Ordered takeout here on Christmas Eve…read more The business is located in a Wal-Mart shopping center so traffic can be pretty thick and hard to navigate but they have an option to come in the back way if you know what you are looking for. This makes it much easier. The place was packed and the line was close to being out the door for pickup but it moved pretty quick and the staff were attentive and prioritized those picking up orders over those waking in off the street. They do have a small in door seating section if you want to eat there, but you will have people waking by you to order matter where you sit. We ordered Crab Rangoon, fried rice, chicken lo mein, a shrimp lo mein combo meal and a General Tso's chicken combo meal. The combo meals come with a pork egg roll and choice of fried rice or white rice. I got the general Tso's chix with white rice. The white rice was refreshingly good, not over cooked and still sticky. It paired really well with the chicken. Both lo meins were good and had good flavor. The stars were the egg rolls, so much better than other Chinese places. No complaints about any of the food. Would recommend going and will go again. Only knock is that based on location, you will have to brave Collins Road traffic which can be horrendous.

I would eat Panda Express before ever going back here and I hate it! I barely ate anything! We took an Uber over from the marina we were staying at. Firstly this is mainly a take out place, that's fine. There are four tables. Food was served in to go boxes with paper plates and plastic spoons and forks. Little tiny napkins and no knives. We ordered an appetizer, soup, rice and a main. Everything came out together. We ordered Wonton and Hot & Sour soup. Steamed Dumplings, Vegetable Fried Rice and Orange Chicken that came with white rice. The best part of the meal was the white rice! The Steamed Dumplings were barely cooked with very little meat in them and were probably cooked in a microwave. The Wonton Soup was just ok. The Hot & Sour Soup had so much bean curd in it that should have been its name. I ate half of the cup because that was the best part of my meal! The Vegetable Fried Rice was disgusting. It was soggy and tasteless. I had about one bite. My husband's Orange Chicken had so much breading on it was hard to find the chicken. He ate about half of it because he's not that picky and was really hungry! We got a bonus's Pork Egg Roll because we spent over $40. I ate two bites of it and spit the second one out! We also had two bottles of water, no issues with the water. Overall it was a terrible experience. I will say that many reviews talked about small portions we thought the portions were fine. Luckily, upon checking the multiple food delivery apps ( they all have different restaurants listed, so you gotta check em all), I found a new restaurant on BeyondMenu. The Good: Able to order via app. Order arrived in about an hour, which was within the delivery estimation. My partner was happy with the Chinese food he ordered. They paid attention to the notes for special requests, and didn't include any onions, which some restaurants miss. Sushi was tasty and were decently sized. Reasonable delivery fees. The Meh: The devil is in the details, and there were little things that didn't set them apart from other takeout places. The sushi I ordered had the ginger and wasabi smooshed into the side of a couple of rolls. They didn't have any paper separating the items. Sushi came with the "good" soy sauce and shrimp sauce. Chinese food comes with the less than tasty Chinese restaurant soy sauce. The Bad: They didn't include any napkins or forks, only came with chopsticks. No menu for future orders. I additionally ordered the Yang Chow Fried Rice, which I found to lack any seasoning. Since it's cooked without soy sauce, it could use some garlic/salt/pepper. However the rice did have plentiful large cuts of meat and lots of veggies. Also, while I love that they have Sushi and Chinese food, I did find the sushi, especially the "cheaper" rolls to be a bit over priced. I'm far more likely to throw in an extra simple roll if the cost is reasonable, however over 5 bucks for a 6 piece JB roll is a bit much.

The chicken was burnt and looked completely different from what I expected based on the only teriyaki meat photo they have listed on the app. Yes, I understand the picture says beef sticks and I ordered chicken, but I still expected the chicken to be prepared in a similar style, not looking like it barely escaped a house fire. Even though I ordered delivery, I personally drove back up to the restaurant with my plate and explained that I was disappointed. I asked if they could either remake it or let me switch it for something of equal or lesser value. I specifically asked for the boneless spare ribs combination plate, which was the same price. Instead, I was offered either a discount or for them to remake only the meat, throw away the rice, clean out the same plate, and put the newly made meat back in it. :/ The young lady also explained that they offer the chicken teriyaki sticks as a combination platter, but not the regular chopped chicken teriyaki with sauce, which is actually more of what I was looking for. That can only be purchased by itself. I even had to show her the options listed on Uber Eats, which made the whole situation even more confusing. Honestly, this could have been avoided if the regular chicken teriyaki was offered as a combination platter on the app or if the menu made the difference clearer. As for the advertised photo versus what I actually received? Straight up catfish. I should've called Nev. The picture shows glossy, properly cooked teriyaki meat. Mine looked like it had been left on the grill during an emergency evacuation. I've been coming here for the past few years and have never had an issue before. I've always spoken highly of this place and recommended it to other people, which is exactly why this experience was so disappointing. It definitely left a nasty taste in my mouth. Or maybe that was just the burnt chicken teriyaki.
