Is this just take-out or is there a dining room?

It's a dining room as well! We are one of the only sit down Chinese food restaurants other than PF changs.

I had an incredible dining experience at Sichuan Kitchen! We ordered the Sichuan dumplings, chicken…read morefried noodles, pork fried rice, and King Pao chicken--and every single dish was outstanding. Everything was made fresh to order, which really shined through in the vibrant flavors and quality ingredients. The food was truly satisfying and filling, yet surprisingly light and not weighed down, making it perfect for enjoying multiple dishes without feeling overly stuffed. The ingredients tasted fresh and high quality, and you can tell they put care into each dish. The service was friendly and attentive, making us feel welcomed from start to finish. The dishes are served family style, so keep in mind that they're meant to be shared amongst the table, which makes for a fun and communal dining experience. The restaurant itself was spotless and well-maintained, adding to the overall pleasant atmosphere. And the prices? Beyond reasonable for the generous portions and high-quality food. I can honestly say I will be back--no question about it--and I'm already looking forward to my next visit here. Sichuan Kitchen is a true gem!

Sichuan Kitchen isn't the place you visit for ambience. There's no music, the décor is bare, and…read morethe service is straightforward and minimal. Orders are taken, food delivered, that's about it. But honestly, you're just here for the food. The menu is packed with classic Sichuan dishes, and the flavors are bold and unapologetically spicy. You get that signature tingle from the Sichuan peppercorns the kind of heat that keeps you reaching back for more. Portions are generous and everything is made fresh to order. It's a good a spot to order family style if you're in a group to explore the menu. Some items we usually like to order include their hot and sour soup, Chongoing Spicy Chicken, cumin lamb (they also have cumin beef), green beans, braised bean curd with pork, and their crispy tofu.

We've had their food twice now, and it's the best local takeout Chinese food I've had. I really…read morelike their chicken and broccoli and all of their soups. My husband really likes their orange chicken. The crunchy noodles for soup have never been stale. Nearby Chinese food takeout in comparison: Green lake food is good but not quite as good. Red lantern (previously Silver Star) is inconsistent and hasn't been as good the last few times. The hot and sour soup has been amazing at times, but sometimes it's just ok. The egg drop soup was so salty we all agreed it was inedible. The crunchy noodles at times were stale. We've always liked their stuffed eggplant and they're the only ones out of the three that offer it.

I heard about them when they were in another plaza but never really tried them until they moved and have frequented them every now and then. I called in and got the Bourbon Chicken dinner combination tonight and instead of rice I substituted or shall I say upgraded it to a veggie lo mein. The total was $18 and some change just for that and an egg roll. I've heard people say their food is pricey but I'll pay the premium especially since the food is always good plus the veggies and meats always seem fresh and not frozen or questionable like other joints. Go check 'em out and don't let the Planet Fitness next door guilt trip ya!

Tried YH Dim Sum and it totally hit the spot!…read more Everything we ordered was on point the shrimp rice rolls, sesame chicken, and BBQ pork were all so good. Flavor, texture, portion... no notes. The lychee martinis were a highlight (especially since they were doing BOGO ), and the staff made the whole experience even better super fun and great energy. If you're craving dim sum and a good time, this place is definitely worth the stop.

I love visiting Saint Augustine so I was so excited when I found this dim sum restaurant!…read more Unfortunately I was very disappointed. I was dining by myself. I always order a lot of dishes because I like what I like and I also know I'll have leftovers. I sent back the pan fried taro pudding because it was so bland and it didn't have many of the main ingredients in it. If it were there, it was so skimpy I didn't find any. (The Chinese sausage and dried shrimp) The pain fries soy sauce noodles were overcooked. It's suppose to be pan fried and it was not. Also very skimpy on the black mushrooms. Not very flavorful. The Steamed shrimp dumplings were mediocre. The skin was gummy and fell apart. The shrimp filling wasn't too bad. The shrimp with rice pasta was probably the best dish there. But it was still lacking in flavor. The steamed ribs with black bean sauce was very bland. The ribs were tough and tasteless. The braised chicken feet were over cooked. The texture was horrible like eating mush. The flavors were also off. The egg tarts looked good but the flavors again were off. Borderline going bad. It had that slight aftertaste of sourness. The shell was also flavorless. The BBQ pork buns were also disappointing. The ratio of bread to filling was off. Very small amount. But I was a little happy this happened because the filling didn't taste good at all. The hot tea was also disappointing. I always order jasmine tea when having dim sum. They used a low quality tea bag instead of real loose jasmine tea leaves which also includes the flowers. No fragrance at all of Jasmine tea. Needless to say, I will not be going back on my next visit. It was very expensive for what they give you. Especially since the food was so bad. I gave it two stars because the service was very good and the view was decent. I am Chinese... born in Hong Kong. So I know what dim sum should taste like. I wish I had seen the review that had a photo of the salt and pepper shrimp before I went because I would not have gone. Their salt and pepper shrimp is not authentic and I would have not gone and saved myself $80 for my lunch.
