People have spoken about Beamhouse for years. It's a gorgeous space, with high ceilings, woods, bricks and exposed fixtures. Service was very friendly and enthusiastic, although a long time passed before I saw food delivered to any of the tables in our general area. Not sure if they were having issues in the kitchen or what. My wife and I ordered two entrees, and a side of Seacoast Mushrooms Hen of the Woods mushrooms. I ordered the Confit Chicken with gnocchi and "dumpling gravy". My wife ordered the Faroe Island Salmon with Sweet Potato Grits. I tried all of this. The plating was strong. The best parts of the meals were the vegetables. The Seacoast Mushrooms, which is one of my fav CT food vendors, side was amazing. Must order if you're a mushroom fan. The squash, etc. served with my chicken dish was fresh, local-seeming, and well cooked too. The gnocchi texture was a bit too soft. The chicken had good texture and was well cooked. It needed more seasoning and flavor. The salmon was also well cooked. I didn't love the sweet potato grits. They had too much of a fresh pepper type flavor for me. We also got the miso brownie to go. Very rich and tasty. I would definitely return and try other things. 4 Stars

We swung by The Beamhouse for Sunday brunch, curious and a bit hungry. We made reservations just in case -- but turns out, the crowd was mellow, and there was no need to flash our "we planned ahead" badge at the host stand. The place has a modern industrial farmhouse look -- think high ceilings, lots of wood, big windows overlooking a scenic pool and stream, and a bar that looks ready to solve your deepest problems. There's outdoor seating too, for when the weather plays nice. Parking is plentiful. The staff was professional and seemed genuinely happy to be there. That said, service was a bit slow -- our drink order took a solid 15 minutes to be taken. Likely a staffing issue, not a lack of hustle. Still, we didn't mind lingering with a view. The Food (A.K.A. The Hallelujah Moment): Let's get right to it -- this kitchen knows what it's doing. Everything we ordered was so good it nearly had us speaking in tongues. -The French Toast was the star of the show. A golden brioche stack, doused in real maple syrup and whipped cream, then dusted with crunchy sugar like it was kissed by a donut. It looked like brunch art, and tasted even better. A 10/10 breakfast sermon. -I went savory with the Cast Iron Ham & Eggs -- sweet potatoes, diced ham, and fried eggs with a punchy hollandaise, all served sizzling in a mini skillet. It was hearty, flavorful, and deeply satisfying. -We added on the Buttermilk Biscuit with Red Pepper Jam -- a curious combo that worked. The biscuit leaned a bit dry, and I personally would've liked more butter and grease, but at $5, it's a tasty gamble. -The Cinnamon Roll was big enough to double as a paperweight. Covered in cream cheese icing, it looked promising, but the edges were too crispy, bordering on stale. Not a total miss, just not the pillowy dough cloud I was hoping for. The Not-So-Sweet Bits: -The acoustics in the main dining area are... boisterous. Between the high ceilings and tightly packed tables, don't expect any quiet confessions over coffee. -Tables are close enough to make friends with your neighbors -- whether you want to or not. -Ours was wobbly enough to make soup risky. One of life's eternally frustrating restaurant mysteries. Despite the few hiccups, I'm a fan of The Beamhouse. It's the kind of place where the food wins you over -- and then some. Next visit, I've got my eyes (and stomach) set on the pizza, especially after spotting that massive oven on the way in.

I went to the beamhouse for the first time for Sunday brunch with three of my friends. It was a little difficult to find the restaurant it's tucked away in a large building however it looks like a beautiful restaurant. I went in January however there is a large outdoor area that looks beautiful for warm weather. The menu looked good as well however, the biggest disappointment was the lack of vegetarian items. Unfortunately items that look vegetarian on the menu or not. The waitress was very informed and was able to answer our questions. Three of us got veggie burgers, and one of us got eggs in purgatory. Unfortunately, the only item that is actually vegetarian is the veggie burger. When we asked about the eggs in purgatory, we were told that it has anchovies in it. We saw people with the French toast that looked delicious. They were cubes. We plan to order this to share for the table however, we were told that everything that is fried is deep fried in beef fat. We did get the cinnamon roll to share and unfortunately was underwhelming. Everyone enjoyed the veggie burger and the eggs and purgatory. The atmosphere was beautiful. The service was great. The only thing I would change is to have more vegetarian options. We also enjoyed the cocktails. I would highly recommend this place for brunch..

Went here for happy hour on a Saturday which runs every day from 3:30-5:30. Really beautifully renovated space that's part of an apartment building. The crowd was definitely a reflection of Glastonbury. A little older, not very diverse. That's not up to the restaurant, but it did feel a little cliquey honestly. Bar service was a bit slow. Felt more like they expected you to flag them down and ask them for things rather than having them check on you occasionally even when it wasn't that busy. Seemed to be a lot of chatting with the regulars. Nice tap list and my old fashioned ways good. Food was great! The Happy Hour smash burger was delicious and juicy. Nashville chicken bites were a little under seasoned, but the batter was super light and crispy and the chicken was well cooked. The pepperoni pizza was amazing! The dough was deliciously chewy and fluffy and the sauce was really fresh with nice acidity that cut through the richness of the pepperoni. Bit of a longer walk to get inside, but there are ramps available wherever there are stairs so it's accessible. Overall had a nice time, but probably not the right vibe for us for it to become a regular spot.

This is my favorite restaurant in Gbury, and there are a few excellent restaurants to choose from. To me, it starts with the look of the restaurant. The Beamhouse has high ceilings creating an open feeling and uses a great combination of wood and concrete to create a comfortable but "farm house" modern look. The service has always been top notch and the food is excellent. I am a huge fan of the happy hour menu as well.

I have been here a few times but this was the first time we came for Sunday brunch. Gotta love a restaurant that has free parking located right outside the restaurant. There was so much to choose from on the brunch menu. Our server was so nice and attentive to our party of five especially since it was a pretty busy day with several other large parties at other tables. Although there were several other groups of 6 or more also there at the same time, it did not feel like we were all piled ip on top of each other. There was plenty of room. We had several popular entrees including the steak and eggs, chicken and biscuit and the smash burger. The group favorites were the cinnamon roll and french toast. Overall we had a great time and cannot wait to come back when the weather is warmer to sit out on the patio.

Parking: busy restaurants but parking is limited on a busy night, no overflow lot which made me have to wait for someone to leave. Staff: very friendly though service was a little slow...I will chalk it up to being busy but I had to go to the bar to get my drink and flagging my waitress was tougher than normal. Decor: very modern and clean. Was very impressed with inside look Food: excellent taste and flavor. The margarita flatbread was excellent though you may want to wait a minute to eat, wicked hot. The short rib and pasta was very tasty too. Price: was about average for Glastonbury. Overall: will 100% be going back and bringing others with me.

This is my first time here. It is located at 917 New London Tpke. In Glastonbury, CT. Per the restaurant: "We are curious minded. craft focused. care obsessed. we're proud to serve you ingredients that are often local, more often from our friends + always the best we can find. because we care about what's on your plate and in your glass. Also, this is a team of passionate people that share a common goal: creating real food and drink in a welcoming environment. from featured farm dinners to natural wine nights in the taproom -- we are constantly finding ways to bring people together through the things we love the most. This place is huge!!! The hallway must 100' long and the ceiling is 30' high. This place was NOT cheap to build. They have Happy Hour from 3:30-5:30 daily. The bartender immediate drops an empty glass in front of me and then fills it in front of me. What a nice touch. For my first drink, I'm having a "simply classic" Old Fashioned. The drink's recipe has evolved over time, but the basic version is made with just four ingredients: Whiskey, sugar, Angostura bitters Optional orange peel or Luxardo cherry garnish. The music is nice and mellow. The drink is perfectly garnished, uses a large, upscale ice cube and tastes just right! For my first item, I'm trying the Nashville Chicken Bites made with hot oil, pickles and Duke's Mayo. This mayo has a smooth, creamy texture and one-of-a-kind flavor made with Eugenia Duke's original recipe since 1917. I've never had this before. They also use quality, ceramic plates and cool napkins. It's not packed, but customers are constantly flowing in. For my next item, I'm having the Cabbage Caesar made with aged parmigiano reggiano and garlic breadcrumbs. A Caesar salad made with cabbage?! That's different. Ok. I've never seen this before! There is a menu beneath the dish for their "Brunch" on Sundays. These are good! Crunchy, tasty and a little spicy. Nice portion size too. If you like the mayo, there is more on the bottom to add on! For my next drink, I'm having a "Chef's Shifty" Negroni. This is a favorite of mine. The Negroni is a strong, bitter, and boozy Italian cocktail made with equal parts gin, sweet vermouth, and Campari. They are making it with "house" gin which does not bother me. I can't taste the difference anyhow. I'm impressed! Again they use a high quality square ice cube. They are getting my attention! It is nicely garnished and tastes just perfect! The Cabbage Caesar has no shortage of cheese! This is quite good. Caesar salad made of cabbage. What a novel idea! This tastes unbelievably good! The bar is now filled! For my next food item, I'm having the Marinated Olives made with castelvetranos, citrus and herbs. These are warm and tasty! I love the herbs they are made with! What an unbelievable taste! Next up, I'm having the Roasted Garlic Hummus made with z'atar and seeded rye crackers. This is good! Crunch crackers and hummus. This is new! It's usually a bread. That's a LOT of crackers! I love it! For my next drink, I'm having the "It's Sunny Somewhere" Daiquiri. The daiquiri is a balanced and refreshing cocktail that's typically made with rum, citrus juice, and sugar. It's considered one of the six basic drinks and can be customized to taste. Origins and variations: American engineer Jennings Stockton Cox is credited with creating the daiquiri in Cuba's Sierra Maestra Mountains. Wow! This is good. I like the dried line wheel garnish! This tastes great! These "snacks" (as they call them) are pretty filling. For my next item, I'm trying the Street Tacos made with corn tortillas, salsa verde and onions. They use a double-layered corn tortilla. They also have a radish garnished and a lime to sprinkle it with. I think it's chicken. These are quite good! For my last item, I'm having the Single Smash Burger made with American cheese, onions, pickles and special sauce. I should not be eating this! Oh well. Definitely needs ketchup. This is one helluva burger! Wow! It's like a grilled cheese and a hamburger combined. For my final drink, I'm having the "Sipping Yummies" made with bacanora, tequila, vermouth and alma tepec. Bacanora is an agave-derived liquor made in the Mexican state of Sonora. Alma Tepec is a chile liqueur, specifically a "Licor de Chile Pasilla Mixe," crafted from smoke-dried Pasilla Mixe chiles grown in the Sierra Mixe mountains of Oaxaca, Mexico, by the indigenous Mixe people. Wow! This is made with yet an other single large square ice cube and huge dried chili pepper. It has a Smokey flavor. Not very spicy or very strong. However, it tastes quite good overall! I'm impressed! What a drink! 6 appetizers doesn't cut it! What's there to eat around here! lol For dessert, I'm having the Olive Oil Cake made with candied pistachios, citrus supreme and cranberries. Look at this masterpiece! OMG does this taste good! You need to try this place! It is an amazing experience!

Looking for a fun and delicious Happy Hour spot, you've come to the right place. First off it all starts at 3:30pm! Love this earlier time. The drinks and food are fantastic! First round was espresso martinis followed by a round of red wine. The smash burger is the star of the show. This is delicious and has so many flavors, also a small detail but the side of pickles, the best! We also had the tacos, yummy but I will say they are priced a tad high for what you get but again very delicious! Rounded out the happy hour with a margarita pizza which was devoured right away. I love the options of where you can sit, not just at bar but also by side room and some standing tables. Staff is fantastic and always friendly and helpful!

I would definitely come back. The food was great, staff was great. I definitely didn't read well enough to realize Caesar was cabbage. It was different for sure but not something I was expecting. Doesn't quite live up to a regular Caesar. French toast (not pictured) was definitely not a small plate! Love the crunch. Very good meal, great atmosphere.

The food is always a winner here. This time, the service was off. Once seated (immediately, with a res on a Tuesday evening), while the hostess asked our water preferences, it took another person and a while to receive them. Then we waited again and our initial server eventually took drink orders. This tender made the best old fashioned I've ever had and I'm a bourbon buff; it was tinged perfectly with the orange bitters, just the right combo of simplest ingredients. We waited again. It was not busy. Kate, who is wonderful and who was not our initial server, checked on us, actually brought us our drinks which I almost walked to the bar to collect myself due to our wait, and Kate then took our food orders. The ricotta starter is superb. The confit chicken tasted like home with its pop mushroom sauce and a sprinkling of perfectly cooked strips of veggies in the center. The chicken almost fell off the bone. My friend's pizza was delicious. The room is a bit loud: high industrial ceilings accounts for this yet some glass room dividers helps buffer it. Outdoor seating open and available off the side of the main dining room bar on a nice patio area. Been to the Beamhouse a few times and always enjoy the experience albeit some service was questionable this time.

But basic hospitality like eye contact, clearing empties, professionalism -- isn't optional. My drink was poorly made and unbalanced, which only added to the frustration. What really crossed the line was hearing staff behind the bar openly speaking negatively about customers -- including people currently seated. That's not just bad service, it's unprofessional. It's unfortunate to see a place I enjoyed decline like this. I hope management steps in.

They all seem to add a bit of class. For my first drink, I'm am having a Cosmopolitan. A Cosmopolitan (or Cosmo) is a popular pink cocktail made with vodka, triple sec (or Cointreau), cranberry juice, and fresh lime juice, typically shaken and served in a martini glass. It's known for its tart, fruity, and slightly sweet flavor profile, often garnished with an orange twist. While served in a martini glass, it's not a true martini as it lacks vermouth. The drink has nice presentation, chilled, garnished and well-balanced. For my first food item, I'm having a Chef's Salad. A chef salad is a hearty American main-course salad with a base of lettuce topped with various ingredients like hard-boiled eggs, one or more meats (such as ham, turkey, or chicken), cheese, tomatoes, and cucumbers, often with croutons and a vinaigrette or ranch dressing. I am having vinaigrette for my dressing. Oh yeah! Nice restating! This is good! I see romaine lettuce, olives, eggs, turkey, ham, canned green and red peppers, pepperoni, cheese, picked onions, cucumbers, etc. It's a big portion size for $7! For my next food item, I'm having the (1/2 lb) Mussels. Mussels are a popular, sustainable, and nutritious seafood known for their briny flavor, often served steamed in broth with wine, garlic, and herbs, and paired with crusty bread. They are filter feeders, rich in protein, omega-3s, and vitamin B12, and are farmed responsibly, making them an environmentally friendly choice that improves water quality. These are good you. They are hot. I like the grilled, buttered bread. Make sure to squeeze the lemon on top. This is the "red" inversion (white is an option). These are good! I love this broth! For my next food item, I'm having the Bogner's Chili Cheese Dog. Bogner Quality Meats in Manchester, CT, offers a selection of premium, house-made hot dogs and franks, featuring all-beef skinless, natural casing, and kielbasa dogs. Known for high-quality meats since 1942, they also offer bulk 5 lb packages, perfect for grilling, along with a full service butcher counter. I only get to eat this kind twice a year! This is all beef and locally made. What's better than this?! This is great!!! Love that pickle and those thick kettle chips! For my second drink, I'm having a margarita. A Margarita is a classic cocktail made with tequila, orange liqueur (like Cointreau or triple sec), and lime juice, often served in a salt-rimmed glass with a lime wedge garnish. It can be served shaken and "on the rocks" (with ice), blended with ice, or straight up, and variations include different tequilas (like reposado) or sweeteners like agave syrup. No margarita glass or sake/sugar rim but it is nicely garnished and tastes good. The floating orange is odd. Still, it's quite good! For my next food item, I'm having the Geno's Meatballs. Gino D'Acampo's traditional meatball recipe features a mix of minced pork and beef, soaked bread, egg, pecorino cheese, and parsley, typically simmered in a simple tomato sauce. For best results, brown the meatballs in olive oil, then simmer slowly for at least 30 minutes to two hours for a rich flavor. I like the cheese strips on top. Lots of sauce! These taste great! For my last drink, I'm having a Vodka Mule. A Moscow Mule is a refreshing, vodka-based cocktail made with lime juice and spicy ginger beer, traditionally served in a copper mug which keeps it extra cold. To make one, combine vodka, fresh lime juice, and ice in a mug, then top with chilled ginger beer and garnish with a lime wedge or wheel. It's a simple, no-shaker-needed drink that's popular for its balance of spicy, sweet, and tart flavors. I like the copper mug! It's chilled, nicely garnished and well balanced. For my last item, I've been dying to try the Special- a bork of Legume Soup. Lentil soup is a hearty, nutritious soup made with lentils as the main ingredient, often featuring a base of sautéed onions, carrots, and garlic, simmered in broth with spices like cumin and turmeric, and finished with fresh herbs and lemon juice. It's a staple in many cultures, known for being filling, economical, and rich in protein and fiber, with variations using different lentils (red, green, brown) and additions like kale, potatoes, or pasta. I like the cute, little crock pot. It's def one of our mother daughter special spots. I'm on a mission to try everything on the menu at least once and I was told the Crispy Chicken cutlet was a crowd favorite and it's safe to say I agree and I could not stop talking about it last night. It's made with two chicken cutlets crisp to perfection giving you that nice crunch with each bite. Inside you've got flavors of peperonata, fresh mozz, smeared pesto aioli , arugula on a thick ciabatta roll. It's a mix of comfort and quality all in one. I really enjoyed the mix of all the vibrant flavors here. Pair it with their sweet potato fries and you got yourself a real deal of a meal! My mom got the Handformed burger cooked medium on a brioche bun . It consists half-pound patty, bacon, white cheddar, lettuce, pepper mayo, She said it was one of the best burgers she's had in a long time and she's a harsh critic so that says a lot. She also enjoys the sweet potatoe fries here as well . Ps every Wednesday is Wine night which is 1/2 price bottle of any wine of your choosing . We showed up not knowing that and we may just make it a Wednesday tradition "Wine down Wednesday" :) Our server Lauren was excellent , it was a packed house and you can def see they have quite a few regulars myself included. It makes you feel like it's the friendly neighborhood restaurant!

We visited Arethusa Farms years ago, and we felt like pioneers discovering gold. I digress. I loved our experience at Le Mazet. The food is scrumptious and although the environ is cozy and has an inviting feel of a warm country cottage, the refined service is on par with the legendary Four Seasons Restaurant in NYC (not to be mistaken for the hotel flag). I made a reservation for our visit and was seated promptly at a beautiful table near the front door. The entire dining area is gorgeous--so much attention to detail. Service throughout our meal was attentive and friendly. I had the boeuf bourguignon and it was so tender and seasoned perfectly. I also had the bread service, featuring sourdough from Small State Provisions--the perfect accompaniment to this hearty stew. We both drank Le Poney Roses, which were balanced and beautiful--a fabulous mocktail that really embodies the spirit of a cocktail. We weren't rushed at all and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I will be back for more!

I'm back! The restaurant is located on 389 Main St. in East Hartford, CT. It's been a few months…read moresince I was last here (December) which is a crime. Carmine's is a fresh from scratch kitchen that is ALWAYS open. Their appetizers, pastas, entrees and desserts combine old-world traditional Italian flavor with a modern flair for presentation, and the freshest ingredients around. Menu staples like rigatoni bolognese, fettuccine carbonara and chicken Milanese are coupled with unique recipes like chicken ala vodka and toasted almond cake. They've staffed the kitchen with a dream team of chefs and you can tell instantly! They also do parties, catering and online ordering/delivery. The restaurant is well known for its live music. There is never a cover and parking is always free. This place and produces absolutely amazing food and drinks. I have noticed quite a few menu changes. The Happy Hour menu has expanded. It's also no longer all day Monday. The main menu no longer has prices on featured drinks (although that's the tre d these days). Note that the Bar Bites menu is available open to close! The Main Menu looks the same although there is a new Wine List (that's a first here). The music is very pleasant and the right volume level. It's always a big cool in here too. For my first drink, I'm having a Pratt N Whiskey. This is made with Woodford Reserve Bourbon, sweet vermouth, red wine and sour mix. It's definitely an unusual drink. It's not garnished, but it tastes great. The wine sticks out for sure. It's clearly a shaken drink not often found with a whiskey component except for maybe Whiskey Sours. For my first item, I'm having the House Salad made with spring mix, basil, tomatoes, julienned (thinly sliced) carrots, cucumbers and house red wine vinaigrette dressing. This is a big portion! I love this dressing! This tastes great! For my next item, I'm trying the Carmine's Secret Tenderloins. These are off of Carmine's "Secret Menu." They are pan seared, caramelized chicken tenderloins, made with wine, olive oil, cracked black pepper (dried black peppercorns broken into coarse, uneven pieces), kosher salt (a coarse, flaky salt named for its use in the Jewish koshering process of drawing blood from meat), shredded Parmesan and a very special "secret sauce." I'm curious as to what this sauce tastes like. Wow! Nice presentation! These are good! I love that sauce! There's a good crowd in here (20 people). Only one worker (bartender and server). She's damn good at what she does! For my next drink, I'm having a Connecticut Cosmo. This is made with Litchfield Vodka, Wild Moon Cranberry, Triple Sec and lime juice. This vodka is the Gold Medal Winner 2018 & 2019 at the New York International Spirits Competition. Silver Medal Winner at the 2017 San Francisco World Spirits Competition! Our Gluten-Free Batchers' Vodka is distilled from luscious corn grown during the beautiful summer months in Somers, CT. We distill 4 ¾ times and use a gravity-fed charcoal filter that takes 12 hours to filter 100 gallons. The longer the vodka sits on the charcoal, the more impurities are removed, which creates an incredibly smooth taste. Bottled at 80 proof. It is impeccably clean, slightly sweet, velvety smooth mouthfeel and sweet buttery overtones. It's smooth with a warm finish with subtle notes of sweet ripe corn at the end. I actually sat down next to the owner of the Distillery at a wine pairing dinner at Flemings in West Hartford about 7-8 years ago. This looks nice! Wow! This has great flavor! For my next item, I'm having the Rigatoni Matinara. Rigatoni is a large, tube-shaped pasta with ridges on the outside and straight-cut ends. Marinara sauce is a tomato sauce usually made with tomatoes, garlic, herbs, and onions. I don't eat pasta all that often. This will serve as my appetizer before I hit the main course. This is a BIG portion! It is very good! For my entree I'm having the Pan Seared Salmon which is "hand cut" salmon with zesty orange glaze served over mashed potatoes with seasonal vegetables (broccoli). Add LOTS of crushed red pepper. Nod that's "LOTS." This is spicy! My kinda spicy! The plate is nice and hot! I like the presentation. This tastes great! What a great meal here!

I can't believe we were charged for bread - twice! We got a small half of a loaf (not even as big…read moreas a half grinder roll) and asked for more. Never have I ever paid for bread in a restaurant and we were asked if we wanted bread - no mention of we had to pay extra for it. Side salads are an extra charge too. If you get a chicken meal expect it to have a very charred taste to it. We found the food to be middle of the road and not very big portions considering we usually take food home from other places. There was a birthday party going on in the restaurant, not in a separate room. Not that it bothered us, but it was extremely loud in there and it seemed to bother the table next to us. Don't expect a quiet dinner in this place. Getting the attention of the waitress was impossible. I had to stand at the bar and wait to pay our bill. The party had the entrance blocked because they were filming and we had to exit through a side entrance, which didn't bother us, but not the best from a safety point of view. Do we recommend the place - no. Will we go back - no.

We went to this place for Mother's Day brunch, and it was one of the worst experiences I could have…read moreimagined. First off, the ambience of the place is fairly nice though you would not know it from how many of the other patrons choose to attire themselves. If you're looking for a upscale, dining experience, other patrons would suggest this is not the place for you. They started off by attending to put us at the wrong table per our reservation. The table was apparently filled, and they moved us to a different table, which was perfectly fine as it was a nice booth with a window right next to the table. They then gave us several menus from which to choose, which was confusing as there were so many different menus with similar food options, including brunch, menu, a burger, menu, a dinner menu, a Mother's Day, special menu, and the regular menu. There were also two separate drink menus. We started by ordering some drinks and an appetizer of the meat and cheeseboard for the table. We put in our full order at just before 12:59 PM and the meat and cheeseboard came out fairly quick. Overall, it was the best part of our time at the restaurant. With regards to our main meal, we had ordered an eggs, Benedict, a children's pancake and bacon, special, and a steak and eggs meal. That was apparently a mistake as it took them over one hour six minutes before the food hit the table and when it did, it was a mess. The medium rare steak was cooked to a well done with the eggs being extremely messy and not very runny for over easy. The potatoes were dark and charred in places, but we're not crispy by any stretch of the imagination. The Canadian bacon had not been rendered well on the eggs Benedict and one of the two poached eggs clearly had not been poached appropriately. Also, my daughter indicated that the syrup was way too sweet, which was especially surprising as she is someone with a sweet tooth. The pancakes themselves were extremely dense and unfair and served on a plastic tray missing one of the size that was supposed to come with the order. It is clear that the kitchen does not know what they are doing as I was the second person in a row to have issues with the cook temperature on my steak, a problem that appears to carry over to other aspects of the meal as well. At the one hour mark, I've been so frustrated. I had requested to speak with a manager and he was actually the one who brought out the food to our table. There was a good four minute gap between two of the meals being brought out and the third meal, which is what my wife had ordered for her Mother's Day brunch. By the time the eggs Benedict came out, I showed the manager my stake and eggs, and he agreed that it was cooked to a well done rather than the medium rare I had ordered. I had overheard the exact same issue on the next table over where the older woman had not gotten her meal until nearly all seven others at the table had completed their food. At that point, I sent back my steak and indicated I did not want it to be remade as I was done with the place. Shirley, thereafter, I was clear the rest of the family was of the same mind as the meals were a mess and cooked improperly. The manager eventually came over and indicated that he is going to take care of the entire CHUCK which makes sense sense more than 75% of the food ordered had been uneaten or inedible. The service was no better as waiters and waitresses would walk by and failed to refill empty water glasses, even though they would look right at the empty water glass and would have pictures of water in their hand at times. One waitress went to five separate tables around us, including table she was not serving and failed to fill our water, but filled water at other tables. Our waiter was also missing an action for a good portion of the meal. Despite having the meal taken care of, I did leave a small tip for the waiter, though nowhere near what I would have had the service been even somewhat competent. This is a major disappointment as the last experience I had at this restaurant for dinner had been so positive it convinced me to book the place for Mother's Day brunch. I'm not sure if this was a one off situation but I would never recommend a return to this place based on the experience I had this day. What's worse, our reservation appeared to fall between two rushes as we were the second table in the rush that showed up about 10 to 15 minutes after our arrival at the place. As such, our food should've been fairly quick and coming out but others who ordered their food more than 20 minutes after our table received it with no problem. I have to say that the Taco Bell we had as result of this poor food service was Myles and Myles better than the food experience at the restaurant itself.
