There is an outside patio that will be nice to use when the weather is a little warmer. Inside, the space is good sized, with both booths & tables. Our server was very nice, friendly and welcoming. Food was very good. Stronger coffee (which I prefer). My husband & I both had omelettes. The omelettes are made with 3 eggs & come with toast & potatoes. We always ask to have the potatoes cooked a little crispier and they were good. Prices were good. I noticed that there are gluten free items on the menu too. We will be back.

It comes with the mixed veggies (Broccoli. Carrots. Squash) and potato of the day (homemade mashed potatoes). The steak was a bit chewy and did not seem to be a typical prime cut of beef I am used to getting back in Texas. Maybe prime beef in Connecticut isn't as good quality, who knows. The homemade bread that comes out before the dinner is good but hard. It's also very garlicky. Service was a bit awkward. Our waitress came by halfway through and said she was checking to make sure we were well taken care of...but my tea was almost empty and she just walked off and didn't say she'd refill it. I eventually had to flag her down a few mins later to ask for a refill. At fancy restaurants, they just fill it without you asking. She also messed up my colleagues meal. He asked for no squash and the chef seemed to put extra squash on his plate. She should have remembered that he didn't want squash. Overall, it was a decent experience, but I just expected more from a fancy restaurant. You pay a little more for better food and better service, but we didn't get that here.

It was good to leave the tomato and lettuce off as the height of the burger made it tough to bite into. The fries were disappointing. They had the right color for being fried and crispy but they were limp and soft. They are clearly are fresh cut from large potatoes but really need to be fried longer to get that crispy crunch you'd expect. Told the server that and was told to ask for the fries extra crispy. Overall not a bad first trip. We'll go back and try some other things on the menu and see what extra crispy fries are like.

Since the weather was pleasant in October, we decided to sit outside. For starters, we shared a rustic bread roll served with pesto, herb, and garlic butter, and olive tapenade. In my opinion, the olive tapenade really stole the show, giving the bread a bold flavor. The bread itself was soft, warm, and utterly delicious. We also tried the signature wings coated in maple sriracha and the Memphis dry rub wings. Although I couldn't distinctly taste the maple or sriracha, the wings were still packed with flavor and perfectly seasoned. I have been a regular customer since preCOVID. Additionally, I was a customer prior to their name…read morechange. They have always delivered to my home, but this evening said I am outside their delivery zone after my family all planned what we were going to order which involved an order for four adults totaling over 80.00. Safe to say, they also lost money since we were ordering a substantial amount of food, and not to mention, had not planned that they would deny delivery. The supposed manager I spoke to yesterday simply denied delivery. I called them this morning and spoke to the owner to inform him that their Facebook advertisement indicates they deliver to my region. He stated he will change his Facebook page. He indicated they will only deliver within twelve minutes and my address is in excess of that by four minutes. We will no longer order from them and will no longer dine in. If you recognize that we ordered during Covid to assist in keeping them afloat then you should recognize an ingrate owner for a 4 minute additional delivery. Moreover, my current delivery shows 14 minutes. You have lost us as customers and I hope others that were ongoing supportive clients of yours during Covid will feel the same need to disengage from you. Best regards, Sharon Cushman
