Great family run restaurant, friendly and prompt service. Ambiance very warm and casual. Food was amazing, drinks were well prepared.

I find myself at a conference in Connecticut looking for a nice prime rib. Thank you Yelp for some great suggestions as always. We chose the skyline restaurant and it was a great choice. We arrived at the parking lot, which was spacious with room for a lot of cars. The signage on the building was fabulous. Easy to see from both directions far down on the street. For those of you that are wheelchair bound there's a big heavy duty cement ramp. You can roll right up nice and easy. The restaurant itself was quite large with a full bar. We were seated in the room off to the left rather than the bar area, which we requested. I believe Ellen was the nice young woman that waited on us and did a fabulous job. The three of us and the group we got different sides, but we got the prime rib. The prime rib was cooked we ordered. We had a medium rare, a medium, and a medium well and they did a great job cooking all three. The side orders were sufficient size and they also served warm bread and butter. All in all it was a great meal.

I would highly recommend this restaurant . It is family owned and the owners are always there and engaging with the customers . We had a wonderful dinner tonight at the bar. we live about 40 minutes away but take the trip because the food is so wonderful. One of our favorites is the shrimp scampi appetizer tonight. We were there for dinner and had the lasagna and a baked stuffed shrimp. It is also one of my favorite places for French onion soup. I have to do a shout out for the roasted vegetables that came with the meal. As you can see from my picture it is very happy and it was also wonderful! Very beautiful presentation! My husband had a lasagna and it was wonderful! The meals also come with a soup or salad, which is dwindling down at other restaurants.

Our go to stop when we pick my parents up from the airport. My dad loves the prime rib special. Great price and awesome portion and flavor ( as he reports). My mum gets the cod and cleaned her plate. My beef tips were cooked to perfection and the gravy was good, but for me it was just a little too much gravy. The tips were perfect without all that gravy. Kiddo got the buffalo chicken wrap. We are always happy with our meals. Service is great. Very friendly and the staff are patient with my dad's odd sense of humor. Always quiet, beautifully decorated

My wife and I stopped in at the Skyline restaurant for an early Sunday dinner. We haven't been here in while and from what I remember, it was pretty good a few years ago so I had high hopes. The food was decent but unfortunately the service was not up to par. After we got our drinks and meals, we didn't see our waitress for the rest of the day (or at least until the bill came). The waitress didn't bring any bread for the table until after we finished our meals (shouldn't the bread come at the beginning?) She also neglected to come back to check in on us, for a second round of drinks or even to ask "How is everything"? Perhaps if I did a curbside pickup, I would have given this review more stars based just on the food alone.

Every tine I overnight in Bradley I come to the Skyline, They always treat me like a local and family. Took a seat at the bar and service was almost instant. The bartenders pay attention and know how to work a bar, They were asking me if I was ready for a refill just as the empty glass hits the bartop. I never have to ask for their attention. On point. Now for the food, this is about my 10th visit to Skyline and the menu does not disappoint. I've had the prime rib special, Eggplant Parmesan several times and my all time favorite for this NE ginzo is the Zuppa di Clams over linguine. This time it was at 12:45 midnight when I ordered on this Saturday night now Sunday morning. Kitchen was open until 1AM. I highly recommend taking in some local atmosphere and become a local even if it just for one night. The prime rib rivals some high end steak houses. You will absolutely love this dive and so would #GuyFieri Hey, #FoodNetwork, you paying attention?

Stopped into the Skyline Restaurant in Windsor Locks, CT on a Sat for karaoke. So much fun! Servers Kate and Giustina at the bar were exemplary! Steve, the karaoke jockey was so nice as well. You can walk into this place alone, not knowing anyone, and feel safe. Highly recommend!

Cheese burger finished! I tried to stay away from the roll but it looked like a really good one,

The wine flight did not disappoint -- we tried the red, white & a combination, all solid pours. The cheese box is necessary if you're trying the flight ( or you can bring your own food). Aquila's gives a 30-minute grace period, which helped since the area gets very dark at night and the roads are narrow. I knew ahead of time there would be a lobster food truck and a live salsa band. When you arrive, you check in with the hostess, though there's no clear hostess stand since she's stationed at the end of the bar. The inside was crowded with no available seats, but we weren't there for the band anyway. Our igloo had a heater, but two would've been ideal. They recommend bringing a blanket, which I forgot, but it wasn't too cold--around the high 40s. We tried the "Sweet Wine Flight," which included Sparkling Rosé, Moscato, and white and red wine slushies. The white wine slushy was my favorite. It started raining while we were there, and everyone with fire pits cleared out, so I was extra glad we chose an igloo. They offered a cheese box, but it looked too small, so we stuck to drinks. Our server was polite and brought everything out quickly. Reservations give you two hours, and we had a great time. I like the variety of reservation options they offer. For suggestions: it would be nice to have a real charcuterie board instead of tiny cheese and veggie boxes. The indoor space could also be larger, especially for people coming for the live band, and there are no seats around the bar. Overall, though, it's a cozy spot, and I enjoyed the experience.

Ladies and gentlemen, I would like to take this opportunity to extend my sincerest congratulations…read moreon deciding to enter into the lifetime commitment of marriage! At this point in time, you have been searching the internet far and wide I am sure to find the right services for your wedding entertainment, and keeping in line on a strict budget. I wish to tell you of my personal experience with Gabriel Fierro and his services at Milestone Entertainment of New England. Upon meeting with him, I knew firsthand that he was not some fly-by-night or on-the-side DJ but one who puts his sincerest passion and hard work into ensuring that everyone has the kind of entertainment experience that they have always dreamed of while working closely with us within our strict budget. Everything was thoroughly planned out from beginning to end, as we also employed his services as wedding officiant. The wedding packet shown to us was very detailed and gave us a plethora of options to choose from in addition to adding in our own ideas. We wanted a very unique wedding, and indeed, Mr.Fierro and his staff were extremely accommodating and helpful throughout this process. His prices were very reasonable and the quality of entertainment far surpassed my expectations! I have been to several weddings throughout my lifetime, and the most recent ones where I was a guest in attendance the bride and groom decided to hire someone who only did entertainment on the side, worked off of an iPod, and had no personality whatsoever. This was not the case when I worked with Mr.Fierro and company. He let us choose which music we preferred to have played and which music we did not want to have played, in addition to a perfectly run timeline of events that went off without a hitch that complemented our photographer extremely well. His and his emcee's personalities really reflected that of the kind of wedding we wished to have, because they took the time to get to know us one-on-one through several in-person meetings. They were punctual, formally-dressed, well synchronized to our venue, and all-around fantastic people to work with. My wedding guests told us that the entertainment we chose made our weddings one of the best they had ever attended, and I cannot help but believe this is because of how much Milestone went to understanding our needs! Before you settle on someone who you know that "does DJing on the side" and/or "is a friend of the family willing to do it for dirt cheap", please seriously consider having a free, no-obligation in-person consultation with the folks at Milestone. My husband and I were married a year ago and we still have people raving about how fantastic the whole event was!

COVID-19 Wedding We…read morefell in love and booked this venue a year in advance. Due to COVID-19 restrictions put in place by The Governor Charlie Baker we were unable to hold our wedding as stated in the contract, a contract that we had paid in full. We had to forgo our wedding becuase of the Pandemic and ALL of our vendors except Mill 1 refunded us and were extremely gracious. The owner believed that he was not in breach of contract even though we paid for a space for 50+ guests, a dance floor, & a bar which due to COVID-19 he was unable to provide any of those things. its NO ONES fault that these restrictions were put in place it just comes down to being able to provide what was paid for. None of us would have thought a year ago that we would be "social distancing" and wearing face masks everywhere we go. The owner stopped replying to emails after we asked him straight up (so he would simple have to say YES, he can provide us with was was in the contract or NO, he cannot. ) We had to get our lawyer to reach out and inform the owner that he was in fact in breach of the contract & that further action will be taken if he continues to refuse to return our money. Of course the morning after our lawyer was in touch with him we got an email back from John. This time stating that we could have our wedding at Mill 1 BUT with only 25 people inside or with 100 people outside at another location outside the building of Mill 1 (which by the time our wedding date came around was no longer allowed in MA due to further restrictions put into place). But that is simply thats not what we paid for and were promised by our conrtact that we had signed and paid in full. We paid for the gorgeous building and the ambiance it provides. Not something out in the parking lot with less than half the guests we wanted. John would still not address the fact that we couldnt have a dance floor or a bar. He told our lawyer that he would give us half of our money back but only if we signed an NDA (non-disclosure act) so we couldnt inform the public on how he chooses to run his business no less how he chooses to treat consumers during a PANDEMIC. Our lawyer asked him for that in writing...we never got it. Spoke to our lawyer today (7/29/2020) and we have to formally sue the venue, John Aubin had no response to the letter our lawyer sent over on 7/21/2020. Today is 9/8/2020 and yesterday we finally recieved some kind of correspondance with the venue. We got an email from Regina (event coordinator) asking us if we would be using the space on 9/12/2020 for our wedding. Our attorney reached out to the venues owner John Aubin on 9/5/2020 to inform him that we would be continuing with our choice to not modify our wedding that we had paid in full for & that he could reach out at any time prior to discuss options but either way we would be continuing with legal action against Mill 1. We got no response from him. The email from Regina was fowarded by us to our attorney who kindly informed her of where we stood on the matter. Please note that Regina also mentioned that we needed to respond to her by 9/8/2021 (yes, she said 2021 obviously meaning 2020) so they decided to reach out at 1am, on a Holiday weekend, only 5 days prior to our original wedding date, and give us 1 day to respond, ONLY after the owner recieved notice that we would be persuing further legal action, coincidence? We dont think so either. Today is Monday, 9/14/2020 - our wedding was supposed to be a few days ago, no word from venue. Today is 12/30/2021- Yes, the end of 2021. We haven't heard a thing from John Aubin BUT we got an official court date today. We will see him in court January 26th 2022. Today is 1/26/2022 - Court was cancelled DUE TO COVID (ironic isn't it?) 4/13/2023 TWENTY TWENTY THREE- we've been to multiple court dates and John's tactics have works, we're exhausted new parents and we can't do it anymore ‍ anyways, a word of caution, stay away. We've spoken to SEVERAL other couples who have also had to sue the venue and WON (they got their money back thank goodness)

Let me start by saying that Marx Entertainment provided both DJ services and Photo Booth services…read morefor our wedding. We were very unhappy with the DJ but happy with the Photo Booth set up and staff. My husband and I had DJ Craig for our wedding in September 2023. We had two meetings with him beforehand were we discussed how we would like the night to run. In addition to a list of "must-play" songs (something we were encouraged to complete), we discussed how we would like our table-dash, anniversary dance, alumni photo, and private dance to operate. We also noted on multiple occasions during both calls that we DID NOT want a lot of remixes. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with how DJ Craig managed all of these aspects except for the table dash and private dance. Here is where our issues lie: - Out of our 30 or so must play songs maybe half were played. - As laid out on the Marx Entertainment website we chose a "last song" for the dance floor. DJ Craig played the song we designated as our last song as a way to open the dance floor. - The first 30 minutes were exclusively remixes and bad ones at that. It got to the point where we said something to DJ Craig, and while the music did get better, he still continued to play remixes. Honestly, a Spotify playlist would have been better. - The anniversary dance was something DJ Craig suggested and we loved the idea. However, instead of doing what he had described to us where he starts calling people off the dance floor after some dancing and starting with short time increments, DJ Craig called for anyone married for less than 5 years to leave the dance floor after approximately 20 seconds. People hadn't even REACHED the dance floor to start dancing at that point, including the parents of the groom. Not to mention we are a young couple and that kicked more than half of the people off the dance floor in one sweep. - College alumni photo was announced at a very weird time and very rushed. Just felt awkward - We were immediately asked once the lights turned on to provide a positive video review for DJ Craig. This was extremely uncomfortable and we gave dishonest feedback during it. We would NOT recommend him. Like I said previously, the Photo Booth staff was excellent and we loved the book they made us. We also had no issues with booking or prior communication with Marx. While the set up and logistical execution of the event went well we didn't feel our opinions were considered at all in song selection and that the fun mini-events we had throughout the night went poorly
