Stopped here in the way home from orange park. Got the general chow chicken dinner meal which was reasonably priced. I typically ask for white meat as preferred but they did not have that option. I asked for white rice instead of the fried rice which I was charged a slight fee. Not really agreeing with a fee for that. They had a selection of sauces to use and chop sticks. The chicken and sauce was pretty good but some meat was tough, hence why I typically ask for white meat, when ordering. Would I try again, sure.

First time using delivery service which was pretty quick. The chicken wings with garlic sauce were pretty spicy but good. Chicken Lo Mein was okay but a bit dry. The prices seem to be pretty fair.

One of the best places for chicken egg Foo young in the city. Hot and fresh with a savory gravy to drizzle on the chicken egg fo young. Fresh steamed rice. With all the toppings to match.

This was the closest location to us and it was still a good drive. Guess I should have checked the order since driving so far, but didn't. Got home and everything was wrong. Called them and the lady argued with me that I never told her no vegetables in the chicken and I never told her no bean sprouts in the lo mein. Yes, yes I did tell her she just didn't understand. Perhaps it would serve them better to employ someone with a decent grasp of the English language to take orders. I don't have a problem with the fact she's learning English, but don't blame me because you are the one who doesn't comprehend. Even if we drove back, they refused to replace our order. Needless to say, the lo mein went in the trash and the chicken got picked at. Then there were the egg rolls which weren't even in the bag. Never went back and never will go back. Just couldn't get over the rudeness of the woman nor her indignant attitude. Word of advice, check your order very, very careful and do it right in front of the person!

My husband really likes their orange chicken. The crunchy noodles for soup have never been stale. Nearby Chinese food takeout in comparison: Green lake food is good but not quite as good. Red lantern (previously Silver Star) is inconsistent and hasn't been as good the last few times. The hot and sour soup has been amazing at times, but sometimes it's just ok. The egg drop soup was so salty we all agreed it was inedible. The crunchy noodles at times were stale. We've always liked their stuffed eggplant and they're the only ones out of the three that offer it.

I heard about them when they were in another plaza but never really tried them until they moved and have frequented them every now and then. I called in and got the Bourbon Chicken dinner combination tonight and instead of rice I substituted or shall I say upgraded it to a veggie lo mein. The total was $18 and some change just for that and an egg roll. I've heard people say their food is pricey but I'll pay the premium especially since the food is always good plus the veggies and meats always seem fresh and not frozen or questionable like other joints. Go check 'em out and don't let the Planet Fitness next door guilt trip ya!
