Bibs, gloves, and moist towelettes included. Pro tip: get a side of white rice! Rolling the rice into balls and dunking it into the sauce is a great experience. The vibes were casual but upscale. Wow, slowest, slowest, slowest service of my life. We ordered the New England Fest. Our waitress's pager went off, and she said it was probably ours. Nope, we waited another 15 minutes. Finally received our food, no crackers for lobster/crab claws. After five minutes, we asked again and our waitress had an attitude stating they were being disinfected. We waited a minimum of 20 minutes for the cracker, and asked for another. She stated it was one per table. What? We had to ask multiple times for water. The corn was actually served cold like it had been previously frozen. The potatoes were mediocre. There were maybe 7 mussles for what they said was 1/2 pound. There was a ton of shrimp, 2 pieces of snow crab (1#), some clams and a lobster tail for $80. We added another small lobster for $10 (special). Also ordered 1/2 pound (1 portion) of dungeness crab for added cost. My favorite part was the butter and garlic sauce which was tasty. They had run out of both lomein and fried rice, so we ordered a side of plain rice. In the future I might get take out, but seriously doubt will dine in again after such slow and poor service. To go to this establishment with my college girlfriends was perfect. Lots of laughs. I had seafood boil with king crab & clam, it was really tasty, plus the service was good too. Then, Why do I gave it only 3 stars & decided not to go back? It makes no sense, right? Well, the main reason has to do with the plastic bag. The boil was cooked in a plastic bag, as harmful plastic leachables are being released at high temperatures, this is really bad for our health. I was thinking how much microplastics I ingested the whole time I was eating & I felt nauseous immediately after lunch. Was it all in my head? I have eaten at this restaurant on multiple occasions because I'm a fan of seafood. Most of the times i have good service or I ignore the bad service/ rude commentary from the workers because I'm simply hungry. Today I placed an order online, paid for all the fees, and when I got there I decided I would like to just stay and enjoy my meal. I KNEW there would be gratuity to pay since I decided to dine in. When I asked if it was okay to dine in as a customer I was straight up told "NO". The way it was said was like I didn't have the money. She told me and I quote, "No.....if you want ti dine in it's automatically 18% gratuity". Her tone was disgusting and I decided I wasn't even comfortable eating inside. I ordered fish and chips, my companion ordered steak tips (I know...seafood restaurant). Our server was definitely newer and didn't have answers to most questions, in particular what was the drink we kept seeing going passed us. Turns out it was in their signature cocktail, and she didn't know what was is it (1 star), she was friendly enough (3 stars). The steak tips came with mashed potatoes AND french fries...carb load anyone? They were okay and came out hot (3 stars). My fish and chips on the other hand were only warm. The batter was thick, fish gummy and virtually tasteless (1 star). I ate the fries and the coleslaw. All in all, I was highly disappointed. Had lunch here on a Wednesday. It's a nice place and I got timely service since there was hardly any other customers. I ordered the shrimp basket which was good, not exactly a lot of food for the dollar, but satisfying. The thing that puts me off though is how many grammatical errors they have on their menu - appetizer instead of appetizers, kitchen specialty instead of kitchen specialties, etc.. I really feel like this place can satisfy whatever seafood boil cravings you might be having, and it was reasonably priced. The restaurant was pretty open, and very clean. I appreciated the cleanliness more after I had butter dripping down off my hands and my table area was a mess as a result (I made sure to clean up after myself, don't worry). Service was fast and attentive, friendly and helpful with regards to order suggestions. One feature I really liked to see, though I didn't need to use it, was a service call button. Don't we all say we'd like to see that at more places? This place has them! I ordered the New Englander boil, so I got to eat snow crab, lobster, mussels, clams, shrimp, sausage, corn, and potatoes. Fun place to eat. Restaurant decor is fun with sharks and surfboards on the walls. Back bar is big and has cool blue lighting. We got "the shovel " which is supposed to feed 4-5 people but we added crawfish and an extra bundle of crab legs happened to be the nightly special so that was added too. The shovel is $145 and the add-on was $15.95. The server was knowledgeable and attentive. Margaritas were on special for $5, they were pretty good but sweet so I switched after one. Had some glasses of wine and beers, only 3 of us were drinking booze out of the 7 of us. Parties over six people auto gratuity is added at 18%, which is all good, I usually tip 20%. I mean the food was okay, but in the background, while I am trying to eat, all I hear is a woman, I'm assuming was the Manager/Supervisor, yelling, I mean loud, to one of the hostesses in the front of the restaurant. Upon arriving we realized it was reservations only, however they were still able to accommodate us - which was really nice because they didn't have too. My boyfriend ordered 1 lb of crab legs and a 1 lb of crawfish. Tbh, we were afraid it wasn't going to be enough.. however this restaurant gives you PLENTY of seafood to eat. They give you more than enough sides too! In the bag, it comes with potatoes, corn, and sausage. The seafood was hot and well seasoned. I really enjoyed it. In the past -- I ordered the shovel and it was pretty good as well. However, I recommend on ordering it individually instead of their preset combos. I would have given this place a WAY better rating because the food was amazing. however my server LIZ left me with a bad taste in my mouth and tried to get me to tip twice. Get me to tip ON my tip. Literally. I understand that 18% gratuity can be added to a check if there are 6 or more guests. It is stated in the menu and i was a server for 15 years so i now how it works. Unfortunately, this is not exactly how my server handled this. Liz brought over the check that just had the food on it It waa 277. No gratuity added at this point. So my dad paid 225 in cash and I was going to pay the remaining 52 plus a 30% tip that I ALWAYS leave because I know how it is being a server. So that'd all fine and dandy until she brings over the credit slip without any other receipts and all it says is that I paid 84.64. So I questioned this amount and the server, liz acted confused like she had no idea what was going on and blamed it on the girls in front and said she had no idea they added gratuity. I do not care that she added gratuity. I care that she purposely hid the fact that she added gratuity by not give me any receipts with details on it other than a credit card slip. She even removed the original food receipt that we recieved initially that said the food and taxes totaled to 277. Not only that but the credit card slip (which I have posted) makes it seem like u havent tip yet and suggests a variety of tip amounts. (18%, 20%, 23%). This slip was designed to fool people. If someone had already tipped why is there another tip line? Why are you suggesting we tip 18%? 18% of the total. The total which not only includes the food but also includes the 18% gratuity that was already added to the check? I am more than certain servers have gotten away with scamming people in the past by doing this. This is what i call fraud and i will be calling the restaurant to report this as well as the better business bureau so this doesnt happen to more people.just a little bit of transparency. By this i mean just keep thr original slip WITH THE DETAILS in the payment book for the guests to know exactly what they are paying for! read more

Very rarely do I really order seafood especially when my mind was on Popeye's (due to delivery issues unable) & in turn I ended up with this spot ordering 1 Lb. of crayfish (yes photo is coming) and the sauce which I had it set was okay & not burning my mouth off. We were staying next door, new to the area, and decided to eat at Crazy Seafood. Although we didn't need to park, we noticed the parking lot was large. You can't miss the yellow building with the big red crab on the corner! We were greeted, decided to sit at the bar, and Vincent was our bartender/server. Friendly, informative service. We had calamari, spring rolls, clam chowder and the West Springfield Combo. Combo has mussels, shrimp, scallops, sausage, potatoes, corn in a mild tomato based sauce. All food was tasty, fish cooked properly, corn was a bit over cooked and mushy, potatoes cooked ok. The West Springfield Combo presentation was unique in that it was roasted in a clear oven bag and we served it to our plates. If we lived in Springfield it would be a regular stop. read more
