I was so excited to try this place, as I heard from others of how good it was. The crab Rangoon's and eggrolls were so delicious and perfectly well prepared not greasy. However, the entrée is lacked the fried rice was not fried at all, and the teriyaki was on a stick! Not what we expected, but we were hungry, and just went with it, the sweet-and-sour pork was heavily battered and a little too much for my liking so I removed it and just stay at the meat. Unfortunately the quality here has gone down hill. The portions are 85% rice and 15% entree. The fried rice is just yellow- no veggies or pork - just yellow rice. If you order a meat and vegetable dish like pork and broccoli- expect very little meat and lots of broccoli. Also be sure to check your order before the driver leaves or you leave the restaurant- they often forget part of your order- Bummer to see this decline. I don't know what's changed. Lived here for the last 6 years and this had been me and my family's go to spot... within the last two months or so we've noticed a change in quality. Everything is just "OK". Then they've really changed with their shrimp dishes for example, I usually get shrimp dishes (lo mein, moo shu shrimp, egg foo yung) and I get like maybe 3-5 small shrimp in the entire dish. This place has the best Chinese at the beach. It's always cooked perfectly. Staff are friendly. When I order delivery, it has always shown up quicker than their estimate and hot. This place hits the spot when the Chinese craving is calling! It's nice it's only a few blocks away from my house as well! This specific Chinese restaurant is my favorite of its type in the Jax Beach area. I called for take out (was feeling very lazy and comfy on the couch) and was quoted a 45 min wait for my delivery. That didn't seem bad to me for a Friday night. I think my order arrived earlier than that but I wasn't really keeping track. I ordered the fried dumplings, pork egg roll, small egg drop soup and beef with mixed vegetables. The dumplings were great and the dipping sauce was super tasty! I was surprised how good the sauce was! I really enjoyed their egg roll too. I feel like some Chinese restaurants the egg roll just tastes like grease or fried egg roll wrap but this one actually had flavor. The veggies and beef were good and cooked well, not too mushy- more al dente and crunchy which I like because I'm big on textures. I honestly didn't even get to my soup because I was too full from everything else. The portions were huge and I still have well over half my meal left over! Always a perk of ordering Chinese!! I will say the prices have increased from the menu pictures posted on their yelp page. I couldn't find a recent picture of the menu. I was hoping they'd include a to-go menu in my bag but I forgot to ask for one. I took a picture of my receipt to show what my dishes cost. The staff and delivery driver were friendly and I have never had an issue with any of their food, will continue ordering from here when I get my semi annual craving for Chinese food. read more

Really good! I got a small chicken lo mein for $7.26 after tax. It was ready in 10 mins and I could tell it had just been made. 5 stars for taste, freshness, wait time, and customer service!! I docked a star because the portions are small in my opinion. Chinese is filling so it'll be enough for one meal but no leftovers. Someone w a bigger appetite might need more. Overall, I give it a thumbs up :) I'll be back to try something new next time I'm in town. read more

I very rarely crave Chinese but when I do it's a CRAVING. I've never been here before even though it's 2 minutes away from me. I couldn't find a menu anywhere online so I just winged it after seeing one posted from 7 years ago. Last night I decided to call in a order and to kind of try a little of everything to split with my husband. We got the chicken teriyaki on a stick which was certainly one of my favorites! Great flavor. We also got the steamed dumplings which wasn't the greatest. They were so-so. We got the sesame chicken which was a big portion and delish. It came with a small white rice which we enjoyed too. The vegetable fried rice and beef Lo mein were good! The size small was more than enough to share with my husband and be left with plenty in the fridge. Overall it will be my Chinese spot for when I get those once every 7 month craving read more

Ok spot for fast Chinese takeout. I've definitely had better but I've also had worse before. I got the honey chicken with house fried rice and my boyfriend got the peppered steak and white rice. The food was ready for pick up in 10 minutes. I thought the honey chicken was a little too sweet and the peppered steak was pretty bland in flavor. The servings were pretty big though so definitely enough for sharing. Unsure if I will be ordering from here again since there are better places out there. read more

I travel a bunch for work. I always like a good Chinese place to help with bad hotels. This place is amazing. I have nothing to compare it with back home. This is my go to chinese spot at the beach. The service is amazing with the staff always being so polite. I am always happy with my food, which comes piping hot with delivery (I have never picked up in store). I always base my chinese off the Crab Ragoons and I must say they are top notch and always keep me coming back. This time I ordered the steam dumplings which came with sauce similar to soy but with a hint of sweetness and the egg drop soup. Both delicious, hot, and left me wanting more! Our favorite chinese restaurant recently went out of business and we were looking for something new. We tried New Wok first because it had the best rating in the immediate area. We went with safe things, pork fried rice, sweet and sour chicken, Rangoon's and wontons. We were so impressed with everything! It was super hot and fresh. The fried things were crispy and not greasy tasting, which is somewhat common. The pork in the fried rice was so good I might get a pork dinner next time. My daughter loved the sweet and sour chicken and she is extremely picky. It was enough food for two meals. We might not try any other places for Chinese takeout. This was good enough to stick with. Next time we will be more adventurous with our meal selection. I will say that when we ordered by phone, we gave the numbers for each item off the menu. Apparently, they have different menus with different numbers?? So don't bother using the number, just tell them the name of the item. The person taking orders seemed annoyed that we were using the numbers too. However, she was nice at pick up. read more
