounds were clean, front entrance very clean. Greeted once we entered & seated almost immediately our server greeted us right away and brought our drinks right out. We ordered and as we enjoyed the ambience the food was being plated and brought to the table hot and delicious. Tonight's venture was the appetizer platter, dinner the Cajun chicken and shrimp pasta & half rake of ribs where "YOU" choose your sauce. Friday's what the heck is up with you guys? The prices at this place have soared, and while they have always tried to remain fresh with new menu items, the portion sizing is trash, especially for takeout. (See the $14 micro wings below) I used to work for this chain and I've always appreciated their fresh take on new drinks. That's about all is good for now. The take out service is basically a closet and a rack you pull your for from. It's going to be noisy here at a baseline so this is not your quiet date night place. read more

What happened Fridays management? This used to be such a great place with so many regulars loyal to your brand when you had especially good staff and good bartenders. Your food was always ok but good enough to eat like the ribeye was very good but because the people were fun that worked there it made it great as we came to see our "friends" who treated us like family. You lost all of that and I doubt you can get back until you pay or something. All my ones I knew went to other frederick restaurants I remember Sunday nights so busy as only one of 3 bars open till 1. Now always a ghost town. It's so sad. We haven't been to a Fridays in well over 15 years. Went to see new menu items and happy hour type beverages and compare to other similar establishments. Beverages for happy hour are ok...Bkue Moon is not as good a deal as competitors by a mile. For food, got the happy hour meatballs and mozzarella sticks...price ok...not a fan of the meatballs. Got the pick 3 ribs, shrimp and chicken, shrimp pasta and the 3 app deal. We're out of pretzel bites. Overall we're ok on all but the pick 3. Ribs compared to competitors are just not in the same league. Tasted days old, dry and skimpy. Shrimp tasted old and almost as if reheated, and chicken was way thin of a piece, overcooked and dry. Would not do this one again. Service was ok. Mac and cheese was not too good. Top cheese had a strange top layer texture and taste and bland overall. Temp was way too cold overall in the establishment. Didn't even make for good leftovers. Your competitors have you beat. read more

We had a complete mess up with our order. The manager Shannon or Sarah, (I don't remember the name) I thought was extremely rude as she only gave a discount to our meal when our food was RAW. We waited forever and just wanted to leave. She offered us a small discount and just gave us EXTREME ATTITUDE. I've heard from others they have had a terrible experience here. The ambiance was about the only decent thing at this location. The food came out late and cold. Our server had said that their warmer lights weren't working, but did not offer to get hot food as a replacement. She completely forgot a drink that we ordered. The food itself tasted like it was heated from frozen. The venture capital firms that own this chain have killed it. read more

Stopped here post-game for some food on a weeknight. Wasn't crowded- only a few tables occupied and ordered the standard meal (bevs, app, sandwich, dessert). The restaurant as a whole seemed clean and well put together and the host upon entrance was already taking us to a table, even asking us how our day was. Never experienced that before. We ordered a couple of waters and put in an order of the pretzel sticks and cheese. I have had these at other places and they were right on par. Would have been nice to have a little more cheese but overall well done. I ordered the Jack Daniels chicken sandwich which came with some fries. This sandwich is probably the best bang for the buck item on the menu- come with this Jack Daniels glaze which I ask for extra- Very rich and thick sauce. Sandwich usually falls apart but I don't mind getting my fingers messy, or soaked, or using them for just a squirt more of the sauce. Our waitress was very nice, talkative and attentive, and despite whiffing on her name- gave great service and guidance on our ordering. Well done. read more

I had an awful experience at this restaurant due to a server whose name I believe started with B (Bre maybe Bria I cannot remember but she's brown and a little tall ). First, she reeked of both weed and fish, which is not only unpleasant but highly unprofessional. Her service was terrible, she was constantly late with our food, and I noticed her chatting with another server instead of attending to her tables. Despite everything, my mom still gave her a small tip because we understand servers survive off tips, but it was very disrespectful to have someone serving us who clearly had poor hygiene and seemed to be high on the job. This level of service is unacceptable when I'm trying to enjoy a meal with my mother.This is the only Fridays in close proximity to me, hopefully it will be a different experience when I attend again. read more

So it's about the only place to eat in around Frederick that we know, that's open for late night food. We arrived close to 11pm and were immediately seated. There were guests scattered all over the resto. My husband ordered the Philly egg rolls to start...it wasn't that good. I ordered the shrimp lemon butter pasta and raspberry iced tea; my husband ordered the chicken and shrimp cajun pasta. My pasta was good. It wasn't absolutely delicious! But it got the job done. My husband said he waited quite awhile that his pasta was no longer hot, although the plate is hot. Perhaps they use hot plates. Great Food and Drinks! Great Service!! A very nice atmosphere to go in sit at the end of a day and have dinner/drinks.

Be very careful when ordering the endless apps, namely when you get the bill. The tip guide on the bottom of the receipt is NOT for the amount you ACTUALLY spent, before the amount you WOULD HAVE SPENT, have the discount not been applied. As a result, I gave my server almost a 75% tip and even though her service was good, it wasn't THAT good. It was my fault for not checking to make sure the amount was correct (terrible habit). I was tired and ready to go, so I didn't think much about it... until this morning. Thankfully the bill was relatively small, but I have a serious problem with disingenuous billing and tipping practices. With a party larger than our party of two, they could make out with some serious cash with this scheme. I used to work in the food service industry so I know how it goes, but don't try to trick your customer into giving you what you didn't earn. I value honesty above all else, and when trust is broken, it's very difficult to be repaired. And if I can't trust a restaurant to bill me fairly and accurately, which includes providing correct inaccurate tipping information, then I need to take my business elsewhere. I'll be patronizing a different Fridays location from now on. read more

We came on a busy Saturday night and were extremely grateful for using Open Table and avoiding the line. We were greeted quickly and had great service. The restaurant sounded like a dance club, we struggled to hear each other talk the whole time. My spouse and I both ordered the pick 2 for $15, what a deal! We both ordered the sirloin, then one for salmon and the other fried shrimp. I ordered medium rare and received medium (no juice coming out of this steak). She ordered medium and got well done (not even close to a hint of pink). We didn't say anything because it took awhile for her to check back so we made do with it. A1 was almost able to cover up an over cooked sirloin. My daughters ribs were tasty, but not a lot of meat on them. read more

We have three young children and time is precious, or more like there's only a short window before boredom sets in. We just wanted to eat quickly and leave, but the only service we received was getting seated with our menus--not even water was provided. Our table was by the kitchen so there were lots of staff passing our table, but not one claiming to be our server. We even informed the hostess of the situation, but after being seated for 15 minutes with no water or service we left. I'll start by saying the customer service was superb. The hostess assisted us with opening the door and escorting us to our seat. Our waitress was superb as well by fully explaining the menu to us without any attitude and by informing us of the charity Fridays was sponsoring. I ordered the $7 rum punch and it was delicious. The right amount of juice and the right amount of alcohol hit the spot. They also gave us a great amount for the price. I was disappointed to see that Fridays no longer has the Jack Daniels wings anymore. Its now called the Whiskey Glazed wings. I placed an order to see if they would taste the same. Unfortunately, they do not taste the same. It's something missing from the sauce. I really wish Fridays would have kept their partnership with Jack Daniels. Nonetheless, the wings were really delicious and the ranch and blue cheese dressing wasn't watered down. Fridays kept advertising their $5 cheeseburger and fries all over social media, so I decided to order that for my entree. It was a complete waste of time. The cheeseburger was extremely small in size. It's no bigger than a Whopper Jr from Burger King. I remember the burgers from Fridays being wide like a Whopper. I'm wondering if I had gotten a burger from the regular menu and not the $5 special, would it have been the same size. If all of the burgers at Fridays are now that small size, they should really be ashamed of themselves. If you get the smaller burger with the $5 special, they should really advertise that instead of being sneaky and making people think they're getting a deal. The $5 special also came with a very small portion of french fries that didn't fill me up. So the $5 special is not really a special, you're paying $5 for a little tiny burger and a small batch of fries. I would like to add that I added bacon to my burger. When my burger came out, the cook took 1 strip of bacon and cut it up in 3 parts and put it on my burger. I paid $1.50 for bacon and they really gave me 1 strip of bacon?! I called for a manager and showed him my burger. He agreed to bring more bacon for my burger. That is the type of business practices I dislike. Give the customers what we're supposed to rightfully receive and stop trying to do little things to get over. You're only hurting yourself. read more

I'm giving this 5 stars because of the the staff at this Friday's....the food was tasty, hot and plentiful. My waitress was friendly, welcoming, attentive and got my order perfectly. But what really impressed me was their honesty - I left my phone in the restaurant. Not expecting to get it back, I went back to Friday's a few hours after leaving and asked for my phone. The manager on duty on Saturday evening, Samara, immediately knew what I had come back for and returned my phone!! This tgi Fridays. Was one of the only places open in the area past midnight. They close at 12:30. After the Nationals game. We needed a place to stop and eat. So this TGi Fridays was the place. When we walked in. The resturant was pretty filled at 12. The music was loud. The hostess was confusing me. I'll explain! He asked us where we wanted to sit. I told him somewhere quite because the music is loud. He starred at me with this puzzled look then says, ooh ok let me see what I can do. Walks away. Comes back. Says so you want a place where you can talk. I replied. Yes please. He said I have the perfect place. Where does this guy put us!! Across from the fricken noisy bar!!! I asked him if they could move us to the other side where it was quite. The waitress said that side is off limits. What!!!!! Now. There was a lot of young people in there drinking late.
