Another delicious lunch at Lum Thai!!! Got the lunch ginger with pork & tofu and it's so affordable (at $10.95 for the dish) and absolutely delicious! We get the best service here and it's very authentic. Love this place.

I tried this place for the first time on a weeknight and enjoyed it. I have never really had a bad meal when it comes to Thai food. The meal was beautifully presented - even down to the drink straws and beautiful lemons (the prettiest I have seen). We ordered Panang Curry with tofu and Pad Thai. There was enough Pad Thai for leftovers, however I would recommend being more generous with the tofu. The Pad Thai was not the best I have had, but still tasty. The server was pleasant, although we did have to ask for a couple of things twice. Still, I enjoyed my meal and would try this restaurant again.

Lum Thai is a culinary rollercoaster straight to Thailand! From the crispy, crunchy and oh-so-fresh Lum Thai Sampler, Volcano Shrimp, Shrimp Woon Sen, complimentary refreshing Lemon Thai tea and down to the Fried Banana dessert, everything was flavor explosion! The food here is not just "Thai-rrific", it's' freshly prepared with a nice touch (loved the thoughtful carrot rose garnish) and served quicker than you can say "Sawasdee". L(・‿・)L. All of this was served by our sweet server Hong, who was very respectful and engaging with a smile. ƪ(・‿・) She is a treasure to have, in a time when great service workers are getting harder and harder to find and keep! The establishment is immaculately clean with a dim, cozy, great for dinner dates/meet up with friends atmosphere. The decor is beautiful throughout, completely in line with the theme. Whether you're dining in or picking up, Lum Thai in Orange Park is a surefire way to turn any meal into a culinary adventure. We 100% recommend! *:。゚ 5 shiny stars for a WONDERFUL experience. *:。゚ ヽ(*‿*)ノ Mr. C and I will definitely be back to "Thai" other menu items soon! #Supportlocal @ LumThai-Orange Park.

It's been a while since I have had Thai this good. I ate EVERYTHING because it tasted so good. The service was pleasant and fast. It was festive in the back because it was the Thai New Year and the waitress ceremoniously asked she could splash some water on me as it was customary. I agreed because when in Rome and we both laughed since I have never been asked to be splashed at a restaurant before. Memorable experience.

We stopped by Lum Thai today for lunch. We had the crab rangoons, chicken cashew nut and veggie ginger dishes. Everything we had was good! The server was very nice. The ambiance was cozy. They had delightful touches everywhere! Our lemons had been peeled to look like playful snails, the straws were in the shape of hearts, there was a little face made from food on top of the rice. It was very cute! Food notes: Crab rangoons were very curry forward. We didn't really taste the crab or cream cheese flavors but we still liked them! We also both enjoyed our meals of veggie ginger and chicken cashew. If in the area again, we would certainly return!

I love this Thai place. My usual order is the Amazing, a delicious chicken and broccoli dish covered in peanut sauce. I also love their Tom Kai guy soup. Yesterday I tried the Massaman curry and crispy spring rolls. Another winning lunch. My waitress was wonderful, as always. The restaurant is quaint and comfortable.

Nearby getting some service on my car and lucky for me and my son, we found Lum Thai. Food was FABULOUS. Service was personable. Decor was Thai and dining room was clean . But you want to hear about the food, don't you. Tea - if you're from the south, you know they're good and bad teas. This was really good tea. Thai Tea - my son thought this was one of the best renditions he had, and he loves his Thai tea. Pad Thai - excellent, outstanding, incredible and a great value. Thai fried rice - another outstanding dish . I'm not sure you can go wrong with getting anything here they serve good food, and services excellent. Parking is plentiful right out front and you should never have more than 10 yards to the restaurant.

Husband and I came in on a Monday afternoon and it was a great time for a calm atmosphere. Beautiful decor perfect for a nice date or just a relaxing atmosphere to dine in. We got the Thai Sweet Tea for drinks it was a 10/10 for us, loved the balanced sweet to tea taste and absolutely adored the heart wrapper decor on the straws. For appetizers we got the Dumplings and Fresh Basil Rolls both were incredible paired with their sauces! As well as the presentation is always so neat and beautiful. Both were 10/10 again for us. For the meals I got the Massaman Curry Hot with their Seafood option, and my husband got the Khao Soi Hot Curry Noodle Soup. DELICIOUS! The flavors, spices, portions... everything was just *chefs kiss*! No surprise here, another 10/10 for these two dishes. To top it all off something you don't get just anywhere anymore the service was top tier Ms. Hong was attentive and a complete sweetheart. Every moment here had us thinking of the next time we would return already. Thank you Lum Thai you filled our bellies and our hearts today!

Such a hidden gem (or not so hidden based on its 4+ star rating)!! The food was phenomenal. I got the Pad See-Ew and found the flavor well balanced and the dish to have a great veggie to noodle to egg ratio. The chef even added a little carrot flower! Our waitress was very kind and very helpful. A patron with a cane was leaving the restaurant after his meal and the waitress rushed from the back of the dining area to the door to open the door for him. You could tell that the staff went the extra mile to ensure great food and great presentation. I wish I lived closer, so I could make this a routine spot! The inside was large with a handful of booths and tables. The decor was simple and clean. Instrumental Thai inspired music was playing softly over the speakers making it not too quiet for those on a work lunch or even eating by themselves.

This place is amazing!!! By far the best and freshest Thai food I've had. The restaurant is clean, the service is great. My husband and I will be regulars here now that we've discovered them. I love the food art that they do, it's so original and cute.

We have dined here many times and are always blown away by the service and the food. The restaurant itself is quaint and intimate. We are always seated promptly and served as if we were family. We look forward to many visits here.

The decor and vibe definitely give Asian street market -- I loved the neon signs. Thomas was our server and he was friendly, quick, and attentive throughout. We ordered the Twice Fried Korean Wings, Bonchon, and Chili Crisp Cucumbers to share. The wings were delicious with the best crunch, almost like candied chicken wings. My only complaint is I expected more heat from the gochujang. The Bonchon is essentially a flight of pickled sides: sweet pickled cucumbers, sweet pickled carrots and daikon (similar to what you'd find on a Vietnamese banh mi), and a well-fermented kimchi with mild heat and great flavor. We also ordered the Hong Kong Wonton Soup, and thought we ordered "Chow Fun" noodles -- but "Chow Faan" is actually their fried rice dish. Word of caution: if you want their take on Chow Fun noodles, order the "Beef Haw Fun" instead. The star of the show was the Hong Kong Wonton Soup -- the broth was authentically Asian, distinctly different from a classic French-style broth built on onion, celery, and carrot mirepoix. It was so good we ordered another one to go and took it to our mom to enjoy. We will definitely be going back to try some of their other dishes.

They have many options to choose from in terms of different meats, greens, sushi, desserts, noodles, and more. How it works is you choose the soup of choice to cook the things on and then you go up and fill your place with what you want to cook. You can add things to the soup or on the hot pot to cook. They also have sushi and dumplings already made to eat. I've tried the traditional soup and the tom yum I believe it's called. I like the tom yum better because it has more flavor. You are cooking your own stuff so make sure it's done lol! Both servers both times were nice and attentive in changing out the stove you cook on and taking your dirty plates. Cool experience for sure!

We decided upon this place based on reviews, including from all our oldest grandchild, who said that he had been taken here and everyone enjoyed it. we knew it had previously been a Japanese/Asian grill for many years, but now it is a Korean style barbecue and hot pot.m, so we stopped in. first be aware that this is not a cheap meal, it was $37 per adult. that said, you get access to a variety of proteins and options. I will also say that my experience was quite a bit different than that of my wife. to start, you get one type of flavored broth for your hot pot in which to cook proteins or vegetables. The table also comes with a built-in grill if you choose to Cook that way. My wife selected the mushroom broth base and I chose the pork broth base. I must say, my wife added her own spices/sauces and enjoyed her broth so much that she shared with me and it greatly enhanced my experience. We enjoyed it so much so that we took the remainder home - there was a by weight up charge for taking this or anything else home. initially I felt that was a little expensive ($5) for taking home What amounted to 2 cups of broth, but we made Ramen out of the next day and it was the best Ramen I've had in a long time, so kudos to my wife for having seasoned it so well. my pork broth was not very flavorful, but I was being lazy and did not add any sauces to it, so I was disappointed, but frankly that is probably on me. In the middle of the restaurant is a very clean and well stocked protein buffet that has all types of seafood, pork, chicken, and beef offerings. I selected many of these, and went directly to the grill instead of cooking some of them in the hot pot. i ended up over cooking several of them before adding them into my hot pot, and they weren't good, but once again my disappointment is in part due to my impatience or inattentiveness. my wife enjoyed her selections very much because she didn't overcook her proteins. my favorite thing was the beef Bulgogi and Korean short ribs, which I grilled (or my wife did) and these were delicious, marinated in an excellent sauce and I frankly could've and should've probably just eaten several plates of this. they had a sushi/dessert bar with typical fare; my wife did not partake in any of this. I tried several of the sushi rolls and they were OK -- frankly this is probably not what you would gravitate to if you're going to a hot pot/Korean barbecue restaurant. their desert offerings were fine: I enjoyed the tiramisu and the Asian style donuts, which were very doughy, but I love them. My wife thought they were just meh. they were alcoholic options, but we were already going to be at $90 with tip and take home broth so we just had waters. I apologize for forgetting the servers name, but his service was excellent, due to attentiveness, explanation of the options, and making sure our drinks were consistently refilled. The ambience was nice, modern, clean. so my take away is that this would be closer to a 3.5 star review versus a four, as this was expensive and everything that I tried other than the grilled Bulgogi and what my wife shared that she had added to her broth) was just OK. However, my wife enjoyed the meal so much, that alone is worth it. Also, I should attribute some of the "disappointment" to my own laziness or overcooking of the proteins on the grill. I would go back for another special occasion, but at the price point, it would not be a weekly choice.
