Rapid iPhone Repair? Nah, that's just the name of the shop. One star is being generous. Avoid this establishment at all costs, they have questionable knowledge and a couldn't care less ZERO customer service approach and attitude despite some glowing reviews. They had my iPhone for over three weeks; after quoting $129 and a turnaround time of 3-5 days for a back light repair I heard nothing so called for an update and was told the phone was still at the repairers (they apparently outsource the repairs on certain repairs requiring a degree of technical expertise- a fact I was not informed about till much later). On numerous subsequent phone calls to them (they never took the initiative to call me) I was told different stories as to any progress- I rarely spoke to the same person twice and the story changed every time - anything from "it's still being repaired", "it wasn't taken to where it should have gone but it's now gone", "someone has gone off with an emergency and has your phone", "we're trying to find it BUT we have the screen", "the repairers haven't got back to us, we're chasing it up"...to eventually saying "we are unable to fix it". If these guys used a really good product, it wouldn't be so bad. The problem is they tell you how it's as good as OEM, and it is far from it. My experience...... Original Apple screen lasted 1.5 yrs and several drops w/o a problem. When we did crack it, we called Rapid. She swears she didn't even drop it (after new rapid repair screen) and it cracked just being in her purse after like 4 days. This had never happened b4. After quite a bit of hassle, they would not warranty it. I said fine, but I will be posting my experience. I don't believe in using yelp to take advantage of a company, but people should know the product is quite inferior. (they said 'same gorilla glass, etc., not so much). *******They attach a new piece of glass to an old digitizer. (in house) ******* I needed to send pics of crack to 'co-owner alex' who again tried hard to not warranty it. They finally did (after delaying and rescheduling when this would happen). Finally second shitty screen installed (no extra cost). After a month or so she noticed the second screen from rapid started detaching from glass with no drops. Cracked right after the first drop... I'm at Apple right now and am so happy to see the new screen. The phone just looks better and I know it will not give me trouble. Sorry Rapid. read more

Took my phone here for water damage. I fell in the pool with my phone and it broke the screen, it's not cracked, it just will not display anything. The tech checked it and replaced the screen. I initially went to "U Break It I Fix It" repair but was turn away because they said they don't fix water damage phone when clearly on their website stated that they do. Waste of time, don't go there. Rapid iPhone took my phone without any hesitation, fixed it while I waited. Bam! Good as new. Can't thank these guys enough. i had the glass replaced on my iphone 5. After i left, i realized they had bent and Twisted the case. Within 48 hours I had a stress fracture across the top of the glass. The fix came with. 90 day warranty. Due to work was unable to go back for about 10 days with receipt in hand. I was told that they wouldn't replace with the original glass (which i paid $67 for) but would do a subpar glass that would diminish the colors on my phone. What kind of warranty is that? Beware people.. the warranty is useless. Not only am I out the $67 dollars but the $15 for the shock case. Never again will I go to a small business like this.
