Visiting Mayo so ordered takeout to bring back to our hotel room. Wasn't expecting much, so we were pleasantly surprised that everything was hot, fresh and oh so tasty! I am kind of a crab Rangoon snob, and I absolutely loved them! They also included a free bag of donuts! That was a nice surprise, and we both thoroughly enjoyed a little sweet treat! We will definitely be back!! read more

3.5 rating Solid Chinese spot. My go to when I visit the area. I always get some kind of lo mein or the chicken wings with fried rice. read more

Chicken with broccoli is a better value than shrimp with broccoli since they give you more chicken than shrimp. They still don't give you enough rice for the protein/vegetables. The service could be friendlier. They don't have open Wi-Fi and don't post their password. The place continues to be too hot, the bathroom to be clean. read more

We ordered for delivery to our Hotel & when it arrived our dinner was still Hot & delicious! So good we're getting dinner here again

I ordered almost $30 worth of food when I got to the car I looked at the food and it was unrecognizable. Sweet-and-sour chicken was burnt and smelled funny. The other dish I got didn't even look like chicken. I tried to return it and they told me I could not get a refund. It was totally unedible. Disputing with my credit card company I had to throw it all away never will I ever go back read more

Your neighborhood Chinese take-out. This place is rather good though. With that generically huge menu, some items will naturally be better than others, but pretty much everything is above average. The pictures overhead are quite faded and off-color looking. The actual food looks better than the pictures. The white rice is soft and consistent. Veggies have that nice stir-fry taste without being over cooked or too soggy. Meats have that unhealthy American-Chinese taste that we all love. So far, I am partial to the lo mein. It has a nearly perfect texture, soft but not too soft, and like the veggies in it, it has that great stir-fried flavor without feeling too salty or oily. The chow mei fun is also pretty good. Compared to them, I thought the fried rice was just okay. Orange chicken is also just okay. I like the egg foo young. The egg seems a bit fluffier than at most other places, and the portion is huge. You also receive a ton of gravy to use, and it comes piping hot. read more

Absolutely delicious Chinese food. Fresh, crispy, tasty. Highly recommend. I had orange chicken and broccoli with garlic sauce. Wonderful ! read more

Food was just ok. Rice was good but the wings had no flavor. I got the pork fried rice and whole chicken wings. Don't bother getting the pork egg rolls - too greasy and no flavor. The wrap was not like the standard egg roll wraps. Also they were very thin. read more

I have been a frequent customer of China Wok for the past three years. I ordered Honey Chicken on Friday, May 31, 2024. The meal contained more fat than chicken. It was unacceptable and inedible. I am no longer a customer of China Wok. read more

This is my favorite Chinese food restaurant. As in I used to live about 2 miles away, and when we moved we drive there still passing about 20 other Chinese restaurants and drive 40 minutes to get there and back. I'm going to start with the pork egg rolls, they're amazing. They have the perfect mix inside them and they're deliciously crunchy. My favorite meal is General Tsos chicken Combo that comes with pork fried rice and an egg roll. I cannot tell you why it tastes SO good but it does. I think Panda Express is ok, but sorry, they pale in comparison. I also tried the Chinese food place near where I live now but it's not as good either, it's mediocre at best. The lo mien is really good. The orange chicken and sesame chicken is awesome as well along with the Rangoons and wonton soup. My bf had the short ribs tonight and said it was delicious also. We've never had anything that wasn't just mouth watering yum. read more

I have had take from here 3 times. I like the egg drop soup, yellow curry, and Mongolian beef. However, I ordered the shrimp egg foo young and was very disappointed. There was so many egg shells that 3 out of 5 bits had a shell in it. When I stopped and looked at the dish I could see the shells sticking out of the batter. I pulled out pieces as big as my thumb and it was like that for all 3 patties. I would not recommend any egg dish. read more

Get their boneless spare rib combo or the bourbon chicken! I'm a Crab Rangoon aficionado and these pass the test. I eat here every other Sunday and the service is quick and purely transactional read more

Great quick Chinese food! I normally get the beef lo mein and the sesame chicken, always hot and fresh!

I love spring rolls! Read the previous reviews - this place is really THAT good. Nothing fancy to look at - straight up take out dive. But perfect local Chinese take out spot right next to Publix. Didn't feel like cooking so I went online and placed my order. Stopped into Public next door to grab some drinks and ice cream. While in the check out line I'm called and told that my order is ready. SWEET. I pick up my meal and I can feel the noticeable weight of my brown bag. I didn't even think to check it before I left. Get the food home and it's golden! I'm so surprised at how much food I received for just $10. I dug into one spring roll first. Filled with awesome veggies wrapped in rice paper. Chicken and broccoli overflowed my plate. I ate less then half and was stuff. Who doesn't LOVE good left overs? read more

The food is good but the service is severely lacking. The order is never ready when the app says that it is and it can take an extra 5 minutes just to make sure you get the correct order. So if you're not in a rush then it's worth it but you may want to call to make sure your food is ready before you leave to pick it up. read more

The worst experience. Ordered by phone at 5:43 pm and was told 15 minutes. Arrived at 6:00 and was told it wasn't quite ready. I finally got my order at 6:45!!! Never again!!! read more

We order from another store but they changed to this store. Food was hot But NO FLOVOR. Just a total wase of money.. NEVER again. everything was both burnes and TOTALLY lack any spices. Again TRAIN your cooks. BAD FOOD!! read more

This is the closest Chinese take-out to where we live. It does some things better than others. Fried chicken- pretty good Lo mein- pretty good rice- meh any beef entree- meh egg rolls- fine wontons- meh soups- blech We will order from here when we are really craving sweet and sour chicken (my go-to comfort food), but it's not worth a drive or special stop. read more

I would probably skip this place. I had high hopes when I got my food because of how it smelled and looked. The reason I gave it two stars was because the Egg Roll and Egg Drop soup were decent and edible. I am a big fan of Chicken with Cashew nuts but unfortunately there was an off taste when I began to eat it, I ended up barely eating the meal but considering how cheap the whole meal was I wasn't all that upset. I did come in for lunch and took it to go so I can't speak to whether or not the food is better during dinner time but i really feel like there are better Chinese spots in the area. read more

My new house has a sketchy take-out right around the corner. Yes! It seems pretty standard as far as Chinese-take out goes. They serve egg-drop soup by the quart in that gooey neon yellow form I know and love so dearly. It's even better when you crumble up some fried noodles in that bitch. Lunches run around $5 and you would be hard pressed to spend over about 8 bucks per person at dinner. The soups are good, as are the rangoons. They actually have the balls to call them imitation crab rangoons which I found funny. The dry Beef Chow Fun kicks ass and I would definitely recommend it. Really just your standard issue strip-mall Chinese, but it's not bad for what it is. I wouldn't drive more than a mile or two for it, but if you live in the Hodges neighborhood you could do worse for the price. read more

10/10 bussin egg rolls smacked fried rice was bomb and the donuts oh my god so great!

This place had been a regular go-to place for delivery, but after today's experience, I will no longer give them my business. The food is still good, but after a 5 minute conversation on the phone with someone at the restaurant trying to explain that our order was shorted steamed rice and being told they saw them put it in the bag, to check the order and such, I gave up, saying I'll make my own damn rice and will not give them any future business. You never tell your customer they are wrong. Hope they see this and learn from a stupid mistake. read more

Went here because we were tired of driving and were staying at the hotel around the corner. Ordered $50 worth of food, and it only took about 15 minutes. Appetizers were good. Spring rolls were tasty, spare ribs were a touch greasy, but plentiful. large, and delicious. The Hot & Sour soup was different from what I have had in the past. Lots of cut fresh mushrooms, with a light, fresh taste. I had the Kung Pao Chicken; it was good but could have been spicier. My wife's chicken and broccoli was very good. Shrimp fried rice was also excellent, with a lighter taste than I'm used to eating. Recommend you try it- we will be hitting it again on our way back from Florida. read more

Just had food delivered for the second time and I can say that they did not disappoint. The food was hot and tasty, I can say I have officially found my new go to Chinese food. Give the wonton soup a try it is the best I have had and the chicken wings were the bomb, just order your wings from the Chinese takeout forget the wing joints. read more

You'll get exactly what you came for at this little piece of China. Flavorful, greasy food perfect for hangovers, rainy movie nights, and when you just don't want to cook. The service is fast, the place is baseline clean but nothing fancy and it's kind of fun when you go in to pick up your food and the family is hanging out playing with legos or reading on one of the big tables. Their shrimp lo mein, general Tso's and wonton soup are a few of my go-tos . Only critique is their fortune cookies don't have a "Speak Chinese" word on the back---wasssupwitdat? read more

Great food, good prices, good timing... this is like my 30th time I've ate from here since coming from new york

I really like this neighborhood take out, the food tastes pretty good and it's always ready when I call ahead. My only concern is the cleanliness, I know there are some things that look a little dirty but I'm ready to give them four stars because they make such an effort. The wonton soup is delish and so are the eggrolls. read more

This place is the best. It's your typical Chinese food but this location is always above the rest. And they deliver so fast you'll freak.

Terrible terrible service. Delivery was suppose to be 40 minutes. Took 1 hour 25 minutes!!!! Use their online system to order to ensure order was correct... It was wrong. Put it this way, aggravated enough to create a yelp account just to post this! read more

I order online from here at beyondmenu.com. It reminds me of how much more difficult it used to be phoning in a pizza order...sometimes it's just easier to click on what you think you might want to build your order and get an idea of how much it will cost. Its great for groups to be able to just pass an ipad around the living room having everyone just taking their turn and not have to compile an official list and then make sure you don't miss anything calling it in. The sweet and sour chicken always hits the spot..they always give me plenty of red sauce without having to ask and lots of white rice I never finish. I always get several fortune cookies and different sauce packets without asking either! The pork egg rolls and veggie rolls are delicious. One time I had a large order and they threw in some of the donut hole pastries for free! Crab Rangoon is always good too...nice portion sizes there too. I was only slightly disappointed once when I ordered the BBQ ribs in that they were a little tough but I am really picky about my ribs needing to be fall off the bone tender. Every other time I've been extremely satisfied. read more
