3.5 stars but ranking up. This is a cute spot to meet up with friends for drinks. The cocktail specials are really fun and have a ton of variety. The interior and exterior patio are super cute. Staff is nice but extremely slow. It took well over 3 hours from drinks to meals and dessert. Food is decent but not anything I'd call memorable. Just a nice place for drinks and bites. Wish service was not as slow otherwise I would choose this as my go to happy hour spot. Plan to be here a long time!

Always a good meal here! Love the meatballs, salads and short rib entree. Went last week and got the scallop and risotto special. Delicious! Save room for the Nutella mousse! It is heavenly Service is always solid and on point. This place is a favorite, especially when the weather gets nice and the patio opens. I miss the couches out there, though!

Par took in the happy hour menu for my first visit here. Sat in the bar area, along the wall, on the nice comfy, couch lined booth. The tables are very small, don't order too much too fast. They are also very close to your neighbor. I had the charcuterie board, salmon tacos, chicken tacos, buffalo wings, and the tuna wontons. I suggest on skipping the charcuterie board. The meats were very tough and chewy. I was hoping for more than just two tuna wontons, but they were very tasty. The horse radish wasn't overpowering at all, and the tuna was very tender. The buffalo wings were extremely satisfying. They were large drums and flats, not the little baby ones you get at some places. The creamy blue cheese dip was a good quality. This and the tacos were the highlights of this visit. While the tacos could have been a little fuller, with the rest of the food that we had they were filling. We also had sangria, the blueberry lemonade and a rose. All were okay. This Rose wasn't sweet, it was more like a Pinot Grigio. The service was efficient, Pleasant, and I look forward to coming back to try the rest of the happy hour menu, along with their main menu.

First timer here with friends and we enjoyed it. Went on St Pattys Day except it was pretty quiet in there for St Pattys Day. Loved the atmosphere in there. The food was great! Grilled avocado was delicious. Never had grilled avocado. It's always has been cold and it was pretty tasty! Nothing special but it was good. My short ribs .. very tender and great in flavor! It was recommended by one of my Yelpie friends and then I couldn't make up My mind right before ordering but the eso also suggested it snd im glad I chose it. My friends fish and chip were good , she said but the Fries weren't crispy at all. Our waitress was pretty awesome! She always came and checked in with us. We ended the night with sharing the Nutella mousse, it was nice and light . The outsides set up Looks cute and spacious. Can't wait until It opens up for the season !

My friend and I wanted to try out a new spot so we decided to check out Bin228 since the menu looked appealing. We went on a Friday night and sat on the outside patio which was cute and had nice lighting. Our waitress was very nice, answered all of our questions. The food was very average. We both ordered drinks off the seasonal cocktail menu. I ordered a pumpkin manhattan which said it was supposed to have a large ice cube which is typical for this type of drink. Unfortunately it came out with regular ice cubes and started to get watery quickly. The waitress was able to get the ice swapped out with a large ice cube. We ordered 2 appetizers, the crab cake and the tater tot poutine. The crab cake tasted like a frozen fish stick and the poutine was unseasoned and had half a piece of bacon. Both were extremely underwhelming so we decided to go somewhere else for the entree. I can't say that I would recommend Bin228.

Great food and great people! Anything you order will be good! Juan is a great chef! Order the Curry! Say hi to June!

I went back for the french onion soup as I said I would and it did not disappoint! My friend got the corn chowder which she had last time. The soup here just hits the spot! This time I got to try a new seasonal cocktail and I really enjoyed my bourbon smash! My friend and the entire table next to us all ordered the harvest marg, they all seemed to like it. I love their seasonal cocktail lists, it makes you want to come back at least every season to try something new! Paninis were good, I'd come here for lunch and get either of these. But, the fries were so crunchy that I couldn't enjoy them. Maybe I was just thrown off because they looked like McDonald's fries LOL! My friend and I enjoy sitting at their partial booths because it's so cozy. Our waitress, Trinity, is always so kind and attentive. I will obviously be back!

Great salad! We tried out a new spot in Glastonbury and it was a hit! The ambiance was so modern and rustic, it had bench seating with big fluffy pillows, so comforting and relaxing. I had the Pear & Gorgonzola Salad which was mixed greens, slivered almonds, honey vinaigrette (gf). I subbed the Gorgonzola for Goat Cheese and it was a great choice! The service was supreme, the waitress was helpful and knowledgeable about all the menu items giving great recommendations. Overall a 10/10 def would return, I have to try that meatloaf!

The restaurant is in a sleepy little corner of Glastonbury in a tiny strip mall. The inside is decorated well and it's a very pretty space. The single waitress was handling the entire place herself. She got me seated after a short wait. She was very polite and helpful, offered recommendations and was always available but was very busy. Opted for linguini in vodka sauce with meatballs, and the crème brûlée. Food came out after a short wait. Took pics and dug in The pasta was not boiled in salty water. Pasta consistency was slick and firm but not crunchy. Either overworked fresh pasta or dried, I'm not sure which. The vodka sauce was one note, lacking any depth. It was a creamy tomato sauce and really needed seasoning to punch up the flavors. The meatball was dense, lacked any seasoning or flavor. They were cooked and warm, just not much going on beyond ground beef. The Marinara was actually really good. Balanced, sweet but not overly acidic. The quality showed in that sauce. The crème brûlée was very good. Little bit boozy due the gran mariner on top with the caramelized sugar. Creamy and light on the vanilla but the perfect consistency. The best bite of the bites. The garlic knots and cappuccino were okay. Nothing fancy there, but functional and good enough. The server showed concern when I didn't eat much of my entree. She offered replacements, which I declined. The hospitality was great even with her being as busy as she was. Price was high, coming out to around 45 bucks for the pasta and meatballs, cappuccino, and dessert. It was a lunch on a Monday, so not expecting the best. But the price was a bit much for the quality provided. I can see glimmers of greatness here. The server and the dessert were great, but their entrees leave a bit to be desired. As an Italian restaurant, it has the perfect ambiance and service expected for an elevated experience in that area. The foods a bit lacking, but if you go for the location and the service then you'll do just fine.

We just tried it for dinner. The restaurant is small. Just 3 booths & about 4-5 tables. They don't take reservations, which wasn't an issue when we went on a Sunday evening. For both lunch & dinner, you get delicious garlicky rolls. We tried the burrata/fig appetizer- so good with the fig jam & balsamic vinegar glaze. Tortellini carbonara was very good as was the special of sole franchise. The servings are large and we took leftovers home. I had an expresso martini with Baileys- good & very frothy. They do have lunch portions until 3:00. At lunch, our friend had the pizza which looked very good & crispy. I had the eggplant parmigiana (took half home). So good! Service was so nice & attentive. I believe they also do takeout. Glad we found Amicis.

Choices were limited to 'small and large plates', there was no appetizer section. We were asked "sparkling bottled ($$) or tap water?". We chose tap. Server brought an old-style quart-size milk bottle and small juice-size glasses. The water had no ice, so I assumed water was cold, it wasn't. I ordered a 'breakfast' stout, my wife coffee. Stout was served in a wine glass, not a traditional pint glass. Wife said coffee wasn't that hot. When they brought our beverages, wife asked for a napkin since none were on the table. Like most civilized countries, I like to put a napkin in my lap when I sit down in a restaurant. Apparently you need to ask for one here. Young server muttered something about place settings are brought when food is delivered. I guess an ale and coffee aren't napkin worthy. Not sure what they accomplish with this goofy policy. It looks more like some kind of cost cutting measure. We made reservations a week earlier, wanted us to confirm a second time through text the same morning. It led me to think this must be a popular place with people clamouring to get in. Once there, place wasn't bust at all, no waiting customers and a sea of unoccupied tables. Our guest arrived after we ordered our beverages. After a few minutes, I ended up flagging down a server to get her a drink. Another sign we were stuck with a 2nd or 3rd-string staff. Our aunt ordered a specialty drink from their menu; "champagne in a laundry basket", (looked more like laundry water in a wash tub). After taking our orders, paper menus were collected to be reused. Maybe they were saving money on copy paper. I kinda' wish she left one in case we wanted desserts or something later. They were keeping the table clear of literally everything. I ordered a humus plate for use as an appetizer, something to share and couldn't be screwed up while waiting for our main course. When entrees showed up, we all chose 'smoked sausage eggs-benedict', extra servers were in tow with plates, napkins and silverware, napkin place settings given after all plates were on the table. My wife was seated across from me, sitting next to her Aunt Nan. The first plate was placed in front of me. Even being the neanderthal caveman I am, I knew this was the most basic etiquette faux pas (I felt humiliated j/k). Ladies are ALWAYS served first, another red flag from an inexperienced staff. The 'smoked sausage' Eggs Benedict failed on many levels. It wasn't hot, poached eggs were both over and under-cooked- egg whites had chunky white snot, yolks were not runny. The 'smoked sausage', was kielbasa logs cut in half lengthwise, they were overcooked and impossible to cut without flattening and mutilating egg and muffin. They could be used as wheel chocks, I had to deconstruct it so sausage could be wrestled with on the side. Wife said the 'homemade' English muffin had the tap water taste like what we were served 'for free'. I couldn't help but envision a garden hose filling a mop bucket used for filling the milk bottles. The Hollandaise sauce lacked silky richness and flavor, I've had better with McCormick packets. Benedict was overpowered with the taste of the smoked sausage. This meal was our aunt's special treat for our birthdays. They did not finish their meals, leaving mostly the pieces of the hockey puck-hard sausage. Server had been touting the pastry chef for the home-made English muffins. They were not any better than Thomas's English muffins. I am a plate-cleaner by habit, I've even been called human garbage disposal, so I managed to clear this one, (except for the egg snot, it would've taken a straw to finish it). My wife always has leftovers I happily dispose of quietly, not this time, gave it a hard pass. I felt unfulfilled, I was food frustrated, so I ordered some bacon cheese scones and shared them with the table. They turned out to be the best thing we had, warm Bisquick quality with a good taste of bacon and cheese almost as addicting as Red Lobster cheddar biscuits. We consumed them like a pack of hungry wolves. I asked and was told they don't serve them with butter. These begged for butter. IMO, butter should already be on the table. My wife picked this venue for our birthday treat meal with our beloved Aunt Nan from MA treating us. I apologized to her for our disappointing choice. She said she was glad I said it, she didn't want to say anything to make us feel bad. With tip, the bill for 3 was $171.00. We could have had a better meal and service at an IHOP for a quarter of the cost, I know I would have felt more satisfied. This experience made onto my list of top 5 worst eating experiences.

They used to have "simply prepared" on the menu that was just the fish, with seasonings and complementary sides. That's gone from the menu. It was always perfectly prepared and complimentary to whatever fish you were having. Last night, that changed for me. I have noticed over my last few visits a change in the restaurant. At first, I thought it was just my tastes changing, but last night proved me wrong. I had the "North Atlantic Swordfish Saltimbooca". The description was "Proccuitto, mozzaella cheese, sage mascarpone, white polenta". Polenta is usually soft, with the fish on top. This was polenta soup, with the fish literally swimming in it. In addition, it was greasy. There was a lot of oil around the side. And on top of that, the mozzarella formed a rather nasty hard cheese coating on the fish that I removed to the side with my fork. It was one of the most unappetizing things I've had in a long time. The swordfish was completely lost; no flavor at all. After a few bites, I gave up on it. I also noticed that drinks have gotten smaller. I ordered a martini. It used to be quite generous (it is a $16 drink after all). The glass last night was much smaller, at the same price. The wine was good, but that was about it. VERY DISAPPOINTING. I should have gone with the Fish and Chips! Hard to mess that up.
