The food was amazing! We came here before heading to the Doran beach for the day. Everything was amazing. We got pork ribs, pulled pork, two types of links and sides- Mac and cheese, collard greens, and baked beans. Plus corn bread and for dessert the banana pudding. The cons were few and even though I'd list these as a con everything was still amazing - the greens were a little salty but when I ate them with some beans or the Mac and cheese the flavor balanced out. On their own just a tiny bit too salty. The cornbread was a tad too dry. The pros were basically EVERYTHING else. And the surprise treat of banana pudding made everyone's eyes go BIG a tasting the amazing flavor and lovely consistency of the pudding. Definitely save room for dessert!!! I have to admit though - BBQ and sides are very subjective if you have a great BBQ boss/ soul food chef in your family... truly everything on our table was AMAZING. Came here for lunch on a Saturday around 11:20/11:25. We ordered a rack of pork ribs, a pound of brisket (half fatty and half lean), a jalapeño cheddar sausage, and a half chicken. four sides we got the mac & cheese, potato salad, honey cornbread, apple coleslaw, and the banana pudding. I think I like the fatty brisket more but the brisket was too salty. The Jalapeño cheddar sausage way too spicy, I mean, I know it's a jalapeño so it's supposed to be spicy, but it was like really really spicy. The pork ribs were mine and everyone's my favorite. They weren't really dry and had a good smoke flavor. The chicken was good and had a good smoke but some pieces were a little dry. All the side were good despite some bad reviews on Yelp. Mac and cheese not too heavy. I like their spin on potato salad it wasn't heavy at all. The pickled onions, were good, Apple slaw was really good. Usually I don't get coleslaw, but this was really nice refreshing and help cut through the salt. The banana pudding was really nice. The honey biscuit was tough and not soft. Service was great and friendly and they answered all my questions. We timed coming here really great. When we got here there was only one person in line and by the time I went to pay, the line was to the other side of the dining area. They have a few tables outside and a cover tent area and they have a good handful of tables inside. Pretty solid barbecue but some things were pretty salty. Finally got to come here after hearing all the hype about this place on social media. We got here around 1pm on a Sunday and waited about 15 minutes in line. There is an indoor and outdoor seating area with options for larger tables and parties. We got the two meat combo, with brisket and the half chicken and our side options were the cowboy caviar and mac & cheese. We wanted the baked beans but unfortunately they were already out by that point of the day. I am not a huge brisket lover because of all of the fat that's usually on it, but it did have good flavor and definitely melted in your mouth. The chicken also had good flavor but was a little dry. The cowboy caviar was such a hit and I appreciated that they added tortilla chips on the side, so you could eat it like a dip. The macaroni and cheese was also very good - it was more of a cheesy sauce. Whatever I write in this review will not fully encapsulate the jaw-dropping flavor this place has. The pulled pork sando was so filling in and of itself but with those sides?? You'll walk away with a full stomach and some leftovers for dinner. The baked beans were the showstopper for me. Please do not pass those up whenever you come by. The cornbread was dense (in a good way) and super moist. The brisket was tender and the flavor on that pork rib--my God. We came about 20 minutes after they opened. Returned with some friends so they could experience the dream of A&M BBQ. Each time I come (it's now been 3-4x) I like to try something different. Today I ordered the Smoked Turkey Sandwich. I was a little skeptical as Turkey often times can be dry but man... this wasn't the case for A&M BBQ's Smoked Turkey Sandwich. The presentation was nice and it came with several thick pieces of sliced smoked turkey. The meat was tender and juicy and I didn't need a beverage to wash it down. The buns they use are soft and really good as well. I honestly wasn't expecting the white sauce and had my BBQ sauce ready to throw on to the sandwich but it truly didn't need it. The white sauce, (while I don't know what it was, maybe a white bbq sauce because it was on the sweeter side?) was delicious and I didn't need the traditional bbq sauce. We had their BBQ at Cookout at the Vineyard in Santa Rosa and it was absolutely delicious. The tri tip and smoked turkey were the standouts. I have never had smoked turkey from a barbecue spot before, but I would absolutely have theirs again. We also really liked the mac and cheese which was creamy and decadent! It had great flavor. It was buttery, falling on the bone, and packed with flavor. The pork ribs were also outstanding. They were tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. The absolute star was the brisket. It was the perfect balance of marbled fatty goodness and tender meat. I will be fantasizing about it forever. The sides were also on point! Also shared a 2 meat combo plate with pulled pork and oxtail (most other cuts of meat were sold out by the time we ordered around 6pm). Huge portions of tender and juicy meat, and enough leftovers for a second meal for the both of us. Staff was super friendly and prices were so reasonable for the quality of the food. If they are forced to leave Sebastopol, would love to see them in Redwood City where we live (and where I'm sure they'd be welcomed with open arms)! read more

The turkey, brisket, and oxtail were out of this world - perfectly smoked, juicy, and so flavorful I didn't even *need* the sauce (but the sauces were great too). The candied yams and collard greens tasted like somebody's grandma was in the kitchen, and the banana pudding was the kind of dessert you keep thinking about on the drive home. Unless you are an east coaster you couldn't possibly understand how much that roll elevates and sets off this delicious masterpiece of a burger. I've had many, many, many, many burgers in my time and this may possibly be the best burger I've ever had. It's so innovative and well done that it's a perfect burger. Is it the classic American cheese burger? No, it's not but if you want that there are many places to go for that but if you are looking for the next level with the Gouda cheese and pickles topping this burger it's hard not to love it all. Oh and did I mention they have banana pudding made fresh as well we're walking in it was the best ending to greatness. Look I go to a lot of spots and eat a ton of great food.
