This fab dinner place is right next to the Majestic Theatre in West Springfield. Three friends and…read moreI thought we would try dinner here before the annual Holiday Show. No reservations, so get there early! An automatic bonus star for original craft cocktails and dinner specials. I abhor restaurants that rely on staple meal choices, forgetting that people need variety from the ho hum they make at home ( or can make at home- like Wood and Tap. Boo.). I love a place like this where you can look at the menu and see at least two or three things that make you think "WOW, what will I choose?". The restaurant is very bright with many high top tables. It would have felt conspicuously weird to take photos in the full-capacity situation we were in. There's also a gentleman playing acoustic guitar and singing Christmas music. Nicely done, with a professional voice and playing style. I would say, the only downside was that there didn't seem to be a consistency of how people were waiting on tables, so simple things like a set of silverware missed at our table, and then somebody brought a set and didn't bring napkins. Then one of us received the completely wrong meal and we had a delay in getting it corrected while we were already on a tight schedule with the other flubs to make the show on time. It was scattered issues like that all night that kept this from being a five star experience. It

This spot has that authentic NOLA feel from the moment you walk in, and the food absolutely delivered. Here's what I ordered: Crawfish fritters that were crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and packed with flavor. Catfish po' boy with perfectly seasoned catfish on fresh bread. Every bite was satisfying. Jambalaya rice that was bold, smoky, and full of Louisiana flavor. I loved it so much I ordered the rice and beans with andouille sausage and chicken to go. The flavor was THROUGH THE ROOF! Rich, comforting, and seasoned exactly the way it should be. And let's not forget the cornbread! Moist, buttery, and absolutely amazing. Our waitress was incredibly kind and did a wonderful job. She was one of only two servers working the entire restaurant, so service was definitely slower than expected for a midweek Thursday lunch. Even with the wait, she remained attentive, gracious, and never lost her smile. The restaurant was clean, including the bathrooms, and the atmosphere really captured that New Orleans vibe. Would I go back? In a heartbeat. My only suggestion: keep making that incredible food... just bring it out a little faster! #LeahApproved #BostonEats #NOLAFlavors #FoodieFinds

The avocado tomato salad was a twist I did not expect to love atop the veal and shrimp but it was precisely the freshness that the dish needed and elevated the experience. We just so happened to find this place on a whim and we will certainly be back.

Then, as I was eating my appetizer, the wait service came by tried to clear our table while still eating our appetizers. After completing our appetizers, our salad was presented. However, our wait staff took away all of our folks and silverware. Also, the waitress put our salad on the table which included no utensils and then walked away. I got up from the table and looked for our waitress and was waiting on another table and waited until she done. I then talked with our waitress about not having any dinner utensils. The waitress should have known! It was a terrible dinner experience. Will never go to Casa De Lisa again. Terribly disappointed.

Very inventive menu with some great sandwich options, salads, side veggies, and more. We struggled on what to get because everything looked tasty. The guy taking orders/running the register gave us great suggestions and knew the menu well. We went with a burger, fish sandwich, chicken Milanese sandwich and chilled long bean salad. We all traded bites and everything was excellent. My chicken was thin and crispy and still juicy on a perfect sesame seed bun with arugula and aioli - squeeze of lemon on top and we're good to go! Burger was juicy, and flavorful and the blackened fish was most delicious. The long beans slayed in an Asian type dressing with some Chiles in it - just the right amount of spice. Great selection of beer and wine plus tasty n/a drinks too. The pie slices sounded great but we couldn't pass up on the soft serve. Current flavors were corn and brown butter caramel. We got a swirl of both and inhaled it. Well worth a visit!

The first thing that increased my appetite was the aroma. Our waitress, Rachel, was very friendly and advised us that the cook made outstanding pasta dishes. I ordered a veal dish that was outstanding-fresh vegetables, quality veal and my son's pasta with sausage was great. We had the daily soups with our meals-chicken noodle and stuffed pepper both were outstanding-fresh vegetables, chicken, and the stuffed pepper soup tasted like a stuffed pepper. Outstanding service by Rachel, outstanding homemade food with fresh vegetables and quality meats. We ordered two entrees for home the broasted chicken and veal franchise (excellent)\. Finally, the prices of all meals are reasonable. We will be going again!!!!!!!! I highly recommend--give this place a visit.

What I saw made me loss my appetite- *cook would text, and then handle precooked and cooked food without washing hands or even wiping off hands. *also would rub face and then go back to handing food that was being platted up *not once did I see him wash his hands. Closest to cleaning hands was wiping hands on sides of dirty apron. Which only would happen from time to time. Really disappointing to see a lack of hygiene with the items coming off of the griddle top.

We did not have a reservation, so for 6 people, we expected a wait when walking in at 7:30 pm. We were greeted and seated in less than 2 min. The staff was extremely friendly. We went on to try the BBQ tacos and the BBQ platter, both outstanding. The Grand daddy was a one-and-done cocktail for me as it was strong. I would highly recommend it if you like an old-fashioned. We have decided that it is well worth the 2 hr drive for this meal now, when we make a trip to Six Flags it must include a stop at Fletchers's

Our waitress came back and explained that it was from the bottom of the pot and that she wasn't sure why the kitchen had sent it out that way. The espresso martini was also a miss for me. I ended up ordering an Old Fashion instead, which was much better. Overall, I don't see myself returning, primarily because of the food and drinks. That said, our waitress was absolutely delightful, friendly, attentive, and did her best to make the experience enjoyable despite the issues.
