    Veggie omelet

I was somewhat reservered about this place because of how many times the reviews have let me down... we got here just as they opened on a Saturday morning. Everything from the service to the food to the atmosphere was great! The omelets were huge and tasty, the server was also the chef and he was super nice. The restaurant was warm and inviting, however our one criticism was the restaurant was colder temperature wise. Maybe because they just opened it hadn't warmed up but other than that we had 4 breakfast dishes coffees and a chocolate milk for under $70. The meat lovers omelet had like a pound of bacon in it. It was STUFFED! Lots of value and you can tell these people take pride in what they do. I don't think 4 people can have lunch at Wendi's for less than $70. This will be our go to breakfast joint anytime we go to MGM in the future. I can't recommend them enough.

My first time to try this breakfast and lunch restaurant which is locally owned and right in the middle of the "x" in downtown Spgfld and I am not disappointed. The pancakes were enormous and tasty and the corned beef hash was homemade. My friend had the scrambled eggs/ toast and homefries and she like it too. The ambience was classy casual and the service was prompt and friendly. Will definitely try out their lunch offerings next time ( fried and grilled meats and salmon / sandwiches a

This was my 1st time there . I went because my friend was playing live music . Was nice having live music while having breakfast . I ordered the fajita omelet with steak and my Gf got the Hawaiian omelet . They got our drinks right away and took our order in like 10 minutes. It took at least 45 minutes for the food too come out , I think I had four cups of coffee while we waited . My omelet was good . Plenty of steak and veggies , a little salsa would have made it better . My Gf Hawaiian omelet was much better with the pineapple made it refreshing and a different kinda flavor for breakfast. The toast and hash browns were just average . A little jelly would have been nice . The tables are too small to keep all the condiments on them , so I guess you have to ask for jelly ? It was a good average breakfast, price was reasonable, but don't have plans right after because it's going to take a while .

I'm one who likes breakfast all day at times and I'm first to admit it but when I find spots I haven't tried before I'll give them a crack (pardon the expression) and on this one I have to stay real with what I put. Via a delivery way I ordered it done plus phoned the place just to make sure a certain method is done terms of my eggs & unknowingly I wasn't aware they would miss on maple syrup with a pancake order in this, I had a farmers breakfast with eggs, home fries and sausage patties, extra sausage patties and pancakes & seems food is interesting but might need little refining (oh before I forget that first thing had toast). I do have leftovers which is nice & being it the place gets from local farmers as well is good but might need refining a little. Now you know plus photos coming anyway. Oh yeah I tried that sausage and was good but seemed pepper was high & wee spicy. Pancakes by the way were good but in constructive criticism I would advise them if an order sent out have in this butter & syrup.

Very clean, welcoming staff. Overall a very good breakfast, just a few flaws in process/execution. My eggs (over hard) were cold. Everything else was warm, but they must have finished the eggs first and not kept them under a warmer. We ordered a smoothie, and they added sugar, which made it a bit too sweet. Ask for no added sugar in your smoothie. The order time was a bit long, which tells me the kitchen is not fully experienced yet. A good breakfast with some drawbacks.

The food is delicious, the portions are large, and they make the best home fries I have had in years!

Ordered a Rubin sandwich. They don't know how to make a Rubin. They just threw some raw cabbage on the sandwich. I won't be back.

Service was very slow. They were out of salmon. Food was nothing special. Sausage was spicy. Home fries and eggs just ok.

My steak was overcooked and the Brussels sprouts were hard and undercooked. At first, we told our waitress everything was okay, but after more discussion toward the end of the meal, we decided the expensive steak was truly overdone and mentioned it. Our waitress was incredibly apologetic and immediately offered to have a new steak made and to take it off the bill. The manager was also so helpful and amazing in making things right. Even though the meal itself wasn't up to their usual standard, the way the situation was handled proves exactly why we keep coming back. Truly impeccable service and still one of our favorite spots.

We opted for a more tapas style light dinner. With sesame crusted tuna, Cobb salad, fondue tower, and calamari 1/2&1/2. We appreciated the 1/2 and 1/2 option for the calamari (1/2 Rhode island, 1/2 regular) but when the plate came you couldn't tell the divide. Which was an issue for those that don't want spicy. The bar was very busy and the cocktail menu seems very good. So I can definitely see this place as your after work dinner with friends place to be. But for a calm casual dinner - maybe not. Overall it is a good place. But probably not for everyone - but doesn't need to be.

"You can't leave here until you try the Strudel" I'm told…read more I enter "steak" into Yelp and Student Prince comes up in my search. I start reading about this spot, Student Prince is an authentic German restaurant. I speak fluent beer so my choice is now made up. I had a big lunch so I figured I'd drink a pint of good German beer and a small plate before I'm on my way. Yeah right! My waitress was fantastic, she was suggesting all these great dishes but I didn't have the room. I started with a tap beer and Jägerschnitzel (Schnitzel with Mushroom Gravy, my favorite) the dish came with two sides, sauerkraut and spaetzle. The Jägerschnitzel is a big cutlet, there is a lot of food on my plate. I take a bite of Jägerschnitzel along with some sauerkraut. I take it slow and I was able to knock it all out. The Jägerschnitzel was very good, this is a fantastic spot. The restaurant feels very authentic, from the booths to the bar, they did a great job in recreating a German pub. My waitress kept coming over to make sure I'm ok. She told me to make some room because the Strudel shouldn't be missed. I'm told it's also topped with vanilla ice cream. Another great dish and highly recommended. Student Prince, I don't get the name. I'm glad I found this spot on Yelp. If you want a great German restaurant, Student Prince is a must.

For my main I had the Cornish Hen in a cream sauce. The meat was crispy and the cream sauce flavorful. For dessert I shared the apple strudel which was a very healthy serving. All in all a great spot with a diverse menu.
