Arabic Shawarma Plate (New) Chicken Kabob Plate Lentil Soup
    Gabriella I.

Ordered KF for take out last night. We ordered the Arabic sandwich which comes on thin pita with sides of garlic/white sauce and fries. Delicious! The chicken kebob plate had generous portion of chicken, hummus and tabouli salad. They gave us a bag of pita and two heaping bowls of lentil soup. We were so satisfied and even have leftovers. We're also happy to support a local family. Thank you!!

Food was ok, nothing special. A little disappointing if I am being honest; with 4.5 star review on yelp I was expecting more. Service was decent, ambience was bare.

This place is absolutely delicious and authentic--I've been to the Middle East, and this is perfect--the texture and flavors! And really nice people! Enjoyed it thoroughly

Best falafel I think I've ever had! I ordered the platter and it came with hummus and tabouleh. So yummy & healthy. My daughter lives near the area and introduced me to this place.. I'll def be back next time I visit!

The supreme gyro plate with baba ganoush. Not a bad bite

Easy-to-miss storefront but so glad we happened on it. We almost thought it was closed since it was so dimly lit outside. Amazing food. Restaurant is older looking, simply furnished. Every item on the supreme gyro plate was delicious. Chickpea impressively came through the hummus. Baba ganoush was extremely silky. Tabouli was so fresh. Usually a forgettable intermission bite, the pickled radish was one of the most memorable elements. Falafels were also delicious and freshly made. Most restaurants around had waits upwards of 45 mins. This was the forth restaurant we stopped at. They were empty around dinner time on a weekend but it absolutely shouldn't be!

We came here with our local friend who gave it high recommendations. The server was nice, lots of atmosphere, reasonable prices for falafel, gyros, salads and sides. I got the regular falafel sandwich $9 and my friends got the deluxe falafel sandwich for $10. Everything was fresh, the bread was thin and crispy with great sauces. Wish this place was by my house!

King Falafel rocks! We've loved their food ever since we moved to Sebastopol a few years ago. So much so that we asked them to cater our wedding. They knocked it out of the park on all fronts-- customer service, taste, price. Would absolutely recommend for catering or an everyday meal.

10/10 Arabic Shawarma. Let us dine in 15min before close. Been coming here since I was a kid and 15 years later it still hits.

He let us sample hummus and baba gannouj which were excellent!!! Highly recommend the baba gannouj! He was very patient with us and allowed us to customize our orders to fit our dietary restraints. I really appreciate that! Do be patient because it takes time for him to make everything by himself, but it's worth it!!! Falafel Wrap $16.95 (10/5 stars) - swapped out the hummus for baba gannouj which I recommend, there are so many flavors working in harmony and everything tastes fresh, the veggies were so nice and crisp, the falafel was well seasoned Beef Gyro Shawarma Plate $25.95 (10/5) - my partner reported that this was excellent especially the grilled Lavash bread, perfectly crispy, the interior was perfectly balanced and delicious Baklava $6.99 for 2 (10000000/5) - I have eaten so much baklava and this is the best I've ever had, the separate top layer of just the filo pastry without the honey is genius, so you get a perfect crunch ratio to the part soaked in honey, if you have to get 1 thing I recommend this Arabic/Turkish Coffee (5/5 stars) - it was on the house which next time he better let me pay, this is what coffee should taste like, none of that water down American coffee, straight coffee in it's purest densest form, no additives or spices, pure shot of coffee Overall, he got 2 new customers.

We ordered three wraps: chicken shawarma, falafel shawarma, and the veggie wrap. The chicken shawarma was the star--super juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. You can really taste how well-seasoned and moist the chicken is. The falafel shawarma was also really good. Falafel can naturally be a bit dry, so maybe a little extra sauce would make it even better, but overall the wrap had great flavor and fresh veggies. The veggie wrap was delicious too. It comes with avocado and a mix of fresh vegetables. Avocado with falafel is actually a great combo. All the sauces were amazing--the tzatziki, the red sauce, and the toum (garlic sauce). They're full of flavor and elevate the wraps so much. Also salad is exceptional, I'm not normally a salad person but I finished this salad in a minute. The customer service was exceptional. Sam was incredibly kind and cooked everything right in front of me. It took a few extra minutes, but you could tell he was putting real care into every order. Since it was my first time, he even gave me a spinach pie for free, which was really sweet of him--and it tasted great. Overall, highly recommend checking out Sam's Mediterranean. Amazing food, great service, and definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

We'd been around before, but most times ended up next door getting mediocre bagels. I'm so glad this time we ended up here! We placed our order for two gyros, and had some pastries to eat while we waited. Mine was so good, I absolutely scarfed it down. The filo crust and walnuts were really tasty and it helped stabilize my blood sugar while I waited for lunch. While waiting I needed to use the bathroom, which ended up being very weird, I needed to trek far and around, go through a secret door with another passcode and another locked door, and had to be let in by staff. Interesting. Also made me miss the retro diner that used to be in this block with amazing malts. Anyway, back to the food. Once I was back, our gyros were ready and they were gorgeous. Mine was in a wheat pita and I asked for extra hummus. His was lamb on white pita and we both tore into them. Baby had some yogurt sauce and some gyro meat and she loved it too! Hubs said it was the best gyro in the county, which is high praise because if gyro's on the menu, he gets it. He reminisces about his time in Greece and is always chasing that illusive perfect pita gyro. Now that we know gyro perfection is here, you better believe we're going to be back. Id so much rather do local business than go to Nick the Greek or some other chain. Even if it does mean having a secret handshake to get into the bathroom club...still worth it. Prices are average, quality is good, portions are generous, and parking is easy and free onsite. Only downside is the bathroom situation so better make sure you go before you leave home or work if you're headed here.

I've always appreciated the fresh ingredients and authentic flavors, which made me a regular customer. But here I am at 2026, shaking my head, wondering what happened to the original vibrant flavors and the restaurant's knack for impressing diners. I ordered the Mediterranean salad, hoping it would taste the same as it always has, with generous chunks of feta cheese, ripe olives, and a well-balanced vinaigrette. But I can honestly say I was extremely disappointed. They used to include large, crumbly blocks of feta cheese that I could crunch up and enjoy with the olives. This time, I received a salad with only about three small olives and shredded Parmesan cheese. I added my own vinaigrette, along with salt, pepper, and olive oil, but that barely enhanced the flavor. The taste seemed really off, reminiscent of week-old vegetables that had been sitting in the fridge too long, losing their freshness. I'm sorry, Nick the Greek, but this time I have to say you failed me. You did Sonoma County and me a big disservice, leaving me disappointed with a meal that fell far short of your usual standards.

We've also gotten a chicken pita, the mediterranean bowl, and the side salad. Fries don't really travel well so we've refrained from getting those unless we're actually there. The lamb/gyro bowl has usually been solid since the meat has been good. The chicken pita the meat was pretty dry unfortunately so we've ventured away from that one. I liked the mediterranean bowl for the crispy chickpeas. It'd usually be a lot of lettuce and rice though and not enough of the other veggies. There's different inconsistencies with the food and what you get on that end balance wise. Adding veggies or just the regular included veggies would not amount to much, but feels worse so if it's a cost. We've also gotten the sauce and fries on the side since usually the fries wouldn't be worth it delivery wise, and the sauce on the side makes things easier to control.
