Went for happy hour or as they call it monkey hour and it was awesome! food was delish and came quick, drinks were great. Only thing is being seated at a high top near the bar it can feel crowded/cramped with folks at the bar, people walking back and forth etc. and it can get loud if there's loud music. But such a fun place and definitely will be coming back

This was my first time here. The place is covered in monkey decorum which I absolutely love and if you have any monkey lovers in your life, bring them there. You can purchase monkeys at the door. The bathroom even has monkey themed wallpaper. Now to the food. The food was delicious. My daughter and I ordered a few of odds and ends. We ordered the Delta Donuts, Flying Monkey Wings 8ct Spicy Monkey flavored, Flying Monkey Wings 8ct BBQ, and two B-52 Burritos. We were so stuffed after eating the donuts and most of the wings that we took the burritos home. The burritos do reheat perfectly so they are good the next day. The BBQ flavor was your basic BBQ and the spicy monkey was an interesting flavor. I definitely liked it. The service there was really good. We were seated right away. Our waitress was funny and checked in on us periodically but didn't interrupt us if she noticed we were in depth chatting. We definitely recommend this place and I will be back to try the different flavors of wings and the other interesting items on the menu.

I came here for brunch with some foodie friends and we had a great time. This was my first time coming to this establishment and the restaurant provided great vibes. During are brunch, many of my foodie friends ordered some food and I was able to decide what I wanted. I eat with my eyes and some of my foodie friends ordered the Chicken and Waffles and their famous Chicken Wings. Some of the people who ordered the Chicken and Waffles said the chicken was on the dry side and needed more seasoning. Also, I didn't like how the Waffles looked because they seemed like they were undercooked. So, I know I wasn't ordering that and I was able to try a wing from one of my foodie friends. The Chicken Wings were good but for me, I would like my chicken to be fried hard. I decided to go with the brunch burger that was on menu called the Top Burger. The Top Burger was okay. It wasn't out this world but it had good flavor and it was a decent sized burger. The customer service was great and staff were friendly, attentive, and helpful.

What a great place for brunch. While dining out with other Yelpers is always a great experience, this place definitely worth the visit. With its incredible food dishes and tasty cocktails, whether dining at the bar or with friends, you will definitely enjoy your experience. The server we had was super busy and was still on top of things with such a positive attitude. I love the cabin, rustic vibe and with it being winter in New England, it's a great to feel cozy in with a tasty cocktail and one of their very delicious items in the menu.

Recently went back after so many years to cela birthday . It was a Friday and it was packed. Going in circles trying to find to find parking and waiting for our table in which we had reservations for. They did have a live band on Friday which was cool but it's very busy in there so you might be able to hear some of it . Our server was wonderful..very good. Once we put in our order our food took almost an hour! Took long. We were so hungry! But everyone seem To love what they had ordered. My salad, carne asada was spicy for my taste. I think it was the pico de gallo sauce. If you don't like spicy just check about the sauce or have it on the side. Also very very few GF options. Overall it's a great place to celebrate but not a quiet ambiance. More of a chill and hang out and eat Not great for food allergies. But overall . My family had no left overs which was a good sign.

God we love this place. Wella carne fritas are excellent. Wanted a pistachio martini and the server was on point. Never a fail coming to this place. Owner is down to earth and humble!

We had the best meal sitting outside in a beautiful night. Tatiana took great care of us and we all enjoyed our meal. The highlights were the bourbon honey salmon and scallop Cobb salad . They even let us bring g our own birthday cake with no plating charge . I can't forget to share the bourbon drink which everyone loved. It is not an inexpensive meal but when food service and ambiance are all perfect it was worth the price,

I stopped in for happy hour appetizers last evening. Luckily, Cathy, the best bartender on the planet, took great pains to keep me happy! The live band was absolutely phenomenal. Their music set got me moving on my barstool. I was totally dancing along! I tipped the band when I left. What a great night I had!

This place looks amazing and the vibe and decor is nice. Not sure what was going on in the kitchen but the fact that a table of 4 had to wait an hour and a half for a meal is beyond belief. No apologies or explanations at all. The food on my plate arrived cold and the order was also taken incorrectly. Nothing was offered to meditate or correct the situation, and when brought up to the manager who I believe is named Joshua he seemed to have not cared at all and in a sarcastic unbothered tone gave a blank answer as well. MEDIOCRE SERVICE AND FOOD AT ITS WORST. BTW what server is told 2 extra eggs on the side and says okay, and brings you the two already included poached eggs on the side cold instead and soggy wet spinach that doused a muffin. LITERALLY THE MOST PRICEY WASTE OF TIME.

Attended a brunch with some Foodies and it was worth the drive to this part of Connecticut. I tried some festive drinks for the season including the O'Christmas tree margarita with coconut crème, the stroke of midnight (tasted like a rainbow cookie), The Grinchtini (too minty for me), Drunken Monkey rum punch (very tropical), Asian pear martini with elderflower, and S'mores takeoff (flavorful with vanilla chocolate hazelnut espresso). From my photos you can see presentation was on point. For appetizer I had juicy tasty flying monkey wings with spicy sauce, it came with crispy fried jalapeños. Even though the portion was small for entree, I'm happy I chose the tasty fuel for your flight; medium NY strip steak topped with yummy chimichurri sauce with poached eggs and home fries. I traded a bite with my man's waffle and fries entree, I thought the breast piece I tried was a bit dry; also his carne frita appetizer. I don't eat too much pork so a bite was enough for me, it had a lot of flavor and went well with the tostones. For desert I ordered a delicious banana fosters shortcake to split; butter cake with bananas flamed (like a brûlée) with rum and brown sugar, topped with pecans and whipped cream. I don't revisit too many places because I like to try new spots, but I'll come back for this desert and to try more food items and drinks. We were a large crowd of 30+ and the server was on point. I calculated my bill and when it came, it was exactly as that. No errors, I appreciate how smooth this was. This is a very well rounded spot, the ambiance, the service, the food and drinks presentation and taste. What a wonderful experience. Thank you!

What has changed during COVID-19 time with their bottomless brunch on Sunday?

Do they take reservations for Sunday brunch?

I'm sorry, I do not know that answer.

Is this location closing or will the Berlin turnpike be a second location ? Thanks

It's a new location and it's on the Berlin turnpike! ☺️

    Is this place kid friendly?

Yes - I think so, more in the outside patio than in the bar, pending on your parental preferences and age of kid.

Don't let the outside of this place fool you because looks are definitely deceiving. We were cautious coming to this place due to the appearance of the outside, but once we were in it was so much fun. Agus, aka rawbartender, was Ah-mazing and truly made the night fun. He was truly such a vibe!! I ordered the SpongeBob, which was Goslings rum, pineapple spice, ginger, lime, angostura bitters. Especially with the show that was put on, my drink tasted even better. It was a Smokey, yet smooth and refreshing drink! We also got the Snow White, on the sweeter side made with Pear vodka, orgeat, pear juice, lemon juice, cinnamon. And of course, we can't forget our schooling in tequila and Mezcal from Agus. He was very informative of what he was serving and we tried a few different shots. He gave us the rundown of how you're actually supposed to taste tequila. And I have to say I've never had an experience like that before. I wish the party didn't stop and I will definitely be coming back specifically for Agus and of course the drinks!

Our waitress was absolutely amazing. She was kind, attentive, and whenever something was forgotten, she immediately went to speak with the kitchen and tried to make it right. They ended up sending their pasta back to be reheated, which also took a while. Our drinks were forgotten at one point as well, and our to go dessert sat waiting for a long time before anyone brought it over. Drinks stayed filled, and the waiter came by to make sure we didn't want any refills on any alcoholic beverages as they were being consumed. He recommended a few appetizers for the table. After I heard the specials, I went with the short rib gnocchi, but the salmon with spaghetti squash was a close second. I wasn't disappointed in my dish. It was a really good size and I ended up taking half of it back with me, something tells me it's gonna be even better the next day as most Italian food is. My one regret is that I didn't order the lemon cheesecake to go. All of the desserts sounded amazing, especially the hazelnut tart, however, the lemon cheesecake is super cute and I heard from other people that have been to this restaurant before that it is delicious. Maybe next time!
