    Wonton soup?

The wonton soup is garbage they use beef broth or something... the stock is brown. The egg drop is good and so are the crab rangoons... I will give credit for the sweet and sour sauce, it's the best I've had in a long time. But, seriously... fix the wonton soup! It's awful!!!

Delicious! I ordered delivery through DoorDash. Sweet & sour chicken, chicken fried rice, crispy noodles and egg drop soup. Enjoyed everything. Nice portions and price.

This is definitely my "go to" spot for my Chinese food fix I've grown to enjoy the cuisine along with the customer service. There are times when they are slammed, and I've found that their customer service doesn't service take a hit. I admire that. I've also never had any issues with my order being incorrect or missing items. The prices are standard fare and the taste on par with other places I've tried. Keep up the good service and quality and I'll keep coming back!

Love Love Love this place! They have my favorite bone in ribs and second favorite boneless ribs. Their sauces are phenomenal from the dipping sauce for the dumplings to the Mongolian beef sauce. Just great! Their House LoMein is definitely a must have. Our orders are always correct even with our little tweaks. I loved them before the pandemic, but I definitely realized how much I missed them when they were closed. Only things keeping them from 5 stars are their egg foo young gravy (not a lot of favor and very thick and starchy) and the fact that they up charge for anything other than pork fried rice on combos where most will do chicken as an even sub. They are fast and i recommend calling your order in.

Hot & Sour soup, Sweet & Sour chicken and white rice.

Food was ok. Nothing to brag about. One of my fortune cookies had no fortune in it LOL. Service was good! The people were nice.

My husband really likes their orange chicken. The crunchy noodles for soup have never been stale. Nearby Chinese food takeout in comparison: Green lake food is good but not quite as good. Red lantern (previously Silver Star) is inconsistent and hasn't been as good the last few times. The hot and sour soup has been amazing at times, but sometimes it's just ok. The egg drop soup was so salty we all agreed it was inedible. The crunchy noodles at times were stale. We've always liked their stuffed eggplant and they're the only ones out of the three that offer it.

I heard about them when they were in another plaza but never really tried them until they moved and have frequented them every now and then. I called in and got the Bourbon Chicken dinner combination tonight and instead of rice I substituted or shall I say upgraded it to a veggie lo mein. The total was $18 and some change just for that and an egg roll. I've heard people say their food is pricey but I'll pay the premium especially since the food is always good plus the veggies and meats always seem fresh and not frozen or questionable like other joints. Go check 'em out and don't let the Planet Fitness next door guilt trip ya!

Flavor, texture, portion... no notes. The lychee martinis were a highlight (especially since they were doing BOGO ), and the staff made the whole experience even better super fun and great energy. If you're craving dim sum and a good time, this place is definitely worth the stop.

I always order a lot of dishes because I like what I like and I also know I'll have leftovers. I sent back the pan fried taro pudding because it was so bland and it didn't have many of the main ingredients in it. If it were there, it was so skimpy I didn't find any. (The Chinese sausage and dried shrimp) The pain fries soy sauce noodles were overcooked. It's suppose to be pan fried and it was not. Also very skimpy on the black mushrooms. Not very flavorful. The Steamed shrimp dumplings were mediocre. The skin was gummy and fell apart. The shrimp filling wasn't too bad. The shrimp with rice pasta was probably the best dish there. But it was still lacking in flavor. The steamed ribs with black bean sauce was very bland. The ribs were tough and tasteless. The braised chicken feet were over cooked. The texture was horrible like eating mush. The flavors were also off. The egg tarts looked good but the flavors again were off. Borderline going bad. It had that slight aftertaste of sourness. The shell was also flavorless. The BBQ pork buns were also disappointing. The ratio of bread to filling was off. Very small amount. But I was a little happy this happened because the filling didn't taste good at all. The hot tea was also disappointing. I always order jasmine tea when having dim sum. They used a low quality tea bag instead of real loose jasmine tea leaves which also includes the flowers. No fragrance at all of Jasmine tea. Needless to say, I will not be going back on my next visit. It was very expensive for what they give you. Especially since the food was so bad. I gave it two stars because the service was very good and the view was decent. I am Chinese... born in Hong Kong. So I know what dim sum should taste like. I wish I had seen the review that had a photo of the salt and pepper shrimp before I went because I would not have gone. Their salt and pepper shrimp is not authentic and I would have not gone and saved myself $80 for my lunch.

They're at 10586 Old St Augustine Road in Mandarin with a nice size parking lot so their location is great and parking isn't a concern. I'll get to the food in a minute but I'll start by saying that before we opened our fortune cookies at the end, I jokingly said "I hope one of these says 'you will get your original Facebook account back". They didn't say that but I included a photo of both because I feel like they're close enough As far as food goes, we split the Peony Sampler for an appetizer and loved it. It definitely did it's job as a sampler because now we know we like all of their appetizers and would order any of them on their own in the future. I ordered Egg Drop Soup after that because it's a favorite of mine. I always add a little salt to their version of it but I add salt to a lot of soups so that may just be a "me" thing. I had the Sweet & Sour Pork with Fried Rice for my entree, which is the same things had last time and it's still great. Between the appetizer and the soup and the entree, I was hoping to have enough to take home for lunch tomorrow and I definitely did. My wife had the General Chicken. She really liked the sauce because it was sweet but has a little bit of spicy kick to it. She said the same thing I said about the chicken itself; she loved that it was big pieces of juicy white meat. She was also surprised by how much she liked the broccoli which made for one of those things where you could get a bite of everything at once. She also had a lot to take home, so she's happy with that too. Thank you again to the person who posted about Peony in the group recently. We had a great lunch thanks to your reminder.
