I wish I could say I was more impressed. We got a message 10 minutes before our reservation letting us know our table was available. When we got to where the hosts was, we had to wait about 10 minutes before someone came back to seat us. Our waitresses was very nice and checked on us frequently. For drinks we ordered the dragons fortune and a glass of wine, other than the wait they were good. We ended up ordering the soft shell crab ban and pot stickers for appetizers. We were very impressed. Next we ordered the short rib rice and pork belly Ramen for the main course, we were disappointed to say the least. The food was cold and bland. Overall we spent about $100 for lunch and it didn't seem worth it. In reality, we won't be back. Not worth the money for food. read more

Come on Atlantis you can do better, let's hope it's just working out the kinks. Some food was hot some NOT! When you order spicy don't expect spicy. Our server didn't check on us just dropped off food and that's the last we saw of him. VERY mediocre. Three stars is generous. I'd come back for drinks. Thankfully the manager deducted the ramen. Hopefully things improve with time. read more

Red Bloom - Lychee Lemon Drop and Sake To Me so yummy (they've already been sipped) - Asian Fusion Near Me - Reno, Nevada

Visited for wife's birthday. Very accommodating during a pandemic. Especially clean restaurant with proper social distancing between customers. Good dim sum menu excellent choices with many options. Fell in love with the Tyku saki. Highly recommend any flavor of this salon for any occasion. Will return especially since they have noodle bowls and many different Asian dishes/ options. read more

The prices are a little high for the offerings but realistically, you're in a casino. With that being said, we were actually pleased with the bao bun offerings. The soft shell crab one was amazing! Fresh ingredients and a nice contrast of textures. I would like to see them offer a bao sampling where you can get a variety of bao buns on one plate and also see pho ga added. But considering they're recently opened I am sure menu revisions will happen once they are more established and can get an idea of what works. The dumplings were good and the ginger accompanying dipping sauce was a really nice touch. All in all pretty tasty and will be returning. Also, really nice job Atlantis offering up some more variety and renovating the restaurant. It was a pleasant experience visually as well. read more

Tried Red Bloom tonight and I will definately return for more ramen. The bowls are huge filled with goodies not needing add-ons like other ramen places such as Minato. The price is comparable to Ramen for Real for almost twice as much. The ramen at Haru was very good but it's out of he way and not as convenient. And it was not much more than sevaral ramen places in the Bay area. (I really like ramen). The service was impeccable. Give it a try. read more

Pork belly ramen was served lukewarm and the broth tasted like water, no salt at all. Maruchan or nissins instant ramen tasted better. Crispy pork belly had no seasoning and rice was served cold. I would give 0 star if I could. Definitely do not recommend. read more

We tried the new restaurant inside the Atlantis. We tried the Duck Bao and found it had a strong 5 spice taste. We ate 2 out of 3. The tempura shrimp was excellent. We also had the Harlow Shrimp which was very good. The Spring Rolls were over cooked. We found the prices a little higher than they should be. The 4 items were $52+. With only water. I'm not sure I'd recommend this restaurant read more

We just decided to try this new restaurant in the Atlantis because we love the seafood restaurant upstairs over the walkway. The restaurant looks nice and the staff was nice, attentive and accommodating. We had Yakitori- chicken skewers and pork & shrimp soy mai for appetizers. The chicken skewers had a good flavor but the soy mai had no flavor at all. Not even with the dipping sauce. For entrées we tried the Korean spiced beef short ribs and these were not bad but not great. The roasted Duck Ramen was just ok. The crispy pork chop has a good flavor but nothing we would order again. I did really like the spicy chicken ramen and on its own I would give 4 stars. The broth is absolutely delicious and they add in a lot of delicious ingredients. Also the portion is definitely enough for a dinner and a lunch! read more

Five stars all around. The hostess could've been a little more cordial instead of just staring at us when we walked up. But man the rest of the service, the food, the drinks, everything. Five stars. We had the Crouching Tiger cocktail and it was delicious! The pork buns were straight fire. The Szechuan chicken was amazing! Definitely our new go to spot. read more

I am so happy that Red Bloom exists. Getting some fluffy steamed buns is one of the highlights in Asian cuisine, and Red Bloom does it justice. My wife and I kinda jumped around the menu, ordering some BBQ pork buns, the fried peppers, and a bowl of ramen. What we learned is that the fried peppers are meant for a larger table of people who can handle the occasional fiery pepper, not just two people. The ramen is amazing, but about all you need to order, even if you're splitting. But what we really took away is that the next time we visit, we're just ordering several plates of the steamed buns, because that is a truly special meal. Our service was fine, and we were able to order a few novelty cocktails. I had my first taste of Japenese whiskey, which was pretty good. A pricey dinner in the end, but well worth it. read more

The soups and dim sum here are very good. There service is the best. I crave this place a lot. We have tried the ramens, wonton soups, and a lot of the dim sums and buns. There was one of the shrimp dim sums that I would not recommend, but everything else is great. The curry tofu ramen was very very good. read more

Pricey for the quality. The shrimp dumplings (ha gow) had a starchy skin. It was a bit disconcerting to bite into what I expected to be rice wrapper chewy to find a powdery fall apart type of texture. We ordered: whole peking duck, dandan noodles, siu mai, ha gow, wor wonton soup, and some dessert. Siu mai was good. Tasted normal. The dandan noodles were off. The wonton soup was decent. Overall experience of the decor and service was excellent. However, not very authentic Chinese food. I expect a bit more from the price point. read more

Not your typical dim sum or asian dining.. tries to be a fancy higher end restaurant since it is inside a casino. Food tasted okay, not anything fantastic. Pricing was kinda extreme. Was kinda hard to have a conversation with the waitresses constantly asking how the food is, or if they can take your plate away even when you're still eating. read more

You guys deserve five stars for Christmas. It was not the fastest but you held it together under immense pressure. Some highlights for me were the chicken bao tacos with pickled carrots, the lychee mousse, and the hard working staff. We sat at the bar and thank heavens because the buffet line next door was a mile long or more. Thanks again! Happy Holidays. read more

Quick shout out to Red Bloom Asian restaurant at the Atlantis Casino in Reno. Great Asian food, especially like their Asian soups and Sui Mai. All ingredients seem top notch with great authentic techniques. Keep up the great work and excited to see what future specials (or Dim Sum delights) are added to menu! read more

I was very excited to try this new Asian restaurant at Atlantis. I was a little disappointed. I ordered Char Sieu Bow (BBQ pork buns), which IMHO were very good. I also ordered Spicy Miso ramen, which I wish that I could've like more but for two reasons missed the mark. 1)Presentation - In every ramen restaurant I've ever eaten at, the ramen bowl was a work of art. This ramen bowl not so much. I had to dig the items out of the broth to take pictures 2)The taste was very good, but I felt that the spicyness was more from the habanero/serrano peppers in liberal use than an Asian ingredient. Each of the items in the ramen was nicely done, the char sieu, the soft boiled egg, the ramen itself, and it tasted good, it just wasn't a feast for the eyes. I will go back again to try other items on the menu, but this is my honest opinion of the items that I tried. read more

I've been wanting to try Red Bloom since it opened and I finally went on a Tuesday night and we got seated immediately and the service was great! Our waitresses name was Luisa and she was quick, tentative and so sweet. The restaurant is nice inside, it all fits the same theme. We got the boneless braised short rib bao buns, the chicken ramen and the szechuan chicken. I enjoyed the chicken dish, it was pretty spicy and had good flavor and the bao buns were good, but slightly bland and a small serving for the price. Neither me or my boyfriend enjoyed the ramen, the yakitori chicken in the ramen was good, but you can order just the chicken. The ramen wasn't gross, but it was just bland; we ended up setting it aside and eating the other dishes instead. While the chicken was really good and the bao buns were good, the total with tip came out to around $70. I don't think any of the dishes were impressive enough to be as expensive as they were, that may be because it is in a casino, but we left thinking about some of our other favorite asain restaurants in Reno... where we could get a very similar chicken dish, appetizers and another entree for around $45. It was a fun date night because of the location and it feels nicer than some other asain restaurants, but overall I don't think I'd return. read more

Red Bloom - boneless braised short ribs, chicken ramen and szechuan chicken - Asian Fusion Near Me - Reno, Nevada

The Red Bloom is a awesome place to eat. Originally came to eat a specific meal that was being advertised on the pictures in the casino and come to find out the restaurant was false advertising. I complained about it to the waiter and she called the chef. Chef mike came over and explained the reason behind that which was very understanding. He seen how disappointed I was and offered to make that specific dish for me at least try is what he said. Let me tell you it was delicious and actually look better than the dish that was on the picture. It ended up being free also. I recommend you asked for this dish because now he's going to put it on the menu. If you're reading this ask for the meal that I'm talking about in this review you won't be disappointed!! read more

First time here everything we ordered was made fresh which is good but pricing was a bit too high for something you could get at a regular pho restaurant. Kimchi fried rice was bomb. A pork belly ramen good portion according to my sister it was good. Salt and pepper chicken wings were so good and pho was okay. Went there around 8:30-9ish I believe and customer service was bomb our server was Julio he was so attentive so thank you red bloom for a great first experience. read more

I stayed at the Atlantis Hotel for 2 1/2 weeks, getting takeout from Red Bloom multiple times. Everything was delicious!

In search of a good dim sum restaurant. Heard about this place, so thought we would try it out. We had the potstickers which were good. The tempura prawn were very good, light and crispy. Also had the shrimp and pork siu mai which were also very good. All came with dipping sauce which we loved. The pork belly bao buns were light and yummy also. Tried the dan dan noodles with are pretty spicy and very yummy. Overall, we will be going back when craving some dim sum and dan dan. My only negative thought, is I wish they had more dim sum choices. read more

Worst place I've ever gone to. This was my second time coming here, hoping it'd be better than the first experience. Food is very bland and use generic store bought teriyaki sauce for most of the dishes. Service took forever 30 mins for one of our appetizers which was edamame and waited an hour for food and a boba drink. Staff were unorganized even though the place is small. Don't recommend read more

Expect the fact that inside the casino is pricey but their food should exceed far expectations and I didn't think my experience was phenomenal. I won't go back and eat to this restaurant again read more

Gave it a second try. Just not good. Food is not tasty or fresh. Don't waste your money here. High price for low quality food

We have eaten here three times, I so want to enjoy their food, but this last time June 12, the food was awful! I do like their dumplings, we also had the bbq pork bums, so much dough hardly any filling! We ordered the wonton soup with added noodles, let me say, I am an excellent cook, I know flavor and I sure Know when there is no flavor! What is wrong with adding chicken stock or bullion to the broth, it tasted like nothing, dish water! We couldn't eat it, it was like eating nothing, no flavor! The Atlantis casino is our go to casino, we will go else where from now on to eat Asian food. But their Sushi Bar is wonderful! read more

I appreciate the effort and the staff was very pleasant, we tried numerous dishes and they were all edible but nothing screamed wow... We ordered the whole Peking Duck and it was like a deep fried pheasant so small and way over cooked, even the meat was crispy! The dim sum was very limited and not on par with a real Chinese restaurant. Again, I appreciate the effort here in Reno and I hope they improve. For the $300 we spent there, it was not up to the task. read more

I had the beef short ribs ramen, shu mai and har gow, spent $52 on just myself and food was bland, no flavor. I guess I had higher expectations. Disappointed. . I'd rather go to Honey Bakery at Keystone for dim sum. Oh well. read more

Just so bad. Worse than frozen dim sum. Awful. And crazy expensive too. No no no- please don't do it.

The food is terrible and expensive. Some days food are better. The dumplings are not fresh.

I sent an email to Red Bloom they wanted me to contact them so I did. No answer back no phone call no nothing. If you care about your customers you would reply back, They only say that to save face. They know Red Bloom is bad. But then Atlantis only cares about the big money it generates not really interested in your opinion. It's like society not everyone is going to like you it's just a hard reality. Okay I'll shut up now read more

Gave this a fly and was very disappointed. Wait time was longer than should be. A 15 minute wait for appitzers. Had to send back the edame, was tried out and spring rolls over cooked. The rice was way to dry, like it was cooked in the morning and kept warm. read more

Ordered half Peking duck and beef chow fun for takeout. The portion of duck was ridiculously small for the price and pretty fatty. On the other hand, the beef chow fun was delicious, though I'm not sure it's worth the price. When I went, there was only one party in the restaurant but I still had to wait a while to get my order and pay for it. I did think it was a nice little space but I'm not sure that I would come here again. read more

Beautiful and great service. I recommend giving this place a chance. The food was great!

I've been a long time black diamond at the Atlantis, where the red bloom is located. There are many great restaurants in the Atlantis but sometimes I like a little different thing and so I go to the red bloom. however, I will not be going back. Half the items on the menu are not prepared the same way two times in a row. often my to go order is incomplete or not what I ordered at all. Today I literally watched the girl write down my complete order and then she went to the computer and only typed in half of it and anytime you order something to go. They will tell you it is 15 to 20 minutes but every time it is 35 to 45 minutes do not go there! do not patronize this restaurant! read more

2 stars only because our waiter, Dominic, was awesome. I would personally give him 5 stars. He was friendly and personable. The restaurant itself... Waited 50 minutes for our food, one of the entries came out Luke warm at best. The hostess, Betsy H, was particularly rude...As someone representing a brand new establishment she does not leave a great first imoression. I know they just recently opened, however, at 25% capacity I expected a bit more. It should not take 50 minutes for Pho anywhere, especially fully staffed with less patrons. The food was fine, nothing special, Pho by nature is basic meal and hard to ruin. Again, Dominic was amazing but the restaurant itself is not one I would frequent, nor recommend. read more

We had a reservation for 11 people and they prepared three small tables of two together and placed 11 place settings on it. The manager was very ignorant as it took three conversations to make her realize the issue. The food is nowhere near what an authentic Chinese cuisine is. They are an overpriced Chinese fast food. Don't bother eating here and have your food anywhere else. Trust me, it'll be better. The one star rating is because it's clean. read more
