First time visiting this place, and I have to say, I'm impressed! It's a cozy little shop with two staff members running the show. They offer a variety of meat options, but it seems like certain types run out quickly--we went around 6:30 PM, and some were already gone. We ordered the 3-meat, 2-sides combo (pork ribs, BBQ pork, and grilled chicken) with mac and cheese and a house salad. The portions were huge! My husband and I shared it, still had leftovers, and everything was absolutely delicious. I also got the to-go dinner special, which included 3 meats (half portions) and 2 sides. If you order a combo, they'll give you a glass of wine or beer for free--but you need to let them know, as it's mentioned on a sign at the counter. I'll definitely be coming back. The prices are reasonable, especially considering the generous portions!

I'm going to preface this as a 4.5 star but the price and how nice the guy was had it lean more 5 than 4. Cute little place next to the Panda Express. I desperately needed somewhere with a wall plug to charge my phone, which the guy helped me figure out which one worked, so I came here. Delightful surprise. The $15.99 for three meats (chicken, rib, beef, rice, salad, cornbread, mac salad) with a $2.99 Thai tea/coffee (half and half) was a great price. Based on the photo I thought it'd be a small meal but it is sizable! Definitely at least two meals worth for me or one hearty meal for someone who eats more (teens I'm looking at you). The chicken is so good, moist, flavorful. Ribs cooked perfectly for me, not too soft but not difficult to chew with nice fat ratio. Although I saw some reviews saying otherwise, I enjoyed the bbq sauce personally. Didn't care for the Mac on the side but I think my husband would like it. The Thai tea/coffee is pretty good, boba was a bit hard and was probably not the freshest or maybe wasn't cooked completely. Still one of the better Thai tea/coffee I have gotten from somewhere not southeast Asian food place. Going to come back with my husband on one of his diet cheat days.

BBQ is so good I gotta leave another review!!! Just had lunch and left in a trance, barely could think on my way out (pregnancy brain haha!) Thank you for your amazing food and service!! I love this place, cozy and quiet with grooving music. Brisket is pro style.

I'd love to come here more often! Affordable, cozy BBQ food is too hard to find around here but Red Bee BBQ delivers. I tried their grilled chicken breast (a la carte) with Teriyaki sauce and it was fantastic! I really appreciate the option to get meat alone without sides or rice. Looking forward to coming back!

Super cheap. Has Asian elements - they serve boba, have rice as sides, and soy sauce is at every table. Some of the meat tasted dry without the sauce. It's worth your dollar but it's not amazing BBQ.

I entered from the back, not knowing there was also a front entrance. I have wanted to try this place for a while in Santa Rosa. The lady Mily was so friendly at the counter. I told her I had never been before and didn't quite know what to order. She allowed me to view just about everything. I quickly ordered the ribs, beef brisket, BBQ baked beans and the piping hot macaroni and cheese. Somebody call the fire department this macaroni and cheese is the bomb! The food is definitely good here, I enjoyed the ribs as well. Everything was tasty, the mouth water brisket fell apart like butter it was so juicy and tender. The BBQ baked beans were sorta on the luke warm side. Mily you met a new BFF, thanks for your generous hospitality!

Grabbed a quick dinner since we were in the hood. Order at the counter, get your food, pay and grab a seat. Brisket: 3/5 meat was a little tough. Ribs: 4/5 tasty even without the sauce. Bbq chicken: 4/5 good but ribs are better. Salad: good Cornbread: 4/5 moist and yummy! Friendly nice service.

Last month I ordered from here through DoorDash and left a bad review -- mainly because I didn't understand the cut of brisket I got. The owner, Ge, personally reached out to make it right, and today I went in to talk with him. From the start, Ge was nothing but professional and kind. He didn't argue or make excuses -- instead, he immediately wanted to fix it. He gave me a full plate (2 meats and 2 sides) completely free, then even took the time to show me a whole brisket, pointing out exactly which part I had last time and explaining the differences. I'd never had that cut before since I'm used to sliced brisket, so it was awesome to actually learn something new. Ge's customer service was outstanding -- he kept thanking me for coming in and giving him a chance to make it right, but honestly, I'm the one who should be thanking him. The brisket and pork ribs were AMAZING, just like always. I also want to sincerely apologize for my previous review -- I jumped to conclusions without understanding the food, and Ge went above and beyond to show what true customer care looks like. I hope everyone goes in and supports this amazing restaurant. They absolutely deserve it! Thank you again, Ge, for turning a misunderstanding into such a great experience. You've definitely earned my continued support!

Wow! My first time there and wow! My buddy kept talking about this place and so I finally checked it out and had the ribs and chicken with cornbread and slaw. It was awesome! The flavors were plentiful, the sauces was fantastic and the meat was perfectly smoked and finished to the point of falling off of the bone. Fabulous! Add to that the personal customer service from the owner and ridiculously low prices and yup, I'll be back. You could bring a family of 6 and pig out for about $50 or less. Unreal! read more

I was working in Windsor and needed to find a place to eat where they served protein and salad and found this little gem! The owner was so friendly and helpful and even suggested a low calorie salad dressing. I ordered a salad with Teriyaki chicken. First of all, the salad had so many yummy vegies, crisp lettace and a ton of chicken. I actually could barely finish it. The price was amazing as well. While I was in there it seemed that the owner knew most of the patrons. In other words, the same people must be coming in day after day. Thats how I gauge whether the food is consistent. Others have commented on how friendly the owner and staff are and how clean this restaurant is, so I won't go into that except to relate the owner's genuine interest in my experience. BBQ? Ah, I don't know. I've had better BBQ, but the quality of the meat and preparation were excellent, just not the best BBQ in the area. Prices are more than reasonable. They are fantastic! It was so nice to pay only $1.29 for a fountain drink when so many other places are charging twice that. So the four stars come from five for the service and experience, and three for the food. That works out to about four in my book. read more

We stopped in on impulse to try this new place in Windsor. Ordered a rack of ribs with two sides which cost under $20! This summer we tried ribs in a few cities we visited. The worst were in Lone Pine which is supposed to be cowboy country. The best, in Windsor, suburbia CA. We enjoyed the homemade mac and coleslaw, and look forward to tasting their BBQ chicken plates. We stopped in to check out Windsor's new Red Bee BBQ today. The owner cheerfully greeted us & gave us a little sample of some of the meat that is on the menu. Sold!That gesture wins my husband over every time! Hubby ordered the brisket with a side of slaw, and I had the ribs with a generous portion of salad. We shared a 2nd side of baked beans also included. The homemade Asian infused BBQ sauce was delicious with the ribs. All in all we went in hungry & left very full! Definitely give them a chance if you've never been here before. read more

If you're in Windsor and looking for a delicious inexpensive meal, this is the place. The best BBQ you'll ever taste. Consistently moist and tender, never dry. It comes with the requisite sides: beans, mac salad, cole slaw, cornbread, etc. All delicious, on a par with the meat. The best thing about Red Bee, though, is the owner. He's always there, greeting you with a smile and a free sample. I feel very fortunate to have this little gem here in my home town. I was a big fan of the original location on Stony Point in Santa Rosa, and still am. Please, please check it out! Windsor needs to support this place! read more

This was a great experience for my mother and me! We were greeted promptly and kindly, offered samples of all their meats, and were not rushed along at all. The bill for two (hugee!!) Plates and driinks was about $24. Everything we had was very tasty! So satisfying on this cold day, I will definitely be returning with friends. What an awesome change of pace!! The food here has exceeded my expectations and has the service as well. The girls that serve the food are very pleasant & professional in a world where work ethics has fallen by the wayside. I commend the owners for training their workers so well!! They are also very nice people. As for the food, the meat is tender & juicy, and is wonderful tasting, while the BBQ sauce has quite a unique taste, and makes a great addition to the meat. Oh and the potato salad is awesome!! What a great addition to Windsor. I definitely recommend Red Bee bbq!! read more

Very friendly and helpful staff. Some of the best food I've ever tasted. Large portions. Low prices. I must go back the next time in the area. Unique combination of Asian and western barbecue flavors. So it's difficult to categorize it. White rice is delicious. And the large size salad has your choice of veggies and dressing. read more

I feel very fortunate to work for this place and I am not coming from a biased state of mind. Our quality of food is great for the prices we have. I eat the food there every shift and even when I'm not working my family loves this place so sometimes we order from there for dinner and everyone loves It! The owner is there almost everyday to ensure everything is done properly and to help if needed since it has only been open for about 2 months. Everyone is well trained and we give out great customer service I recommend this place to everyone because it is absolutely amazing! I hope we get more people coming in as it feels good when people like our food and service and I grow as a part of this. read more

I was leary after reading some of the orginal reviews. My mistake on not going until now and plan to be a repeat customer after today. The meals were very fairly priced with more than enough to eat. All of the meats were so fresh I had a tough time deciding on what to try. The dining room appeared to be very clean with suprisingly lots of seating. My husband and I went here for dinner tonight and weren't sure what it was going to be like. We had the grilled chicken and the beef brisket with a side salad and baked beans...it was amazing! The food was very good quality meats with fresh salad and fixings and very affordable prices. The gentleman behind the counter greeted us with extreme kindness and professionalism. Service was great!! We highly recommend this place and will definitely be back...I'm so glad Windsor now has a good quality, friendly and affordable BBQ spot. I've had good BBQ in LA, Orange county, SF, Vegas, Texas and Tennessee and this place holds is weight against all of them. The portions for the price is second to none. Being from Texas originally, I know good BBQ and this is definitely NOT good! The meat sits in steamer vats and gets all rubbery and wet. The seasoning definitely has an Asian taste. It's not the right flavor or texture for BBQ! They even ran out of brisket at 8 pm, 1 1/2 hours before closing on a Friday night! Why the two stars you might ask? The service was great as were the prices. And the crazy corn deserves a 10! read more

Not your typical bbq but very good nonetheless. Food could have been a little hotter. It is walk-up counter service with all food held in steam table. Brisket delicious but very fatty. Sliced pork a little dry. Ask for bbq sauce. Green salad...fresh cold & crisp. Meals are large portion at fair prices. Very clean atmosphere. Would definitely go back. read more

Ribs were over done but ok and were sat on chopped iceberg lettuce why? beef brisket was way overdone and dry, and the cornbread was inedible. Won't be going back. They didn't even have Mac and cheese available. read more

This review is five stars…read more I would put it as 1,000 million gazillion stars if I could It's not about the food. I never ate there It's about the character. They preserved and returned a lost wallet and took no money out of it and kept it safely for days. That's character. That's what you do when no one's watching. I can only imagine their food is at least as good as their character. My wife took a phone call in front of their store after they were closed, and unbeknownst to her, her wallet fell out right there in front of the door. We had no idea. A few days later our dog has an emergency and she has to go to the vet to save its life, can't find her wallet. Tells me to look in her school bag she's a teacher. Not in there. For Christmas I bought everybody peace of mind by using my engineer minf to find the best deal on Android system compatible location devices. I bought a bunch of Pebble bee And one of those was in my wife's wallet. And it told us, once we realized her wallet was lost, using Google find me, it showed it sitting over where we went to the movies just days before. Yep, my wife was so clueless, she didn't realize her wallet was missing for days. That's what you get with pay with Google pay on phone these days. You never take your wallet out She went up there the next morning, after being up so so late with our almost dying dog, who thankfully pulled through after 3 days in the excellent emergency room at the vet by Costco in Santa Rosa And they gave it back. She bought a soda just to give them something. Even though they had just opened. And she wasn't hungry. They saved her ass.

I do like spicy stuff but kind of a wimp if it's too spicy and the sandwich was just perfect! It had heat for sure, but wasn't too spicy. It was either Togos sandwich or we would try this new BBQ joint which has been open for 3 or 4 months, why not, get some nice pork meat stuck in my teeth. Order the rib plate which was two ribs, some cole slaw and corn bread. The first thing I noticed is that the ribs were tough and not "falling of the bone" style which would have made it easier to eat. Over sauced for my liking, cole slaw nothing special and the corn bread was dry. But then it's suppose to be dry anyway. The price was about 8 bucks, so compared to lunch anywhere else, it's a deal. Red Bee BBQ is one my favorite spots to eat in Windsor. There is so much to choose from and everything they serve is amazing! Their meal deals are such an incredible value. My favorites are the BBQ chicken and pulled pork with baked beans and coleslaw. I always add a side of corn bread with their honey butter because it is to die for.
