Sourdough & Co gives every other sandwich place around here a run for their money. The staff at this location is awesome and super friendly. There is plenty of seating available. One woman who was working at the counter gave us plenty of recommendations to make sure we ordered what we wanted. We ordered the six inch sandwiches, which were plenty for us. We ended up eating half and taking the other half home for later. I ordered the toasted pastrami and provolone. My wife ordered the turkey pesto and a side of Mac and cheese. I'm picky about pastrami, and generally only get it at Togos. Let me tell you, the pastrami at Sourdough & Co is SO MUCH better than Togo's. It's so fresh and the slices are thicker. They don't microwave it like they do at Togos either. The sourdough bread wasn't too hard or stale tasting. It was slightly crunchy on the outside and light and soft on the inside. The strong sour taste that you'd expect from a good sourdough bread definitely shines through. My wife loved the bold flavor of the pesto and the Mac and cheese tasted like it was home made. My wife was talking to the woman who worked there about how much she loved pesto. As we were walking out, the woman said that they were inspired to make a pesto butter and offered for us to try it. It was on point! And I hope it gets added to the menu. Some advice: This location gets really busy around lunch time. People want lunch, they think sandwiches. So please be patient with the staff, they are doing the best they can and are making your sandwiches fresh to order. They also get a lot of catering orders from local businesses. read more

Come on. You call this a pickle? I think I'm done with this place. The old owners were so much better. These guys weigh everything. The sandwiches do not look like the pictures and now they are cutting the quarter pickle slices in half so now you get a sliver. I've only tried the salad there and it wasn't too bad. The place was okay and semi clean. The service was good and the people were super nice and fast. I always give myself a day or two before I write a bad review or a good review. Just wanted to sit with me for a moment to make sure I am not being biased one way or another. I have been to this company for a sandwiches before the last time. I was there a few months ago I ran into a similar issue as I did yesterday. I order online. It gives me an approximate time and I know those very because of you know circumstances. And I'm not looking for it to be ready the exact time. However, when I arrived, there was people giving orders and their sandwiches were coming up and being made and then getting to leave. After about 20 minutes after my time that it said to pick up, I went to the front and asked them. Where is my sandwich as people coming in after me we're just doing their order and have left and they said oh we don't look at online orders. What? If you go to their website, it says order online. I ended up waiting almost 45 minutes after the time that I was supposed to pick up the sandwich. I'm not happy. I also watched the person at the register having one glove on go in touch fresh bread out of the oven with the glove and then going in cashing people out touching the register with that glove and touching other things and then going and making sandwiches. Not very hygienic! This happening after the second time I've been there. I don't think I'm gonna be going back. I don't understand their way of business. Very disappointed in this location. Love other Sourdough & Co shops though. Had gone in a couple months ago to ask about a catering order of 18 sandwiches and how much it would cost for 3 different kinds of meat sandwiches, same fixings and 18 cookies. They could not give me a firm price until I placed the actual order - what?? They were not very pleasant either. I asked if they had some kind of catering menu and they said no, had to place an order to receive the cost information. Really sad but something good came out of it. Found West Coast Sandwich shop in Windsor and it was great! Catering prices up front, the wait staff smiled and everyone really enjoyed their sandwiches . Really disappointed in the product, they show a sandwich with deli style pastrami stacked thick. What you get is a couple of super thin slices of what I would call packaged lunch meat you buy from the grocery store. All I tasted was the tomatoes, lettuce and pickle. We use the Sourdough & Co for large orders of sandwiches for fire instructors during testing. The employees have always been helpful and prompt with the orders. Normal sandwiches with nothing really added to it. I tried their gluten free bread, a bit dry. I didn't care for the flavor but that might just be the gluten talking to my belly. The young men working at the store have poor customer service. I came in to enjoy a pastrami sandwich for lunch. The first thing I noticed was crappie customer service. The guy at the counter was speaking literally too fast, and he has broken English on top of it, so it made it almost impossible to understand him. I was given food, and the sandwich was bare had hardly any meat. Being a fan of sourdough and co. sandwiches coming from the bay area, the amount of meat was light. I also have about 15 years in the food industry, and I do understand they refill the condiment bottles, but I opened a cholula that they have on the table, and there was a caped of amount of mold and nasty stuff on the bottle and under the cap and when I brought it to them they seemed quite bothered I noticed. The person who took our order was very nice. That being said walking there is an overwhelming aroma of onion. Our eyes were burning the whole time waiting for our order. We observed one employee wearing gloves touching the counter, pens and paper then proceeding to make a sandwich without changing or washing their hands. It is located in the old Gamestop location by Walmart. I was working and was driving back to work and stopped for a sandwich. The cashier is friendly. I ordered the smoked brisket sandwich. We chatted while I was waiting for my order. It also allowed me to watch how they made sandwiches since I read all the reviews. They don't put veggies on until after your sandwich is warmed up. I love this place ever since they opened up finally a amazing sandwich shop in Windsor. So savory with top notch quality meats. Great service I love the manager and the assistant manger both her and him being the best with amazing customer service I have ever seen! Stopped in here and got a sandwich. The four-inch is literally 4 inch sandwich. It's not a lot and the prices are a bit high and not a lot of meat.
