I was invited to Kbarr through Yelp for their Community Night Out-Opening for renovation over drinks and apps! Kbarr is an intimate lounge with a small bites menu and cocktail list. They have an outdoor patio with large bar. There is parking available in the front, but just a few spaces. There were a couple handicap spaces available. There's also a small lot in the back of the establishment. There isnt a sign up yet but i knew where it was because i had been there previously. I walked in and was immediately greeted. For the evening, we had our option of a Rum Punch, Margarita or a Lemon Drop. I was so tempted to get the Lemon Drop but I chose a Rum Punch. It really packed a Punch lol. The drink was strong and delicious! The bartender was polite and very knowledgeable. Lanasha introduced us to Kevin(the owner). Kevin told us about the history of K Barr. He and his partner Kevin, opened Kbarr in 2019 during the pandemic. They shut down 2020 but reopened reinventing the space. They decided to relaunch as a lounge. They do live music, comedy shows and will soon be adding breakfast. They are known for their innovative drinks and wings. He expressed how hard they work to source locally and interact with the community. Kevin seemed very cool and down to earth. The space is very nice and I'm excited to hear about future events. The food was great. I missed the 1st 2 rounds, so by the time I was able to get food it was time for the games. The pasta salad was really good. You could tell it was made with fresh produce. The wings were real wings lol. Not the mini pigeon wings other restaurants serve. I can't remember the safe I loved but I know it had sesame seeds. I wasn't found of the empanadas, but I did enjoy the beef more than the chicken. Lots of people ordered food to go, we were so impressed. Lanasha played games that I really enjoyed. I also participated in the confessional which was neat. The music was the bomb also! What a great vibe, I had a great time. I had a blast and look forward to going back for other events.

Enjoyed coming here for a yelp event. The vibe was very laid back and intimate. Comfortable couches and lounge area. They also have a cute deck area with an outside bar. Not to mention they have two bars inside the restaurant. The food came out quickly and was gone as quick as it came out. The owner kept supplying us with more food. Bartenders and staff here were friendly. I enjoyed the beef empanadas, chicken wings and pasta salad. Definitely would recommend this place if in the area.

Lemon drop martini. Perfect. Just need sugar on the rim. I could have drank 4 of these if I wasn't driving!!

This is the second time I have been here and the food has been really great. I came for a vegan ice cream tasting hosted by David and it was a nice time. Great ambiance. Nice grown and sexy crowd. I had the fried whitings and fried and garlic parm wings. Today I came for a poetry night and had the fish tacos and truffle fries. Had a lemon drop martini. All delicious.

My family all came together to celebrate my cousin Raushanah 43rd birthday. The KBARR didn't fall short with their food and drinks. It was my first time at the KBARR. We started with cocktails and my sister and I chose the specialty drink called "The Death Row". My sister and I decided to share the catfish dish with fries. The catfish was large so it was perfect for my sister and I to share. It was fried perfectly soft. They had a small menu which was simple but very good choices. I plan to return for their happy hour. I seen several people eating the fish tacos and salmon bites. When your in Hartford, CT please visit KBARR. To my yelpers let's continue to eat our way through out the world. #Foodie4life

Nice little new place. The restaurant/bar is really clean and also newly renovated. Even though it is really nice it is also small with limited seating. They have nice televisions and also a area where you can utilize a jukebox and play music. The food however was not the greatest. I ordered lemon pepper w and garlic parmesan wings along with truffle fries. I also ordered a strawberry lemonade and it was horrible/very tart. I also ordered a Shirley Temple and they didn't have sprite. The only reason why I would give this place three starts is because they have potential to grow. It is still a new place and developing. The customer service was amazing though. The staff was very attentive and nice.

We were seated at a booth, but quickly moved to the bar where the bartender made our concoctions, chatted with us, and talked about the old distillery that was before the parlor. I got the Smoke Break; mezcal, wild moon sumac, apricot, amaro del capo, lime and absinthe. It was very good, very smoky, but the perfect balance. And of course, the birthday is not complete without shots! We ended up taking the sour cherry vodka, which is one of my favorites We were unable to get food as the kitchen was closed, but we will have to try next time

The aesthetic is still gorgeous, the vibe is still immaculate, and the space feels both cozy and fun. They even have games tucked away so you can hang out longer, which makes it feel like more than just a bar or restaurant. This time I came for dinner and ordered the steak, which was perfectly tender, juicy, and full of flavor. I also tried the lamb (not usually my thing), but my friend who loves lamb absolutely cleared her plate. So that tells you everything you need to know. Even without having a cocktail this time (I just had water), the experience was still great, which says a lot about the atmosphere and service. We also did this fun blindfolded dessert experience where you're blindfolded and try to guess what you're eating. Its super unique and actually really good. I wish they gave us a little card explaining it, but it was still such a cool touch. Between the food, the ambiance, the creative touches, and the overall vibe, this place just keeps delivering. Whether you're going for brunch, dinner, drinks, or a fun night out, this spot is absolutely worth it. I'll definitely keep coming back.

Don't let the outside of this place fool you because looks are definitely deceiving. We were cautious coming to this place due to the appearance of the outside, but once we were in it was so much fun. Agus, aka rawbartender, was Ah-mazing and truly made the night fun. He was truly such a vibe!! I ordered the SpongeBob, which was Goslings rum, pineapple spice, ginger, lime, angostura bitters. Especially with the show that was put on, my drink tasted even better. It was a Smokey, yet smooth and refreshing drink! We also got the Snow White, on the sweeter side made with Pear vodka, orgeat, pear juice, lemon juice, cinnamon. And of course, we can't forget our schooling in tequila and Mezcal from Agus. He was very informative of what he was serving and we tried a few different shots. He gave us the rundown of how you're actually supposed to taste tequila. And I have to say I've never had an experience like that before. I wish the party didn't stop and I will definitely be coming back specifically for Agus and of course the drinks!

The historic…read moremansion was recently (beautifully!) renovated to create a cozy bar, various dining spaces, and fireplace lounge seating tucked throughout the rambling first floor rooms, plus elegant sleeping quarters located on the upper floors. We enjoyed dinner before an event, then returned afterward for late-evening cocktails next to the fireplace, and we can attest that there is no other space that feels like Dulu in the entire Lenox/Stockbridge/Lee area! The vibe is classic yet modern, intimate, but also a little bit edgy, with a funky eclectic decor and quiet club music playing in the background - a perfect mix of Berkshires elegance plus contemporary urban sophistication! We shared several items for dinner, and felt that all were well-executed and very enjoyable - including an excellent spice-rubbed shrimp appetizer with fresh green s'chug for dipping, a bright shaved Brussels & manchego salad (which would have benefitted from just a pinch more salt), a perfectly-prepared thick hunk of salmon with crispy skin & bitter greens, and an interesting squash gnocchi with sausage and rosemary (which would have benefitted from a final light splash of acid - perhaps a squeeze of lemon or a few drops of champagne vinegar). Cocktails and wine pairings were EXCELLENT - this bar staff really knows what they're doing! Service was kind and efficient, and we were truly made to feel welcome. Prices are definitely at the higher end, but we felt that the quality of the food and beverages we enjoyed, plus the INCREDIBLE Dulu atmosphere, more than justify the cost. Thank you, Dulu - we will definitely be back!

He served up multiple mocktails and cocktails with aplomb and even pulled off a ginger and lychee combination that shouldn't have worked but was delish. Almost everything else missed the mark. Staff should know to de-vein shrimp before sending out skewers. They should also know what "black and blue" means if they're serving steak. Another table ordered it and five staff members huddled around a phone at the bar to look it up like they were searching for Pokémon. The orecchiette had perfect texture, but truffle oil made half the plate inedible. The Persian crispy rice, the dish I was most looking forward to, was a complete let down. The rice was well cooked, but the eggplant filling was nearly flavorless and the meager amount of smoked tomato couldn't save it. The roasted mushroom board was good though we improved it ourselves by spreading leftover s'chug from the shrimp skewers onto the bread and layering the mushrooms on top. It also had truffle for some reason. Why? Dulu has the right ingredients to be top tier. This just wasn't their night. The bartender rescued the evening. Give that man a raise.
